“I had no idea this restaurant existed. If I did, I would've come here at least twice a week. This is easily one of the best Mexican places I've been to in a while. So homey, clean and welcoming. It's in a strip mall, so parking is plentiful and easy. It's the restaurant beside the laundromat. This place specializes in birria. So we got their birria pizza and nachos with birria meat. You order everything either from a cashier at the counter or through a kiosk nearby. It's very high tech. The nachos came out within 5 minutes. It tasted fresh and home-made. My son and husband just attacked it with gusto and barely left me any. The tortilla chips were light and didn't taste greasy. The birria meat was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. This was the best dish of nachos I've ever had. That's saying something! The birria pizza was so flavorful...it isn't made with pizza dough but with crunchy tortillas that were generously packed with the meat and cheese. I was surprised by the structural integrity - it didn't fall apart even after I dipped it into their consommé (which tasted like a liquid dream) multiple times. I couldn't stop eating because I enjoyed the mouthfeel so much. The owner, Francisco, was kind enough to allow us to sample their churros which were made in-house. They were the most righteous proportions of crunchy and soft. And dipped into their dulce de leche (which is not cloyingly sweet but surprisingly balanced and complemented the churros so well) - we knew we were addicted. All in all, this was such a serendipitous find. We're so lucky we stumbled upon this gem. This must not be gatekept! Go to Fuego Cravings and thank me later!“

“This is a hole in the wall. The sauces this places produces is pack with flavor. These bold flavors come in different variations of heat mild is ok the hot one is spicy but enjoyable and extra hot you better be ready to guzzle water. You can taste the difference in the spices the owner Nam uses he takes pride in his work and the taste is there. No wait unlike the big name places, but their food speaks volumes. This place holds true to great food from a family business. This place has won this foodie over. Hidden Gem in Covina there are a few of these places and this is one of them. Glad to have stumbled upon it. Glad I didn't listen to the 1 bad review.“

“First time here. Good size portions for the ceviche tostadas. I asked what were the top selling and the cashier said pescado, camaron, and aguachiles.I ordered two of the three (camaron, and aguachiles) and they did not disappoint. They were loaded with ceviche and tasty. The tostada was solid, crunchy, and did not break apart if you wanted to lift it to eat.Check out the picture. They do have beer on the menu.“

“The albomdigas soup was as great as II remembered it. The price blew me away. I suppose all businesses had to jump on the price gouging bandwagon to keep up with their competitors incomes. It's no longer about the best prices in town. It's what people are willing to spend to get what they truly enjoy, no matter the cost. I won't be rushing back anytime soon. Because I can't afford steak prices for soup that's just a couple of meatballs and a few veggies in a small bowl. With rice and beans on the side.Mexican food recipes were created from has a history of being able to feed a large number of people on a small budget. I spent a lot of time in Mexico and they are the most gracious people who will share whatever they have to eat always. This is the very best Albodigas soup. So delicious, yet at $18 all I could do was remember how I used to be able to eat here a couple times a month for this treat when it was well under $10.00. I may only go on special occasions now. This time it was my 65th birthday.“

We got shrimp and I couldn't belive that it was shrimp from how fresh it was - i've never had shrimp this good and I thought it was a fancier kind of seafood. Really bring out the flavors. The crowd is older people who have come back for years, and everyone should come eat here. PRICES AND PORTIONS ARE GREAT!!!“

“We ordered frog with chili and frog with pickled chili. Both are fresh and great! We wrote in the notes to ask if these dishes could be made as less spicy as possible. They made it, without loss of flavor. The cauliflower dry pot is also tasty. So this is certainly not a restaurant providing pre-made food. I haven’t try too many Szechuan restaurants in LA, but if this was in great Seattle area, this restaurant would be the top.“
