“Went there because my friend was fasting from meat during Lent. We got two dishes, the eggplant tofu basil and veggie kungpau chicken. Both are tasty. We also ordered the almond soup dessert. We left happy with our selection.”
“The best Vietnamese Style Lobster and seafood! Always a long queue to be seated. Get here early for best parking and best seating.”
“The spicy soup ma la tang here is delicious. This is one the place that we will come back again. The host is amazing and always check in with us with our needs.
Will come back again! Love it”

“I stumbled across this restaurant with my dad randomly, and it quickly became a weekly stop. I like getting the rib and shank (+grilled) rice dish + extra grilled ribs. Texture and flavor is amazing. I brought my mom another time and she was surprised as to how authentic the rice was to the region this dish was from.
Highly recommended! It's a little pricey but absolutely worth it. I've been having trouble finding food my dad will eat so I'm incredibly grateful that my dad actually likes this place. The rice dish comes with lamb soup, pickled onions and carrots that are all refillable as well.”
“Authentic Japanese food! Fresh food and great service! There might be a wait during dinner times during the weekends and holidays but that’s expected. Absolutely great food!”
Restaurants with Delivery
“We came here for lunch on a Sunday and waited for 45 mins before being seated. There were only two women working the front dining room and since service was slow, table turnovers were slow too. So expect a wait but the food was very good.
We like that they have pictures on their menus. We ordered the dan dan noodles, the chong qing noodles (my favorite), the pork chop noodle, youpo noodle, and xiao long bao. All were good and portions were large.
I do like the spicy mala flavors and that's in quite a lot of their dishes. Mild still has a kick to it, fyi.
The parking lot is too small for the restaurants in shopping area as is common in a lot of Asian areas. But there are plenty of free street parking around.”
“Best lo mai gai I’ve had in San Gabriel!
The owner (?) was so kind and allowed us to come in just as it was about to close. Dishes were ready with zero wait time and we were not rushed at all. The tea was fragrant and strong, and the sticky rice was DELICIOUS! Ordered congee but were so full we couldn’t finish it, reheated it for dinner and was still great! Also a huge fan of the garlic spare ribs. Overall, I highly recommend this place and believe this business deserves to be supported and thriving based on the service and food.”
“Soooo good! This was my first time trying Blossom Market Hall, recommended by a friend, and i absolutely loved my experience here! My sister and I had Rolland sushi, it was the perfect meal! Delicious with the sweetest staff. We also had a great experience with the lovely woman at the bar, she made our night too! Bar prices are GREAT!
Can’t wait to come back and try more places.”
“Ever since some of my favorite restaurants have closed down, I have been looking for my next regular place to get some lamb and pita soup. After a long shift at the hospital, I Decided to give this place a try and it did not disappoint
Their lamb and pita soup is really delicious as well as their crispy, spice intestine and their cumin lamb burger
Their staff is friendly and the food comes out in a timely manner”
“I’ve been coming to sushi rolland for a while now, and I’d say, I’m pretty satisfied! I’ve been impressed by the freshness of the their fish, especially their salmon. I LOVE salmon, and their salmon is buttery and very good quality. For their price and quality, I’d say it’s definitely worth it. I’ve tried their salmon delight, crunch roll, dragon roll, blossom roll, salmon avocado combo, combo an and combo c. I tried out their new menu today, the salmon crunch, and I really liked it (apologies for the half eaten picture). Might be my new go to menu item. I really the fried onions on there. I always like getting their miso soup, such a good combination with the sushi. Highly recommend their combo plate, especially combo A!”
“One of my favorite restaurants in San Gabriel! They offer several all-you-can-eat options, including Hot Pot AYCE, Premium Hot Pot AYCE, BBQ AYCE, and their Luxury AYCE. My personal favorite is the Luxury AYCE, which includes both premium hot pot and BBQ skewers. This option is available for dinner only.
For hot pot, you can choose up to three broths and then order from a huge selection of meats, seafood, vegetables, and other hot pot items, along with Chinese BBQ skewers. Desserts are also included and available at the self-serve station. I usually grab the roll cakes. There’s a huge variety overall, so there’s something for everyone!
