“This was our first experience at Jessie's Mexican & Seafood Restaurant. Honestly we were in the Azusa area to dine at another restaurant and they were closed, and we noticed Jessie's Mexican Restaurant down the block and we decided to try it. WOW 😲, this was a incredible experience, the waitress took time to explain the menu, what caught our eye was that they make fresh tortillas for your Taco's. Excellent tortillas!!
We ordered fish & carnitas tacos, along with taquitos, the guacamole was excellent 👍, chips and salsa were delicious.
The service was outstanding, the staff was very friendly and acknowledged you when we walked in.
The atmosphere was very pleasant, the restaurant makes you feel like you are in Mexico enjoying a nice lunch/dinner.
Allow me to recommend this location for a amazing experience, you will love it.“

“Food and prices always great. Have tried many dishes including: birria de res, burritos, breakfasts, chilaquiles, sopes, tacos dorados, bean and cheese burrito, their French fries are a fam fave! The ladies there are always great and the coffee is delicious!“

“One of the best garlic fish in LA County, Orange, Riverside, etc…. Delicious flavor and great size. Accompanied by salad and French fries; There is an option of beans and rice too. The place is very clean and tidy. The menu options are spectacular and I will surely return to try more. The service is very good too. The music was very loud and I asked if they could lower the volume and they very kindly did so. I was able to eat in peace. Thank you.“

“Great place, food is good and Drinks are better 😆 Frozen Mango Margaritas are 💣 I love that they serve chips and dlasa and add a bean dip to it. We always get their Mix Fajitas has chicken, aside shrimp and fish. Seeved with beans and rice tortillas. Although I wish they would add condiments like sour cream, guacamole and Pico de gallo otherwise this is a great buy and can be enough for 2 persons. Also Carnitas burrito and their Molcajete is BOMB!!“

2025: We have been coming here for breakfast and lunch. The steamed buns are so addictive! I love everything I have tried so far.
Plenty of parking, napkins are stored in a drawer under table top. The Middle section Seatings are very nice.
Steamed buns, dumplings and noodles were so good. The cold chicken and soup were blend. Gnats often found hovering over the sauce station. Bathroom generally are clean.
Servers were doing their best but there’s room for improvement. On one occasion four servers were running around like chicken with no heads for less than 30 diners. I’ve seen more efficient servers elsewhere.
The pricy dinner menu is not enticing, the seafood is steamed together so some can be over or under cooked. I don’t see the price hyped up compared to steaming them at home at $68-$88 pp.
I’m leaving this long comments in the hopes that this restaurant can survive because the buns, dumplings are exceptionally good!!“

The quality was definitely better before, maybe a different cook? Not sure. They're still good but not as they used to be. Service is always good, the staff are friendly and attentive. “Been coming here for years. Their tostada servings are always generous. Their rice and beans are great. Tostada mixta is my go to but I also was craving the mojarra as you can see. Everything tasted great. Small place, and the decor is very dated. But the food makes up for it. Good for to-go orders too.“

“I am not a big fan of mariscos. This is one of the best mariscos spots I actually enjoy. I highly recommend the shrimp and fish tacos, the camarones dinamitas, camarones de cucarachas, Coctel de Camaron, the aguachiles is actually one of the best sauces I've actually tasted, not to mention there other Mexican dishes they have on the menu. I also rented the hall for events and the menu for their catering services are good as well and the hostility from dining in and renting the hall has been phenomenal. Anyone wanting to eat good mariscos I highly recommend this place“

Never spoke to not one wait staff never approached never asked how everything was, just called my name and handed me my tray. So can't rate service. “Service was good and friendly. So were the chefs. In my honest opinion I don't think this place is authentically owned by Japanese people though, because the portions are HUGE like the rolls are 3-4x the size of a normal sushi roll but with 1/2 the flavor from what I am used to. It tasted good enough but not the authentic Japanese super flavorful delicate sushi I was looking for. The rolls was so big, there's not way you can fit the whole thing in your mouth at once so I tried to cut it but the seaweed was soft and wouldn't cut...lolll.. the plate became a destroyed piece of cut roll and I had to eat each piece in a smaller piece which ruins the flavor. There is way too much rice on the rolls. The restroom was not bad but also not great. They ran out of toilet seat covers and was slightly unkempt. A real Japanese owned restaurant would have an immaculate restroom. Inside was loud every table was prety much full.“
