“A Delightful Sushi Experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The sushi was outstanding—fresh, expertly crafted, and beautifully presented. The chef’s special sashimi, were bursting with flavor. The nigiri was a standout, with perfectly seasoned rice and melt-in-your-mouth fish. Service was impeccable; the staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They even made excellent recommendations based on my preferences. One thing to note: Fillet doesn’t have a liquor license yet, so if you’re someone who enjoys pairing sushi with sake or wine, this might be a consideration. They said it’s coming soon, I can’t wait to come back here again.“

“Loved it here! Love the food been coming here with my family since forever and they have amazing portions. Although, the only thing I don’t like is the cashiers. A girl with blonde/brownish hair always has attitude. She rolls her eyes and stares at you weird and it isn’t the first time, I notice she does that to other customers too. Overall food 10/10 tho!“

“I'm giving Oji a five star rating because I have been coming here for years--at least the past 6 years. Most of the time, the food is great! My recent visit--the crispy tuna appetizer was flavorless and a bit chewy in a less than fresh way. Although this was my first time at Oji in a while, I was surprised because normally the food is delicious! Service was good. I'll try again Oji!

“The sushi here was excellent. The rice in the two rolls had a hint of yuzu that really elevated the flavor. Yuzu can sometimes be overpowering, but the chef used it perfectly to enhance the overall taste. It really brought the entire roll together. I especially enjoyed the Crunchy Albacore Roll—the balance of flavors was spot on.
The chirashi bowl was also plentiful and a great value for the price. The fish was very fresh, but the standout part was the rice. I’ve honestly never had sushi rice quite like this before. In addition to the classic vinegary sushi rice flavor, there was a subtle hint of yuzu that added an extra layer of freshness. When paired with the fish, it made the whole experience feel even more elevated.
If you come between 5:00 and 6:30, they offer 15% off during happy hour, which makes the experience even better.

“Great food, portions are bonkers good. Food quality is top notch and well worth the price. Staff are super friendly as well. I got a combo plate and unlike other Japanese restaurants I actually got beef that was properly cooked. After seeing the portions of the sushi rolls I will try those out next time because they were giant. Will definitely return.“

I always wondered how real Japanese sushi would taste and I have a feeling this place is certainly close to that. I had recently watched a documentary on Netflix and how this one place in Japan you just trust the chef to serve you delicious 😋 sushi! Well this is place does the same and boy it doesn't disappoint. Started with fatty Tuna that melted in my mouth so fresh delicious then moved on to giant Clams (Mirugai) it was sweet & crunchy I could have gone for second order not many sushi restaurants have (Mirugai)The fatty belly Salmon was buttery & the spicy Tuna hand roll sashimi was perfect coz I’m a spicy food addict it was just heavenly for me. Yum yum 🤤 ended with Kumamoto Oyster 🦪 it was so sweet like cotton candy in your mouth made me wanting more which I did order more. “I really loved this place! Such a good spot for date night. I really enjoyed the bbq ribs appetizer. My boyfriend had the fried oysters appetizer all to himself. I loved the albacore served with very thin slices of onion and a small bed of rice. The California roll was superb. Washed it all down with their Nigori sake & crème brûlée. Love that they are open late on Saturdays too. 10/10 for me 😍“

“So this was my first time doing Omakase. Wow what an experience. I will start off to say that the service was fantastic. They really take care of you . We ordered some sake and waited for the 6 course chef’s choice meal to start coming out. As you can see from the pictures the presentation was fantastic. All the fish had such good flavor and buttery goodness. Such amazing flavors. I for the life of me cannot remember anything that we got in particular but all I know is that it was delicious. I know I did try some stuff that I normally wouldn’t have but all tasted fantastic. Service was just top notch , they saw our sake cup was empty they would come over and refill for us. WOW! It’s a tiny place and started to fill up after they opened at 11:30am. We had reservations for 11:30am at the bar. Does seem to be a very popular spot definitely would go back and try some other stuff. Had a great time hanging with My close friend . Will be back.

“Sashimi: Walk in and walk straight to the back if you’re looking for sashimi. Grab a ticket! They’ll call the number and then you’ll get to pick the sashimi you want. Wait till they cut it and come back when they call your number. About 5-10 minutes! Once your ticket number is called, grab the cut sashimi and you’re ready for checkout (front).

Rolls: If you’re looking for rolls, walk in to the left side (coolers). Theres a line sometimes so don’t cut in line if you see people wrapped around the corner for the rolls!

Interior: it’s packed with Japanese condiments/food/snacks! Price of these are higher but I do believe most of them come from Japan.

Price: it’s reasonable and fresh! Highly recommend if you have party to serve.

Condiments for your fish: they give soy sauce/ chopstick/ice if needed at the checkout. Wasabi is sold separately at the coolers if needed but wasabi is also included inside your sashimi cut containers.

“We came out here from LA and this place was better than a lot of LA sushi spots! Such delicious creative rolls! I’m allergic to imitation crab meat and they had a lot of rolls without it, which is a good sign because that means the chef gets more creative with ingredients for rolls. Fish was great quality, sauces were amazing. Service was lovely. I can’t wait to come back!“

“I've gotten sushi here a few times via Doordash. The quality of the sushi rolls is good overall, but the portion has gotten very small. The vegetable tempura is subpar considering the price they charge. (The pumpkin is sliced so thin and the taro is cut like the size of a pinky!)“

I was here for new years and they had a lot of sushi platters for pick up. The sushi is good and fresh. They also have some really good spam musubi. “This is a really good sushi spot in a food court. The tempura, sushi, and bento boxes reminds of the old Sushi on Garfield takeout restaurant in Monterey Park (now permanently closed) before the owner changed its menu, but Sushi In The Box has many more choices.“

“Came here for Father & Daughter Valentine’s Day Lunch. First thing that stood out was how beautiful the interior was, my daughter and I loved being able to sit in the booths. The food was great, a little pricey but that’s expected with Sushi. I recommend getting the mushrooms as an appetizer! I also want to give a shoutout to Megan who was our server that day. She was really sweet and attentive, really enjoyed her positive spirit while we were there. I managed to get a Polaroid with her that they were doing for Valentines Day. Overall great lunch. “Got to try the burrito, Route 66, quinoa fiesta - those are my go to but anything on the menu I’ve tried is delicious. They keep adding to items in their market section which has frozen, refrigerated and packaged items - so stop by other or you can even see the market items via their website.“

“Sushi is delicious here and always fresh - this is our fave spot in Blossom Market Hall! Great quality food, friendly service, and decent prices given the portion sizes and quality.

I’ve tried the Dragon Roll and the Tiger Roll and loved them both. The Tiger Roll has plain cooked shrimp, shrimp tempura, crab and cucumber with a lovely mix of sauces over the top. The Dragon Roll has spicy salmon, shrimp tempura, crab, cucumber and onion also with delectable sauces on top.

The Dragon Roll was the winner for sure - the spicy salmon on top was some of the best I’ve had - not surprised it’s one of their best sellers.

Their rolls are quite large - more than enough for one person per roll and the prices are very decent. Their combos are pretty huge and an excellent bargain. We got my FIL a combo C and a Blossom Roll to go on our last visit - I was impressed by the presentation and he loved them both. Will have to try one next time!
