“I love this place, the family is so incredibly nice.
I usually get a #5 beef/chicken combo, extra veg, teriyaki and curry sauce on the side. It's a lot of food so I try my best to eat half for 2 lunches. Their ice tea is good, most places tend to have a dish rag taste.ive been going there for over 30yrs and it's always the same delicious quality. Unlike fast food chains that charge more and more with quality dropping every year.

“A Delightful Sushi Experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The sushi was outstanding—fresh, expertly crafted, and beautifully presented. The chef’s special sashimi, were bursting with flavor. The nigiri was a standout, with perfectly seasoned rice and melt-in-your-mouth fish. Service was impeccable; the staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They even made excellent recommendations based on my preferences. One thing to note: Fillet doesn’t have a liquor license yet, so if you’re someone who enjoys pairing sushi with sake or wine, this might be a consideration. They said it’s coming soon, I can’t wait to come back here again.“

“We had a wonderful experience at Yashima. The food was fresh and beautifully prepared, and everything we ordered tasted amazing. The sushi and sashimi were especially high quality. I’ve tried the Dragon Roll and the Tiger Roll and loved them both. The Tiger Roll has plain cooked shrimp, shrimp tempura, crab and cucumber with a lovely mix of sauces over the top. The Dragon Roll has spicy salmon, shrimp tempura, crab, cucumber and onion also with delectable sauces on top.

The Dragon Roll was the winner for sure - the spicy salmon on top was some of the best I’ve had - not surprised it’s one of their best sellers.

Their rolls are quite large - more than enough for one person per roll and the prices are very decent. Their combos are pretty huge and an excellent bargain. We got my FIL a combo C and a Blossom Roll to go on our last visit - I was impressed by the presentation and he loved them both. Will have to try one next time!

Service was efficient and very welcoming. Order at the counter and they’ll give you a buzzer. The vibe in the market hall is lively and inviting - with lots of seating options and promising dessert choices once you’ve finished your dinner. Sushi Rolland is right inside the main entrance and there’s plenty of free parking on site.“

Doesn't cost a fortune, service is amazing, it's Japanese-American but you feel like you're getting the same service you would get in Japan and a kitchen staff are very attentive and communicative. “Sashimi: Walk in and walk straight to the back if you’re looking for sashimi. Grab a ticket! They’ll call the number and then you’ll get to pick the sashimi you want. Wait till they cut it and come back when they call your number. About 5-10 minutes! Once your ticket number is called, grab the cut sashimi and you’re ready for checkout (front).

Rolls: If you’re looking for rolls, walk in to the left side (coolers). Theres a line sometimes so don’t cut in line if you see people wrapped around the corner for the rolls!

Interior: it’s packed with Japanese condiments/food/snacks! Price of these are higher but I do believe most of them come from Japan.

Price: it’s reasonable and fresh! Highly recommend if you have party to serve.

Condiments for your fish: they give soy sauce/ chopstick/ice if needed at the checkout. Wasabi is sold separately at the coolers if needed but wasabi is also included inside your sashimi cut containers.

“Saw this place while looking for thrift stores to explore. My boyfriend and I decided to go in and it was a great choice! Nice, quiet, with very friendly staff. Waited such a short time for the food and it was soooo good. Would definitely come back if I’m ever in the area again :)“

“There used to be in a Marugame near my college, but it has disappeared and since then, I’ve been yearning for it. Marugame’s noodles are bouncy and the soup rich in fishy flavor. I love the ability to tempura, but my tempura was a little too soggy in the breading. But overall, loved the experience and the food“

“Absolutely delicious! I decided to try this place today and I'm immediately reviewing to get people to support this local gem. I had the tofu vegetable combo plate and it was tasty as hell. The tofu was soft, the veggies had the perfect bite, and the brown sauce was well seasoned. The entire dish was warm and light enough that I almost cleaned my plate despite it being so satisfying. I'm happy I was able to bring some home for later and will be going back regularly now!“

Their wagyu cuts are 100% top-grade and not just random "wagyu" that are below the marks. We tried their A5 and M9 meats, not to mention their salmon carpaccio that is to die for. Their sides are absolutely delicious and smart, one great example is their fried pork buns that is like a spin on soup dumplings. To top it off, you get premium ice cream in the end. Their salad is so good with yuzu and smokey salt, plus you get a chili mix too. They serve the meats fast plus your tablet menu is in front of you so you don't have to keep calling the staff to refill. I give them 9 stars! 🌟 🐄 🥩“

