“A Delightful Sushi Experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The sushi was outstanding—fresh, expertly crafted, and beautifully presented. The chef’s special sashimi, were bursting with flavor. The nigiri was a standout, with perfectly seasoned rice and melt-in-your-mouth fish. Service was impeccable; the staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They even made excellent recommendations based on my preferences. One thing to note: Fillet doesn’t have a liquor license yet, so if you’re someone who enjoys pairing sushi with sake or wine, this might be a consideration. They said it’s coming soon, I can’t wait to come back here again.“

“Ty of Thai Thyme is an exceptional host. After dinner, he's rokk the time to greet our party and give us insights as to visiting Thailand. He was very nice and hospitable. But I digress, the FOOD was phenomenal! We ordered the Tom Ka soup, chicken curry, shrimp fried rice, beef pad Thai, chicken satay, and Thai ice teas. Everything was so flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Authentic Thai spices and chile. We'll be going bab very soon!!!“

“I actually ordered their chicken and waffle for breakfast and not thinking this can be that great (because I didn't choose this place but my mom did 😬). However, to my surprise, the Belgium waffle was huge and has a very good texture with a special dough. And Man, that chicken thigh is something else! I love that chicken was marinated first, then fired (or baked) so it's juicy and not dry at all! Not to even mention the Hispanic servers there can speak Chinese so that's why they can draw my mom back (and now me)! 🤣 👏 Bravo Nano Cafe 👏“

“Very comfortable place to be in. Everyone was relaxed and you could hear the staff in the kitchen communicating getting the orders out. They have good lighting, a larger modern menu board with a great selection. They had light hearted music playing and a big tv to watch the Dodger games. I was surprised to see Birria on the menu so had to get that for sure! I think I will may this my goto spot a couple days a week so I can eat better for less and no dishes to wash.“

“I love Alitalia Pizza in Monrovia! I have ordered and picked up their pizza many times now- honestly my favorite pizza place! My favorite is the large garden salad- it’s huge and full of so many veggies! Why the salad? The BEST homemade balsamic dressing I’ve had. Not kidding! I even dip my pizza in it. I crave this dressing every day. I also order the gourmet veggie pizza every time. Tons of vegetables, fresh and delicious. I’ve also had the homemade cheesecake which I loved. Can’t go wrong here. “This place serves Sichuan style Chinese cuisine. Highly recommended. They operate more on food to go but has a small space for 14 diners. Paying in cash expedites service by a lot.

I ordered their Kung Pao Chicken and Fish in Black Bean Sauce. It was served fresh and hot, with steamed rice. Kung Pao Chicken was meaty and really has a good balance of flavors and spiciness. The Fish in Black Bean Sauce was soft, flaky, saucy and not too salty to taste.

Food was served at almost in an instant, around 5 mins from ordering. The serving is very generous, good for 2-3 people for 1 order (see photo), depending on your appetite. For the food price ranged around $10+, it is a steal. Customer service is nice and the lady is very quick on her feet.

Plenty of parking outside. No restrooms though. Come here with an empty stomach and bladder.

I would return here next time to try their Hot Pot, Spicy Chicken Nuggets and Mapo Tofu. 🌶🍛“

“We randomly stumbled upon this poke restaurant and it quickly became one of our favorites! The fish was incredibly fresh. The ahi and salmon was very high quality. I enjoyed how customizable the bowls were and how the sauces had the perfect amount of flavor and spices!

Portions were generous and the toppings were fantastic!

Staff was friendly! They provided helpful recommendations.

“If you have not had the chance to dine in at Girasol, I highly recommend it. The chicharon with guac is a must as a starter, make sure you get some of the spicy sauce. As for a recommendation for a meal, well you have to come in and try. We loved the chilaquiles, the carne en su juego, the menudo, and the breakfast burrito. If you have a sweeter taste, the French toast, the pancakes and the crepe are awesome. But as mentioned before, you just have to come in and try everything.“

“yeah so I finally tried that place on magnolia everyone's been talking about and honestly it hit the spot pretty well. the kimchi jjigae was super comforting on a cold day and had just the right amount of spice to warm you up without making you sweat through your shirt or anything dramatic but it was definitely solid. the side dishes were good too with the little fishcake being my favorite but i wish they gave you more banchan for how much the entrees cost, you know, like at least refill once. the bulgogi was tender and had a nice sweet marinade that paired well with the ssamjang and lettuce wraps they brought out, though the serving size felt a bit small for the price. i gobbled it up pretty quick and was kinda wishing i had ordered an extra rice bowl to make sure i got full. honestly id go back for the soup alone but id probably skip the grill items unless im really craving it and just stick to the hot pot choices since that is what they seem to do best.“

“This is such a special place. My boyfriend and I were staying at The Arthur Blair House for the weekend and they highly recommended it to us...we were so happy to take the suggestion. We were welcomed into such a delightful and warm environment and immediately sat at the bar. Julie, the owner, is the kindest and sweetest woman and she cooks like an angel. Even though the menu says small bites, the portions are large enough to share and they are so so good. The menu is great, but be aware that they may not have everything due to availability...but what is available is awesome. We ordered the Caesar salad and the surf and turf plates and it was delectable. Julie, who is also the wine director for the restaurant, offered us a great selection of little known wines that blew us away to complement her amazing food. She has cultivated an environment that feels like you're being cooked for by family or your best friend. We will be back to The Saltner, for sure, as it's a new favorite place. If you're ever in Monrovia, be sure to go, you'll be glad you did.“

“Very cheap, healthy, quick food that is simple and pretty good. Looks run down but everything is affordable and great value. The bowls you get to choose a meat, and it comes with rice and veggies. They also have udon and sushi. Staff are friendly and there is both indoor and outdoor seating.“

“This is the 3rd Ike’s I have been to, and they always serve up quality, delicious sandwiches that are quick and convenient. Brought them on a road trip the next day and still tasty. The interior is very clean and staff very friendly. The wide selection means you can always try something new or just stick to whatever is your favorite.
