“This was our first experience at Jessie's Mexican & Seafood Restaurant. Honestly we were in the Azusa area to dine at another restaurant and they were closed, and we noticed Jessie's Mexican Restaurant down the block and we decided to try it. WOW 😲, this was a incredible experience, the waitress took time to explain the menu, what caught our eye was that they make fresh tortillas for your Taco's. Excellent tortillas!!
We ordered fish & carnitas tacos, along with taquitos, the guacamole was excellent 👍, chips and salsa were delicious.
The service was outstanding, the staff was very friendly and acknowledged you when we walked in.
The atmosphere was very pleasant, the restaurant makes you feel like you are in Mexico enjoying a nice lunch/dinner.

“One of the best garlic fish in LA County, Orange, Riverside, etc…. Delicious flavor and great size. Accompanied by salad and French fries; There is an option of beans and rice too. “Great place, food is good and Drinks are better 😆 Frozen Mango Margaritas are 💣 I love that they serve chips and dlasa and add a bean dip to it. We always get their Mix Fajitas has chicken, aside shrimp and fish. Seeved with beans and rice tortillas. Although I wish they would add condiments like sour cream, guacamole and Pico de gallo otherwise this is a great buy and can be enough for 2 persons. Also Carnitas burrito and their Molcajete is BOMB!!“

2025: We have been coming here for breakfast and lunch. The steamed buns are so addictive! I love everything I have tried so far.
Plenty of parking, napkins are stored in a drawer under table top. The Middle section Seatings are very nice.
Steamed buns, dumplings and noodles were so good. The cold chicken and soup were blend. Gnats often found hovering over the sauce station. Bathroom generally are clean.
Servers were doing their best but there’s room for improvement. On one occasion four servers were running around like chicken with no heads for less than 30 diners. I’ve seen more efficient servers elsewhere.
The pricy dinner menu is not enticing, the seafood is steamed together so some can be over or under cooked. I don’t see the price hyped up compared to steaming them at home at $68-$88 pp.
I’m leaving this long comments in the hopes that this restaurant can survive because the buns, dumplings are exceptionally good!!“

“Came here based on recommendations from our friends and it did not disappoint. We ordered the sushi boat for 2 which came with thick cuts of sashimi, deep fried soft shelled crab, shrimp and veggie tempura, fried chicken, and teriyaki (we got the beef and chicken mix). There was so much food it was probably enough to serve 4 people!

They offer miso soup and edamame for the table when you get seated. The restaurant itself is pretty small but we came for a late dinner on Fri and was seated immediately. Sashimi is very fresh and portions were generous. Our friends really recommend the chirashi bowl so that’s what we’re gonna get next time we’re back. What a hidden gem of a restaurant! :)“

“When I went there yesterday for a late lunch during work and was thus starving, I realized after I ordered that I had forgotten my cash, debit and credit card in a purse I had used over the weekend. The cashier, Giovanni, came to the rescue, offering to put in the cash for me when I said I could Zelle him the money. How often do you find customer service like that these days? I almost cried. “Kept seeing friends on social media posting about this place, I am a big fan of Mariscos and live in La Verne, very limited to places like this. Decided to make the short drive and glad we did. The restaurant was clean and bright, vibes were great, very family friendly and had a lot of decorations for the world cup which was cool. Had the tostada mixta, tasted super fresh and flavorful and we also had the molcajete mar y tierra, both were very very good. We will return soon 😋“

“This place is consistent. Great food great service with friendly staff. Came in for breakfast. Ordered the chorizo a la Mexicana and the ham and cheese omelette. They gave chips and salsa. Chips were fresh and crunchy and the salsa had a little spice to it. Portions are generous so be sure to bring an appetite.“

“I am not a big fan of mariscos. This is one of the best mariscos spots I actually enjoy. I highly recommend the shrimp and fish tacos, the camarones dinamitas, camarones de cucarachas, Coctel de Camaron, the aguachiles is actually one of the best sauces I've actually tasted, not to mention there other Mexican dishes they have on the menu. I also rented the hall for events and the menu for their catering services are good as well and the hostility from dining in and renting the hall has been phenomenal.
