“I’m back at this xiao long bao spot in Baldwin Park again! The restaurant has that super down-to-earth, old-school Chinese restaurant feel that instantly feels familiar. The main point is — they’ve been making xiao long bao in LA for years, and everything is still handmade by the aunties, not pre-made. If you want a giant crab roe soup dumpling, this is the place I think of!

The giant crab roe soup dumpling comes out steaming hot and is seriously huge — it almost fills the whole steamer 🤣. I like to slowly sip the soup through a straw first, then open it up and eat the rest. The crab roe flavor is rich and fragrant, and it’s so satisfying while it’s still hot. Even editing the video made me crave it again!

We also ordered crab roe xiao long bao and sweet-style pork xiao long bao. The wrappers are thin and there’s plenty of soup inside. The slightly sweet pork filling feels very Jiangnan-style, and I personally really like that little touch of sweetness.

The Wuxi-style pork ribs looked so appetizing too — tender meat with a sweet, savory sauce that goes perfectly with rice. The Liangxi crispy eel was another specialty I really liked. It’s crispy, fragrant, and super snackable — not something you see at every restaurant.

For something warm and comforting, we also had a bowl of five-spice beef rice noodles, with your choice of spicy or non-spicy, plus a plate of garlic pea shoots to round out the meal.

I also noticed they have these cute little training chopsticks 🥢, which are perfect for kids or anyone who’s still learning how to use chopsticks. Such a thoughtful touch haha.

We always get their Mix Fajitas has chicken, aside shrimp and fish. Seeved with beans and rice tortillas. Although I wish they would add condiments like sour cream, guacamole and Pico de gallo otherwise this is a great buy and can be enough for 2 persons. Also Carnitas burrito and their Molcajete is BOMB!!“

Taco Bell would cost you twice as much for frozen fast food with tons of fat and cholesterol.The hard working and caring staff at Micheladas makes the food fresh with quality you can see as they are making it.And as an added bonus,if you’re into Karaoke, the owners will entertain you as you eat their awesome Mexican dishes. “The hamburger combo was just ok. Patty was really thin and felt low on protein, mostly a carb-heavy burger. Fries were good though, cooked and seasoned right.

The teriyaki chicken had a good portion and better protein than the burger. Salad was fresh. Rice was a little too sticky but still a solid meal.
The Boston shake with chocolate chip add-ins is where this place shines. Super good and easily the best thing we had.

“Solid burrito, I got the claim to fame, Alfredo. Would recommend ? Unfortunately, the ordering window for pedestrians is so small that I couldnt really see or talk with anybody after ordering. Otherwise, very good service and chill vibes