Parking is easy since there’s a parking lot, and the service is great. The servers are attentive and happy to answer any questions we have about the menu. Always a great experience here!”
“Every time I want some cold spicy buckwheat noodles with brisket, I like to come here. They make it perfect!! The flavor is perfect and authentic, not too spicy and their sides are delicious as well!! This is a great meal to have for brunch, lunch, or any time you feel like something cooler and healthy. Service is great, too. Hot and cold water is provided with the sides. It's the perfect meal without feeling heavy!! Dingjun P was my server and he made sure Ihad everything I needed. Great service!! 5 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Highly recommended!!”
“The front desk experience has been consistently frustrating.
The young lady there appears inattentive and unsure of the process. Even after joining the Yelp waitlist ahead of time, we're left standing without explanation for 5-10 minutes each visit until another staff member takes over and seats us.
The lack of coordination at the entrance gives the impression that no one is actually managing the line properly.
Fortunately, the rest of the staff are warm and professional, and the hot pot options are solid.”

“Great food and amazing service!
Parking is super easy since it’s located in a huge plaza.
I got here around 11:00 AM and waited in line for about 20 minutes. The line was mostly filled with older people speaking Cantonese, which told me right away that this place is super authentic!
The Beef Chow Fun is super flavorful and comes in a huge portion.
Their $12.99 breakfast combo is also a great deal with a huge portion—though it's pretty much pure carbs! And the best part is they still let you order it even after the breakfast hours.
You also get free refills on the Hong Kong style milk tea, and you can even take it to go for free. The iced version is the best, especially in the summer!
Unlike a lot of other places where the food is good but the service is terrible, the staff here is incredibly welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend!”
“My partner and I went to Blossom Market Hall to grab a coffee and couldn't help but be intrigued by the delicious smells coming from Ish's stand. We've been there a few times, but the first time we went, he had made a pumpkin scone that is absolutely one of the best pastries I've ever had. The texture was exactly how a scone is supposed to be: an initial crunch, but soft and pillowy on the inside, not hard and crumbly like many scones at other bakeries.
We have tried a total of 5-6 different items now, and every single one of them has been a delight to eat. None of his pastries are overly sweet, honoring the flavor of each, whether ube, pumpkin, or another. My only complaint is that he hasn't had the pumpkin scone the other times we've gone; it appears he changes up the menu day-to-day, which is great, but I've been really wanting that pumpkin scone again! If you are looking to indulge in a sweet treat but don't want to end up in a sugar coma, Ish's is the way to go, trust me.”
“I googled "best Chinese in LA" and then this popped up as the #1 place. So we drove - and had a very good meal. However, if you expect the classic Chinese dishes, you will be disappointed. This is Shezuan, "a different animal". So no rice, no sweet-and-sour-this-and-that. So be prepared for very spicy Szechuan food. Noodles. No rice. Try the dumplings, they were delicious. We ordered mild (1 out of 5 spice degrees) and we were burning inside (we had two separate orders of dumplings - but spice grade 1. There is no consistency, so be careful). So if spicy is what you are "in" for, you'll love it. The ambiance is sort of authentic ;-) - the sign on how to use the toilet (outside the restaurant in the alley) says more than words. But then, it was $100 all-in for the four of us only. My advice: I could barely understand the service language. Better check the menu before you go. As we were first-timers, I wanted to share three starters and three mains among the four of us and leave it up to the waitress to make us explore - she did not understand. I asked if they served beer. The answer was "noodles or dumplings". :-)”

“For a microbrewery this place is dope! Hospitable staff, delicious tasting brews, about 15+ options and a decent size capacity for indoor space (77 ppl) with an outdoor space that holds much more...this place is solid as a brewery. Definitely will be coming back 🙌🏾 Thank you, Reyes the Mayor for assisting my family and I!”
