“This place is amazing. My friend made reservations for us about a month in advance. We were seated right away. We had the options of either seafood or beef menu. We choose the beef menu. This is my first dining experience so I was looking forward to everything. This was a unique 12 course experience and the staff here did an amazing job. Every item that came out was very good. Tucked inside a hotel you wouldn't know about this place but I am glad my friend found it. We now made it a yearly thing to come back here and have dinner here now”
“I came here because of the reputation and finally tasted La Meijia’s beef noodles. It was so traditional and authentic, and tasted like my hometown. I was so happy?????”
“It’s SUPER delicious!!!!❤️I am originally from Chengdu, away from hometown for 3 years, this hotpot and Chuanchuan really makes me feel home! I heard from the lady boss that the chef is an old hotpot master in his eighties, it’s really authentic!I even brought the soup home for cooking?? There is no one else who packs hot pot base ingredients?Great service!Totally recommend!”

“2023.09.16 \First visit/Originally, I wasn’t very interested in eating noodles in LA, but Flavor Noodles changed my mind. This time I ordered fatty beef noodles in sour soup, Sichuan style fat intestine noodles, and red oil noodles. I can’t choose which one is more delicious, I like them both! Looking forward to ordering something else on my next visit that I didn't have the stomach for this time.2024.01.09\Second interview/I finally had the opportunity to visit for a second time, but today I was a bit disappointed. I ordered beef noodles with raw pepper, Sichuan-style fat intestine noodles, and red oil noodles. The Chao Shou was more delicious than the last time I had it, but the taste of both bowls of noodles was a bit bland. Last time the sausage was very full, but today it looks thin. The beef noodles with raw pepper are quite spicy. Will be willing to visit again to see if today was just an anomaly, but will order back the beef noodles in sour soup next time.Recommended: Fatty Beef Noodles in Sour Soup”
“Delicious food, very good price! They have lunch special everyday including weekends.Lunch specials come with soup/salad & desserts (price range $10.99-$13.99!!)Very friendly service too!”

“Great seafood food in SGV. The lobster dish is always good. The squid was not so good this time. The deep fried fish is actually previously frozen. I do like the fact we can make reservations on yelp so we can get private room.”
“What a great dinner. Tony was our server. He was exceptional. Everything was tasty. There was so much food. Will come back next time I'm back in Pasadena.”
“All the dishes are sweet and can make you feel greasy after eating too much. The crab noodle soup dumplings are not that delicious either. The first bite is not bad. Anyway, it’s quite satisfactory.”

“This place used to serve Dalian cuisine, but in the past two years it has changed to Hong Kong dim sum, which is really good. My two daughters love coming here to eat. There are not many dishes, but they are all delicious. Every time, I must order preserved egg and lean meat porridge, chicken feet, sesame balls, fresh meat rice rolls, and barbecued pork rice rolls. It's available for takeout, but it's still fresh and delicious. David is very friendly. It has the fireworks of Guangdong and Hong Kong, as well as American hospitality. I hope to become a long-established store and keep it open.”
“Lots of food/drink/dessert choices in the buildingVegetarian options: The restaurants have some decent vegetarian choicesParking: Parking lot behind buildingKid-friendliness: They will totally want to try all the dessert and drinksWheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair elevator near front entrance”
“I have been to this restaurant numerous times, and the food is amazing. Being from the Caribbean, it is hard to sometimes find authentic food, and this place hits the nail. It is also very affordable, and the servings are more than enough, which is a big plus.”
“This is a large deli, market with a case of great options of set treats. There were so many options of sauces in jars and refrigerated ones. I bought house made meat sauce and white sauce. The deli had sandwiches and hot food. I'll have to come back and try.”
“I've eaten here multiple times and the food has always been stellar - if I could rate higher than 5* I would. I particularly love the 然面 and 担担面 but you truly can't go wrong here. Just don't forget to mix your noodles 18 times! Truly one of my favourite spots in SGV and a place I'll continue to visit ”
“Read about this place in the paper. Bae and I are always saying things like "we should explore the culinary delights of the sgv" but are often intimidated because we don't speak Chinese and have little familiarity with the cuisine beyond the white people Chinese restaurants of our respective coasts (she east, me west). We ordered from the internet even though we were there because we had our dog with us. The noodles were extremely, extremely good, the other ingredients (beef, chicken, veggies) were pretty standard. If i was to return I just get noodles straight up, I feel like the other stuff just distracts from the main event. Bae couldn't eat hers because she comes from a place (new england) where people say stuff is too spicy because there is PEPPER in the dish. Like, the pepper you have at your house. I cooked a dish with pepper once and her mom wouldn't eat it for that reason. Also the service was good, they actually called us because they were out of something we ordered and wanted to make sure they gave us a refund or something else.Unless you are a monster two people can split one dish here, any dish. If you order more than one dish per two people left overs are a given. Also, we drove around for an hour before we got home and the food was still warm.Vegetarian options: Noodles! Tofu!Dietary restrictions: Gluten!Parking: Free lot in the shopping plaza but lots of venerable people entering and exiting so be careful. Free street parking out front.Kid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes”
“Quick and fast taco stands. Now they support the credit card payment. Eric is welcoming and serves the neighborhood very well until the midnight. The protein of stewed pork and the al pastor is nice while I hope they could use corn tortillas instead of the flour ones.”
“Honestly, was amazed at how good the sushi / sashimi was at this place. Didn't expect it from a food hall. WAY better quality tasting food than a more legit mid-level sushi places. Highly recommend coming here just for this. We got another roll to go because it was so good.”
“"QQ's tea tastes so good." It's true that all the long names from Taiwan are imported, but fortunately they are all written normally in English??—⚠️You can’t taste it on site at this restaurant. Make no mistake.Ah, I suggest that it would be better to number the menu??️?Mi Ke Xia is coming soon ”

