Very chill, hole in the wall. The staff here are so attentive and offer great customer service atmosphere. Even when ordering to-go food taste just as amazing as dining in.

Kaijin sushi in San Gabriel is a very chill, hole in the wall spot with a comfortable atmosphere that displays Japanese culture. The staff is attentive and offers great customer service, even for to-go orders. The food is super delicious, with appetizers, soba, the ichiban roll, baked lobster California roll, and salmon lemon roll all being great. The sushi is some of the freshest, with buttery fish, perfectly cut pieces, and rice seasoned just right. The presentation is beautiful. The omakase was a little surprise, with the fatty tuna and seared salmon nigiri as standouts. Prices are fair for the quality. The place is well put together, and service does not rush. The prim sushi presentation looks delicious, and the tempura was done well. They have good kids options.