“This Taiyaki + Ice Cream place is at the level of other giants such as SomiSomi. The soft serve has a perfect texture (I tried the Pure Milk flavor with a Taiyaki on top, the Taiyaki being filled with Nutella), the service is quick and efficient, and the store was crowded when my two friends and I went on a Saturday evening. The ambiance is great too, there are so many pictures showing what the options are like, and there are clearly-illustrated menus spread throughout the restaurant. The toppings are available for the customers to grab and add to their ice cream as they wish, and everything, from the Oreo crumbs to the Banana chips are great. You can truly feel that every single item in this store is, indeed, made With Love.”
“Authentic Sichuan flavors, finally. The catering worked out really well for a small gathering, big bold heat but not just spicy for no reason. Mapo tofu had that deep numbing kick, veggies still had some crunch. Friendly, low‑key communication, everything on time, no fuss.”
“Absolutely the most beautiful fine dining Chinese restaurant in Los Angeles! It is very modern in design.. the ambience is very elegant..which is so different from the outside.. located in a mediocre location in a boring small shopping mall. It was a turn off for me and that was why it took me so long to go there. Food was also delicious.. it is more expensive and perhaps that is why is fine dining.. perfect for a special date!”
“Authentic Sichuan cold pot fish with bold flavors and generous portions. The fish was tender, spicy, and delicious. Liangfen and braised platter were also great. Perfect spot in SGV for spicy food lovers!”

“Came here to try a new Thai spot after going to President Thai down the street for years and wanting something different. We ordered from the dinner menu, which comes with soup or salad, egg rolls or wontons, and white rice or shrimp fried rice, a great value.
I got the chicken pad Thai and everything was so flavorful and delicious. My boyfriend ordered the yellow curry and it was absolutely amazing, rich and creamy with a coconut base that honestly reminded me of my mom’s Vietnamese curry.
The owner was also incredibly kind and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. Such a welcoming experience. We’ll definitely be back soon!”
“Visited in 2021 without a reservation and was luckily seated at the bar. The bartender was very hospitable. 13-course is a lot, but it's nice that you can eat at your own pace and the lemonade with alc-free beer combo beats the fattiness of wagyu(it does literally melt in your mouth.)”
“The Pozole was very good, but you don't have much say in what you get because they have the portions already premade. The chips were good and the soup was very yummy. Not the nicest place and parking isn't that great, but the service was excellent and the cook is really kind and likes to joke around, so you might get a dad joke.”
“First time dining here and had a great experience. The steamed chicken was tender and moist but my favorite was the flavorful grilled chicken. It was well seasoned and not overcooked. The stir fried Ong Choy veggies were the best I've had in awhile. Very reasonable prices. Excited to come back and try more dishes.”
“The Northeastern flavor of braised delicacies, my husband and I packed a lot and took them back to the San Francisco Bay Area. I just got home and ate Harbin red sausage and smoked chicken rack. The taste is exactly the same as what is sold in our hometown in Shenyang. Why is it not available in the Bay Area? The red sausage meat is moderately salty and has a light garlic aroma, which is so rare. The same goes for the smoked chicken rack, which is not salty and has a full flavor of five-spice smoke. I'm looking forward to bringing back the pork head meat, because pork head meat is difficult to cook and requires a lot of effort to shave off the hair. I heard that the two owners are both from Shenyang. I hope that a store like this can be opened in Los Angeles for a long time, because the Chinese restaurants in Los Angeles are really bad. If this store opened in the Bay Area, it would kill other stores in a matter of seconds.”
“I had a great experience here! The ingredients were fresh, and the hot pot broth was rich and flavorful. There were plenty of options to choose from, and everything tasted delicious. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect for a family dinner. We will definitely come back again!”
“Great experience at Tea Maru yesterday. Found out about it through Groupon, and appreciate the fact that they make their own boba in house.
Important note: Mango Boba is only on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!
I got the Mango Slush with Strawberry Boba, which featured a nice layer of ice cream, mango slush (at 25% sweet), and delicious homemade boba. The place is small, mostly built for takeout but there are a few decent seats. Song selection immaculate.”