“My former colleague from Daycare job and I met up here to dine in on Dec/5/23 on my day off. What delish treats these Korean Rice Plates are!!!! Customer service was topnotch and right off the bat when we were having a hard time deciding if we wanted to fetch their Holiday Korean Dumpling deal at $29.99 for a frozen bag and 4 packs of mixed and matched dumplings. I had to get me a set so my mom and I can reduce cooking time this holiday month of Dec/23. Anyways, I ordered their Korean Rice (Beef) plate to go, and that was huge and delish, good enough for 2 meals. I was only able to chow down half of it. This was our first time here, and we both had a fabulous time here. We will meet back here again next time visiting 'Manduyo,' Authentic Korean Cuisine. Even your side salad dish that was included in the plate was all fresh: there was nothing bitter from any piece of salad veggies I ate. I'll be back on my next shift!!!!W2G, 'Manduyo,' of San Gabriel, CA. You had me at Hello.”
“ICI is my favorite fruit tea place in SGV! Their persimmon slushy is my fav! Sadly, it is a seasonal drink. The worker said it should be coming back toward the yearend. Their coconut mango drink is also good and a must-try. 10/10 recommend.”
“One of my favorites! Kiosks makes ordering accurate and fast. Consistent quality and a good price. Some seating inside, but more outside in courtyard area. Lots of good restaurants surrounding this.”

“Currently my number 1 dim sum joint beating out Lunasia marginally. Excellent food and has some unique dishes. They tried to make the place look nice but you see what it is. Regardless food trumps all and it’s clean. Let’s see who can topple them!”