One colleague said the best she's ever had, and I'd place it among my top 3. Their fish is on point, so is their service. Wish the sashimi had ginger to refresh between the different fish and flavors, but a small note compared to the overall experience.“

“Absolutely love Nabemono Shabu Shabu. We were finally able to enjoy a dine in experience, and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful space and great service. I highly recommend their sukiyaki and spicy creamy pork bone broth. Absolutely superb with their ramen, fresh veggies and sauces (ponzu and sesame). Can’t wait to go back to enjoy their cold noodles! Yum!“

“ok I was craving Cali rolls but my usual spot wasn't taking orders at the time on Uber eats. so I looked for another spot. I settled on this one because they had some good deals going plus the Cali rolls looked really tasty in the pic lol. I got 2 orders Cali rolls and a yellowtail roll. I also asked for teriyaki or eel sauce on side . everything was fresh and when I say the avocado and meat melted in my mouth .. it was so amazing . I will definitely be ordering again and trying some other rolls my fave. yellow tal isn't my favorite for sushi but I'm glad I tried it and it was very fresh .

“A cafeteria-style restaurant located right inside the market in food court. All the food is battered, so if you’re not a fan of batter, you won’t find much else here. However, I have to note that the dishes are good and the batter is high-quality, not overcooked or hard like it often is at places that use it. The staff was friendly. The big downside is the dirty tables, since no restaurant is responsible for the food court area and nobody cleans it.“

“This place has the most delicious food ive ever eaten. Im being real. I don't even live nearby but I get this as often as I can just so I can eat the chicken taquitos. If I was on death row my last meal request would be the taquitos. I dream about them. Im being serious. Go here. Get taquitos. And then think to yourself wow I wish I had gotten these taquitos earlier in my life, how much taquito-ing have I missed out on by not getting these more often!??!! “You order on a pad... The pad has pictures also. A bunch of categories like drinks, appetizers and such. Select what you want and it keeps a tally. When ready, place your order and it goes to the kitchen. Servers are on the ball and very helpful. Didn't take pictures but everyone was happy at our meal. Friend ordered chicken katsu kare with medium curry. Along with a small yellowtail sashimi dish and some pickled radishes and cucumbers. Other friend order some unagi hand rolls. I had the pork tonkatsu kare with medium spicy curry also. We shared a small bottle of cold sake. Everything was tasty. Will come back!“

“Very enjoyable visit. I spoke with one of the head chef Moe and he was very polite and helped me and my wife in deciding what sushi to get. He even recommended some Burmese dishes that were amazing. The environment was very welcoming and understanding of someone who had no prior knowledge to the food. Will definitely be coming back soon!“

“Hibiki’s decor is what really drew me in, along with their all-you-can-eat Wagyu yakiniku. I really enjoyed the meat selection, especially the chef’s special. The A5 Wagyu shabu shabu was definitely the highlight. You get to dip the thin wagyu slice in egg, which makes it incredibly rich and flavorful.

It started getting pretty packed around 7 PM. There’s a 90-minute dining limit, and kids under 3 feet eat free! They also have a membership program for $28 per year.“

“I think I tried this place once before and didn’t think too much of it, but decided to give it another shot recently—and I’m glad I did. I called in an order for the Pork Katsu Sando and the 2 Chicken Tenders with Fries box. Picked it up about 15 minutes later, all ready to go.

The pork katsu sandwich really hit the spot crispy, juicy, and just the right amount of fat to keep it moist and flavorful. Definitely the star of the meal. The chicken tenders were alright, nothing super memorable.

I’d definitely come back just for the sando. Might explore the rest of the menu next time.“

“I originally went next door to the pita to go place and after standing inside the dark restaurant for 7 minutes a rude guy came out and was so rude I wasn’t going to spend my hard earned money inside this establishment so I went next door to wasabi n roll “sushi “ and I’m so glad I did… I ordered the bento #1 beef and it was soooo amazing and what was even more amazing was the customer service and the cleanliness of this establishment. “Love this place just down the way from a HS. Gives the student a place to eat within walking distance and lovely to have a great ramen place locally. The food is always consistently delicious and the place is small, simple and clean. Easy to order, delicious food. The shoyu and tonkotsu ramen are so tasty and goes so well with their garlic paste. The spicy tuna bowl, spicy tuna on crispy rice and pork buns are alternatives to those who want less carb heavy bowls. A wonderful, local find in MPk.“