“I love eating at northern cafe, their spicy cold tribe n hot n spicy noodles is delicious, but the service lady with glasses here is bad she have this bad attitude when we trying to order but whatever not coming back to this location, the Monterey Park location is very nice..”

“Our fav Shanghai place to eat, best Suanlatang, xiaolongbao, Shanghai baozi. Very nice staff and the cook is so friendly. Small town feel at this spot. We have been coming here for many years.”
“Food 4/5 - Ordered typical dim sum, everything tasted good and was nice and hot (except egg tarts). Siu-mai was delicious, good size packed with lots of pork (soft with no chewiness). Shrimp in har-gow is good size and cooked perfect (nice bounce texture). Shrimp/leek dumplings have soft skin with good filling portion. Turnip cake has nice char on the outside and soft inside. Rice noodles are very soft. Sponge cake is soft and moist. Egg tarts were definitely baked earlier in the morning as it wasn’t warm, crust could be more flaky but it’s fine. Squid w/ black bean sauce, the squid wasn’t stir-fried long enough to absorb any flavor. Poached chicken was fine.
Service 5/5 - Service is good, servers pass by consistently to pick up empty dishes and refill the tea pot without flagging someone down.
Atmosphere 4/5 - Interior is good with Chinese themed decor.
Overall - Had a pleasant experience and would visit again.”

“This place is now owned by a couple who is very nice and honest to customers. They make great chicken deli takeout and chili pepper and garlic paste which I never tasted or even knew both before!
Bouncy chicken skin and flesh and even savory bones... Chicken savory is given back to chicken to the most by pretty simple ingredients which I only tasted salt...
However the specialty Beef rice noodle didn't meet my suppose I'd like to try braised beef rice noodles and zongzi takeout next time”
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My husband and I stopped by for a little date night, and what we witnessed was truly greatness in motion.
They were clearly understaffed — only one person working the front counter and drive-thru at the same time, and one cook in the back preparing orders and stepping in to assist when needed. Despite that, both of them remained calm, professional, and incredibly friendly.
There was no frustration, no attitude — just focus, teamwork, and grace under pressure. You could see how hard they were working, yet they still made us feel welcomed and valued.
They even brought our food to our table, which we didn’t expect at all. That level of service, especially while short-staffed, really stood out to us.
Five stars for professionalism, composure, and dedication. We truly appreciated the experience.”

“The stir-fried river snails (超螺狮) here are hands down the best I’ve ever had—no contest. If you enjoy this dish, you absolutely have to try it. It’s incredibly flavorful and genuinely addictive.”
“the food here is always so good! i get their mulnemion (cold noodles) and their korean bqq combo since eating those together always tastes the best. i suggest coming on weekday lunch time since it gets quite bust during the night. the servers are always attentive and nice, i have loved being a regular here!”

Great service!! 5 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Highly recommended!!”
“Back in October, my friends and I spent a month vacation in Vietnam and we were introduced to Com Tam. We wanted to see if King Com Tam Vietnamese Restaurant is as authentic as we had in Vietnam.
Com tam - Vietnamese broken rice is rice that was broken during the milling process. If you're unfamiliar, broken rice has a couscous-like texture. The broken rice plate options might seem extensive, but it's just rice with various combinations of pork chop, beef, pork, fried bean curd with shrimp paste, egg roll, sausage, shredded pork and skin, and steamed egg loaf. All served with veggies, a small bowl of broth, and fish dipping sauce. The plates run from $12.99 to $20.99 for the 10-item plate. If you don't see exactly the plate combination you're looking for, you can just tell the waiter which items you want and they'll charge accordingly. Just ask if you can swap items.
Not Vietnam authentic, but then again I am no expert but definitely satisfied our cravings and brought back memories of our month long trip. We loved it so much that a month ago during the rainy weather that we went back so we can try the noodle soup/pho. The portions were generous for around $13.99 a bowl. I was craving Bun bo Hue, Vietnamese spicy beef noodle soup and my friends ordered beef pho and hu tieu, a Vietnamese Phnom Penh-style seafood noodle soup with pork and shrimp. It was good but I've had better.
