“We came out here from LA and this place was better than a lot of LA sushi spots! Such delicious creative rolls! I’m allergic to imitation crab meat and they had a lot of rolls without it, which is a good sign because that means the chef gets more creative with ingredients for rolls. Fish was great quality, sauces were amazing. Service was lovely. I can’t wait to come back!“

“Stopped in for breakfast and asked the waitress if the Huevos Rancheros Chile Verde plate came with rice and beans. She said yes so I asked her to hold the rice a d double the frijoles.

I judge Mexican restaurants by the frijoles and corn chips.

The chips came with cold stale chips, yesterday maybe, and Pico de Gallo with little to no spice. Thank the Lord for Tapatio.

My plate came out and it was just runny chile verde and beans. I asked where the Huevos Rancheros were as it was not under the as expected and back to the kitchen where I believe some of the chile verde was removed to make room for the additional item.

I should have had it brought out on a separate plate. lesson learned. The beans were authentic and tasty.

My friends carne asada nachos looked great and filling.

I doubt I will return unless it's on a weekend to review the Menudo and pata.“

“Nam and his family are incredibly hospitable. The food here is extremely fresh and delicious. We chatted after our meal and we had a wonderful exchange about his life and his business partner.
If you’re in the area do stop by! He gets his seafood fresh multiple times a week and uses a fusion of Cajun and Vietnamese flavors for the food.“

The restaurant is not too big but they do offer indoor and outdoor seating if available I love sitting outside because there’s nothing better than just being in the sun eating your seafood but it’s also comfortable. “The food was excellent. The food far surpasses the service. Let's begin with the Buffalo shrimp, which were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. An excellent take on wings seafood style. The seafood caldon especal was full of flavor, perfectly spices even though it has jalapeño in it bring back a sense of being on the beach. The Capechana was high quality and the delicious. The chef not only an excellent cook but took part of the service. The Michelada base alone is memorable and wanted to buy a gallon of it. The waitress was professional but needs to elevate her service skills, one attention to the client was very slow, there was no effort to explain the menu, little initiative to attend out table.“

“One of the best garlic fish in LA County, Orange, Riverside, etc…. Delicious flavor and great size. Accompanied by salad and French fries; There is an option of beans and rice too. The place is very clean and tidy. The menu options are spectacular and I will surely return to try more. The service is very good too. The music was very loud and I asked if they could lower the volume and they very kindly did so. I was able to eat in peace. Thank you.“

2025: We have been coming here for breakfast and lunch. The steamed buns are so addictive! I love everything I have tried so far.
Plenty of parking, napkins are stored in a drawer under table top. The Middle section Seatings are very nice.
Steamed buns, dumplings and noodles were so good. The cold chicken and soup were blend. Gnats often found hovering over the sauce station. Bathroom generally are clean.
Servers were doing their best but there’s room for improvement. On one occasion four servers were running around like chicken with no heads for less than 30 diners. I’ve seen more efficient servers elsewhere.
The pricy dinner menu is not enticing, the seafood is steamed together so some can be over or under cooked. I don’t see the price hyped up compared to steaming them at home at $68-$88 pp.
I’m leaving this long comments in the hopes that this restaurant can survive because the buns, dumplings are exceptionally good!!“

“Used love this place and would come here often. Their fish 🐟 tacos 🌮 are delicious 😋 but it seems they have changed a bit.
The quality was definitely better before, maybe a different cook? Not sure. They're still good but not as they used to be. Service is always good, the staff are friendly and attentive. I've had their campechana and it's so good! Definitely recommended as well as their tostadas de camarón and pescado“

“The agüachiles are tasty and the drinks (my micheladas and palomas) are refreshing. Delicious Mexican street-style snacks (pambazo that my wife ate) and the gummy snacks with chili and delicious strawberry and cream desserts. “I recently tried Chubby Skewers and overall had a pretty good experience. They have a great selection of meats, and at $1.20 per skewer, it’s easy to try a variety without spending too much.

That said, some of the meats were a bit on the tougher side, which took away from the experience a little. But not everything was a miss, the grilled oysters and scallops were definitely highlights and tasted really good.

I also liked that you can order from the menu if you want something more than skewers. Overall, it’s a solid spot if you’re looking for variety at a reasonable price, with a few standout items worth coming back for.“

“Great food, portions are bonkers good. Food quality is top notch and well worth the price. Staff are super friendly as well. I got a combo plate and unlike other Japanese restaurants I actually got beef that was properly cooked. After seeing the portions of the sushi rolls I will try those out next time because they were giant. Will definitely return.“