Service was good. The ambiance and presentation is spot on.”
“Was around the area so decided to grab lunch and it wasn't as great as before. We ordered the seafood egg noodle and seafood white noodle, both lacked flavor. I had to add satay sauce to make it taste a bit better. The ice water glasses were dirty as well. I don't know if it's under new owners or new chefs but it wasn't that great. Good thing it was a cheap lunch.”
“I grew up in SF and I remember my parents always bringing home dim sum back to family who do not travel. But now I’m grown and I have to bring stuff back to family who do not travel anymore and now I’m more regularly in SoCal but I think I’ve found my go to place. The cha sui baos, sesame balls, the shrimps/chives dumplings, the fried stuff rice balls with pork were so good. Price was very fair. My family all enjoyed the dumplings and baos. I will be back here again.”
“The place is known for broken rice and with the long lines outside, you know it's got to be good. The staff here is quick and we got our soup within 5 mins and not too long afterwards, we got our food. The food tasted fresh and we look forward to coming back. They have parking in the front and back and they look to expand into another store front soon.”
“Found this place on TT! I got the lemongrass beef, with shrimp rolls, and shrimp cake! SO good!!!! So fresh, and a big portion too. The shrimp cake was the best I’ve ever had. Juicy and succulent with a nice crisp on the outside. Devin the owner is very nice too. It is nice to see an owner with passion for their business and food. The people next to me got the salmon belly and shrimp cake rolls. I will definitely be getting that next time. They also serve beer, wine, and sake which is nice too. Can’t wait for this to be my summer spot when its hot outside and need refreshing rolls and drinks!!”
“Some of the best dim sum I've had in recent memory. Standard canto style service (don't expect western service) but the ladies were friendly and helpful enough”

“Best Honey Green tea in all Southern CA. Actually, better than the ones in Taiwan. They spare no cost in using only the best quality tea and ingredients. Once you tried theirs, you can’t go to other places anymore. Many of their bread like the red bean bun is a must try and the birthday cakes are always freshly made daily and not too sweet. They also have full sheet part tray fruit cake that are cut into 96 slices, best for large parties or events. Highly underrated and a hidden gem!”
“I've dined at Golden Leaf a couple of times in the last year. The Taiwanese food is excellent across the entire menu. I only wish there was a location in San Diego where I live. You can really tell that the owner & staff put a lot into making authentic Taiwanese dishes and its really appreciated.”
“I’ve been meaning to post but kept forgetting. This place really does make the best cakes. I got a chocolate cake with half strawberry and half banana. Everyone at the party said it was SO good. Not too sweet. Typically I hate frosting but they make it perfectly soft and not too sweet! I showed them pictures of the rainbow frosting look I wanted and they recreated it perfectly too! I added the decorations on top myself. Highly recommend Fortune Bakery!”

“Omg, hands down the best tacos in the 626. And trust me, I’ve had my fair share from TJ Tacos to Tacos El Gordo in San Diego and even Taco El Franc. This spot is legit. The line every night says it all.
This time, I ordered the baked potato with cheese and lengua (tongue). Absolute perfection. They serve it with handmade corn tortillas that take everything to another level. The meats here are packed with flavor. My usual go-tos are the al pastor, cabeza (cow’s head meat), and tripas (beef intestine). Next visit, I’m eyeing the sausages, stomach, and carne asada.
And their salsa? To die for. It’s fresh, spicy, and ties everything together perfectly.
The team here is friendly and clearly takes pride in what they do. You can taste the care in every bite.
They’re parked right on San Gabriel Blvd with a solid setup. The ambiance is just right, and honestly, the only thing missing is some outdoor dining space.
Parking is free and easy on the street.”
“Very nice small restaurant selling specialty noodles and some side items. The potato noodles have a firmer texture, kinda like soba, the soup was delicious. Chicken bone was also very good. There was an old couple working there, very friendly. Price was reasonable, highest it goes was $13 for the house special noodle. Overall a great place to try something new and unique.”
“the food here is always so good! i get their mulnemion (cold noodles) and their korean bqq combo since eating those together always tastes the best. i suggest coming on weekday lunch time since it gets quite bust during the night. the servers are always attentive and nice, i have loved being a regular here!”
“The meal I had here was simply delicious! The chicken was tender , the steak was juicy , the humus savory , everything was great and I learned that all Baklava’s are not created equally . This Baklava is top tier! Definitely recommend and will eat here again.”
“Hidden hot pot gem – $33.88 AYCE and actually good
This place has been around for over a decade, right by the TAWA plaza.
We got there right when they opened in the afternoon, and the place filled up almost instantly. Most people seemed like regulars.
$33.88 gets you AYCE hot pot + a buffet station + sauces. Same price on weekends, and they don't charge extra for broth. The soup base is surprisingly good – has that nourishing, slightly herbal vibe. Reminded me of the old Little Sheep.
Plenty of options. Lamb and beef are a must – fresh. The pork intestine gets super soft and sticky after a quick boil – I wanted a second plate. The buffet had sesame balls, spring rolls, piggy buns, fries, edamame… the cha siu bao actually tasted like dim sum from a cart.
We also ordered scallion pancake on the side – super crispy. Almost asked for another one to take home.
Service speed is probably the fastest I've seen for AYCE. Food comes quick. Open till midnight – great for late-night cravings. And if you're staying at the Hilton? Literally across the street.”

“You can’t beat the price! Affordable and pretty good quality for the price you pay.
Favorite- passion fruit green tea with tea jelly and most of their fruit teas cost under 5$.
You can add a few toppings for free which includes- tea jelly, coffee jelly, boba pearls and pudding. Very popular so be prepared to wait in a line to place an order but the service otherwise quick.”
“I went to this place in San Gabriel a lot of times for eating their noodles. I really like their soup base, it is very delicious. The noodles in one order is a lot so you can totally become full after eating one bowl. Ludingji has opened for so many years in LA and their reputation is always good. Their price is reasonable as well. Highly recommend to go and try!”
“Recommended to us by a local restaurant owner, we took a drive over to try them out. They have an amazing fresh fruit selection (including persimmon, which I hadn’t seen before) like strawberry and watermelon (which is one of my favorites).
We like them so much we’ve made the 20 minute drive several times already during our short stay. The drinks seem to run a little sweet so I make the less sugar option. They seem to automatically add a jelly to the drink (at least the several we’ve ordered).
Overall this place is great and highly recommended”
“If you are craving for an authentic Vietnamese food that won’t break bank look no further. Join me in this new adventure.
Saigon Flavor is a tiny hidden gem in SGV. They have extensive menu, featuring Vietnamese classics such as pho, rice dishes, banh mi, bun, beef stew, grilled pork, porridge, curry, vegetarian options and more. Furthermore, one thing that is noticeable they do not offer chicken in their entire menu. That is a demerit in my opinion.
I have drove past by this spot for years but never had the chance until now. I guess I want some new food adventure. I had a grilled Shrimp vermicelli (since they don’t have grilled Chicken) and Iced French Coffee x condensed milk. Both were good. Staff were affable and patient. Service was bloody spot on. Prices are competitive. Serving was modest. Atmosphere was quite relaxing.
Overall, I had a nice and modest Lunch meal.”
“Pretty standard 85° competitor but I found this spot before 85° at the Arcadia mall and really enjoyed their pastries! For some reason, I feel like it's a little less memorable and maybe slightly lower quality than I remember but still pretty good for a quick pastry or slice of cake.”
“BEST BURRITO IVE EVER HAD! Wow. Seriously. It takes a lot for me to leave a review. But I'm sitting here eating this burrito and it is probably the best burrito I've ever had. Perfect size (long not overly thick like some places do where every bite is hard to take) taste is spot on. The a la cart options out front allow me to add my toppings to each bite as I want. And this yellow sauce is PERFECT HEAT and FLAVOR. A+ GUYS.”
“I went to Xiaomei this morning to buy a takeout with three dishes and one soup, and then went to the nearby Great China Supermarket to buy some vegetables. I took out Xiaomei and retrieved my eight yuan and seventy cents, wrapped in Xiaomei. In my receipt, the lady at the Greater China counter refused to accept one of the $5 bills, saying it was a counterfeit bill. If it were normal, forget it, it would be a trivial matter. But then I thought again, I have been swallowing my anger all my life, and I am brave this time. I am not deceiving or intentionally blackmailing Xiaomei. As a result, the money was returned, but the words spoken to each other were not very kind. I went home and reflected on my words and deeds. I am a Buddhist, and I felt sad that I did not meet the standards required by gods and Buddhas. I am a new customer of Xiaomei. I was introduced by a friend. To be honest, Xiaomei’s food is indeed of high quality and low price. I should be more grateful. So I would like to apologize to Xiaomei!”
“Place is awesome!! Our waiter Peter gave us some great recommendations, made us feel really welcomed and remembered us on our second visit a month later. Great neighborhood “goto” place a good meal and drinks!!”
“Popped in because its always time for meat. Loved tge atmosphere, and the language lessons in the bathroom. The food was great. The only downside was lack of my favorite banchan and the high prices of solutions. I'll be back.
With my own bottles. ;)”

“Went to Floor & Decor to look for some tile flooring and had the best experience! The customer service was amazing. One employee Oscar F. went above and beyond to help us find what we needed for our house project. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained with great detail the types of flooring for indoor and outdoor projects. Highly recommend asking for Oscar F. if you ever go there.”
“I spoke tonight to the guy in charge paolo such a nice gentleman. I’m filling a complaint against David the manager. Treats his employees so bad he disrespects them in front of customers. What kinds of business is this. He shouldn’t be in charge in fact he should be under supervision.”

“February 2024 - Delicious pizza and generous dinners enough to share on an impromptu date! Salad is crisp and fresh, amazing ingredients and terrific service. Background music creates a memorable atmosphere for family dinners too.
Update February 2026
Still a favorite on rotation for us. We shared a fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and a classic salad. Service is amazing despite how busy Petrillo's was for early Saturday dinner.
Daisy was out waitress, she checked in on us several times through our visit. She marveled us with this sweet surprise at the end of our dinner, a chocolate ice cream truffle. Rich like See's Candy, definitely a reason to return! Service is always top notch!!!”
“This spot is a must try! Really enjoyed their purple rice roll. Its all the hype and rightfully so. Get the fried donut extra crispy, add green onion pancake and brown sugar with their sasuage. That made it so so good. I also really enjoyed their beef roll with green onion pancake as it was packed full of flavor!”
“Great find in San Gabriel!
3CAT Handcrafted Bev has a cool, modern vibe and a solid menu of creative drinks. The flavors are fresh, not overly sweet, and you can really tell they use quality ingredients. Service was friendly and efficient, even during a busy hour. The shop itself is clean and nicely designed — a good place to hang out or grab something to go.
Only reason it’s not a full five stars is the wait time was a bit longer than expected, but overall definitely worth it. I’ll be back to try a few more drinks next time!”
“I had a great experience here! The ingredients were fresh, and the hot pot broth was rich and flavorful. There were plenty of options to choose from, and everything tasted delicious. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect for a family dinner. We will definitely come back again!”
“Pretty standard 85° competitor but I found this spot before 85° at the Arcadia mall and really enjoyed their pastries! For some reason, I feel like it's a little less memorable and maybe slightly lower quality than I remember but still pretty good for a quick pastry or slice of cake.”
New Restaurants
“We ordered the sauerkraut fish and the portion size was huge. It was more than enough for two people, and we still had a lot of leftovers to take home. The flavor was really good--savory, tangy, and comforting without being overwhelming.
We also tried the quail eggs, which were battered and fried. They were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and honestly super tasty. Perfect little bite-sized snacks.
Overall, great portions, solid flavors, and definitely worth it if you're hungry or want leftovers for later. Would come back again!”
“One of my wife’s favorite place to get brunch. Reliably fresh, tasty, and good value for the money. I usually order the pork burger combo. Try to come earlier as it starts getting busy after 11 on the weekend. There’s underground parking if the outdoor parking fills up.”
“Love the 開心果米麻糬,木薯粒&桃膠!I’d say I’ve tried most of the popular boba shops in SGV (ici/3CAT/motto/molly tea/cha redefine) and I can say this place’s the toppings is my current favorite. They are not too sweet or creamy and is hand made. This is def my new go to place for chewy and fresh toppings!!!”
“The noodles are good, but a little bland. The owner explained that they under spice it due to customer complaints, but has extra on the side so you can add however much you need. But the bigger issue is the pepper themselves aren't quite authentic enough, it's a little muddy in flavor and doesn't cut through the fat flavor profile, so it's a bit mid. Over all an easy B+ or A-. Pricing is a little high (maybe a buck or so cheaper is more appropriate, considering the portion size) but acceptable.”
“I have tried many roujiamos at many places around LA and the one i had here was the best by far. In addition i had the liangpi which was also good. Sometimes at night i dream about going to this restaurant again and in my dream, im trying the other things on the menu. The owner is also the kindest person!”
“Last night I tried the pork cartilage rice combo, and it was a pleasant surprise. The pork was tender and juicy, and the portion size was very reasonable. They also have a great variety of classic Asian dishes—I’m excited to come back and try more. Glad I found this spot!”
“Hibiki’s decor is what really drew me in, along with their all-you-can-eat Wagyu yakiniku. I really enjoyed the meat selection, especially the chef’s special. The A5 Wagyu shabu shabu was definitely the highlight. You get to dip the thin wagyu slice in egg, which makes it incredibly rich and flavorful.
It started getting pretty packed around 7 PM. There’s a 90-minute dining limit, and kids under 3 feet eat free! They also have a membership program for $28 per year.”
“Almuchow boasts of offering “Filipino comfort food” in Blossom Market Hall - and they have all the Filipino comfort staples on the menu such as chicken adobo, various versions of Pansit, and of course lumpia!
Since I adore lumpia I couldn’t resist grabbing an order - and I was not disappointed. Definitely a solid choice for lumpia in the area (it’s called Lumpiang Shanghai on their menu). The pieces are small but quantity is more than ample. And they come with a sweet/sour sauce.
The lumpia were nice and crisp on the outside and smooth on the inside with great flavor and not greasy. We also tried to order some chicken adobo but they were sold out - will have to try and catch it again next time bc it looks great.
Prices are reasonable and service was efficient and pleasant. We were a little bothered by the fact that the cook and other food handlers weren’t wearing gloves and were touching their faces and the money while also handling food - we almost didn’t order there bc of it but gave it a shot anyway lol. Otherwise everything was great.
Almuchow is towards the back of the market hall. Order at the counter and they’ll give you a buzzer. The vibe are lively and inviting with lots of seating options and promising dessert choices once you’ve finished your dinner. There’s plenty of free parking on site.”
“I stopped by this taco truck after my usual taco stand wasn’t open—and I’m glad I gave it a try. I ordered the buche, carnitas, pastor, and cabeza tacos. The carnitas and cabeza were the best—juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right.
I also had the carne asada fries, which were hearty and satisfying. The guacamole in the carne asada fries is seriously addictive, and their salsa, along with the pickled jalapeños and red onions, added a fresh, tangy kick.
At $2.50 per taco, the prices are reasonable for the quality. I’ll definitely be coming back.
If my photos look half eaten, it's because I forgot to take pictures first”
“New spot in SGV! Came back a few times now to try different things. Everything has actually been pretty good, so I thought it was worth a review. Personal fav is the Purple taro cheese slush! First taro drink I've tried with actual taro bits in it. Bomb! Also recommend the Superfruit Cup if you want something fruity. Very refreshing and has real chunks of fruit in it.
Overall the drinks are really tasty and made with quality ingredients compared to other spots that mostly just use syrup and flavoring. Definitely curious to try all the other stuff on their menu. Plenty of parking in the lot too which is a big plus!”