“It was my first time here today, but I have been wanting to come here for a while. Great food and great service.I'm definitely coming back to try all their sandwiches.”
“This place is such a hole in a wall, and would definitely come back. I was here literally last week and been thinking about coming back all week this week! The place is like everyone said, half grocery (international market, mostly indian goods), and half restaurant. I mean hey some people can make a business model after it, full respect. The quality of their food doesn't decrease just because its half and half, in fact, this place have the best indian food I have had thus far! There is bollywood music video playing on the TV, you are served with kindness by the staff there, and also attentativeness. The staff are great at recommending things, but they are also great salesmen - as in they would point at things asking if you want to order - lol.I ordered the garlic cheese naan, which was delicious. The tikki masala lambm which melted in my mouth. The rice was okay, but I haven't been too enthused about rice as of late, so it might just be a personal preference thing.Their mango lassi is okay, but food was really great! The parking lot is huge, free parking and shared with the other stores in the plaza.I would come back! Bring your wallet as its not the cheapest, but also bring your appetite.”
“Would 100% recommend if anyone is craving an Asada Burrito or Fish Taco. Make sure to ask for their salsa; it's not handed out by default. Fish taco comes with sour cream sauce and it's own pico. Definitely fan. I make it a point to grab lunch here on WFH daysParking: A few parking spaces behind and on the street.”
“I had the most delicious pastries here. The pies are insane. As are the buns and muffins . Sure it's a bit pricey but this is a small business that needs major volume to drop prices. Ish is amazing and passionate about his treats - it really shows!! loves it.”
“I waited five years to try this place once I had heard that Wong Fu opened it, and the wait was worth it. The Taiwanese spicy chicken sandwich blew my mind and my spirit, and the quality of the tapioca was amazing. I don’t even live here, but I will be coming back soon.”
“They are known for their 譚仔阿姐 with her infamously quirky-accented Cantonese, and if you're expecting that, sorry! Service was nice though, just a little rough around the edges with some of the staff. Still not bad, and still professional.Food is decently priced, and not bad. Didn't disappoint at all! I'm glad I tried their house noodles they're famous for ?. The 魚蛋 (fish ball) is not shaped like a ball, more like they just scooped it and then made it in that shape without balling it up, but that's OK! Actually makes it easier to pick up with chopsticks ?. After finishing halfway through, I thought the toppings:noodle ratio was good, but was afraid the soup ratio to both might have been lacking. But really, the shape of the bowl is much deeper than you think. In the end, the Noodle:Topping:Broth ratio was actually PERFECT ?!My friend had the 雙拼湯麵 (Two-Topping Soup Noodles) with 雲吞 (Wonton) & 牛腩( Beef Plate), which is normally my go-to. He's not a thin noodles guy, but he thought it was flavorful. Plus, the noodles were springy!Their 蝦腸粉 (Shrimp Rice Rolls) looked a little messy, but was really good! Sauce was savory, slightly sweet, and the rice rolls themselves were really smooth! Wrinkly and folded up, yes, but it's the softest and smoothest I've had in a while.咖央西多士 (Kaya Toast) was interesting! If you're wondering what Kaya is, it's coconut jam. Admittedly though, the spread inside was a bit too thin for me. I would've liked a more liberal lathering of that Kaya. Otherwise, the cut of the thick bread ? all toasted up with egg batter around was OK. I wonder how it would've been if they soaked that bread in milk ahead of time though... ? Still worth ordering! Oh, and they bring out a thing of 蜜糖honey ? for it, but I'd rather pour the 煉奶 condensed milk over it, that's intended for the 奶茶 (milk tea).Which leads me to the segue into 奶茶. A little tame. Not heavy on the flavor. Really needed the condensed milk to give it some. But a good milk tea should have that nice Assam Tea smell to it. Although, not a lot of good milk tea places around the area, so what's given here is about par average.Parking: Parking used to be easy here, despite the weird design of the lot, which has more parking on the bottom. But then, the restaurant options got better, and holy mackerel! It got SUPER tight! Navigating here is no joke! People are trying to come in and out, you don't know whose coming from where, or how to fit.”
“Excellent food! A wonderful family run restaurant. My whole family goes crazy for their crab Rangoon and shrimp and veggie tempura. The golden shrimp dumpling curry is also amazing. They just expanded the menu, very excited to try more dishes. Have never been disappointed, and very friendly staff and owners!Vegetarian options: Lots of dishes can be made with tofu”
“Food: The food here was spot on! I thought this place wouldn't be that good, but once you try out these food items. It's like your tastebuds are in heaven. OMGGG. I would definitely recommend the Breakfast Sampler and the Omelette because these are one of the Customer Favorites here in Starlight Cafe, SG. The drink I ordered was an Iced Latte and it was just a little too strong for me. But the main attraction for me was the food and I'll give it a 5/5. Service: Staff was nice, helpful and welcoming. Thank you to the chefs who cooked our meal. The presentation was very beautiful. Almost like a Fine Dining Restaurant. Ambiance: Felt like a futuristic cafe once you enter through the doors of the because of the perfect lighting. Great place to hang and have a bite with your friends and/or family. Parking: Parking is a little weird and bad because the way the Markers are on the parking is slanted and you think that there is a way out on the other side but no... you have to back up and exit out. So far, that is the only downside for this Starlight Cafe. But overall experience was AMAZING! Thank you.”
“I'M GONNA KEEP EATING CAKE, UNTIL I CANT FIT IN MY COWGIRL BOOTS!!!Good Lord, I can't believe I've never heard of this bakery!!!My husbands family was having a small 83rd birthday party for his uncle. His aunt showed up with a couple of boxes filled with 12 slices of various sins (see photos)!!! They were delicious! I was feeling guilty for giving in and partaking in consumption of one of these sins (Blue & Black Berry Cake). It was worth EVERY CALORIE!! As a matter of fact, I believe eating this slice is giving my family and friends a gift, by giving them more of me to love! Also if the saying "You are what you eat" is true, then I'm becoming pure sweetness! YOU'RE WELCOME, FAMILY AND FRIENDS!Can’t wait to visit the Chino Hills Location! It’s near my office!!!”
“Such a relaxing, lived-in, homey Hong Kong coffee shop. The owner asked me about my coffee tastes, recommended a fruity Ethiopian medium roast pour over, talked about the tradeoffs of siphoned coffee, French press, etc, and recommended his freshly baked croissants as particularly good today. Soothing classical guitar music, endearing hand-written signs, and idiosyncrasies of the owners as decor are all such a stark and lovely contrast to the sterile and corporate coffee shops everywhere in LA. If you want something different than that, try Fresh Roast on San Gabriel.”
“Randomly stumbled across this shop in the evening and was surprised to see such a beautiful theme. The osmanthus golden oolong was fantastic. Would go again next time I am in the ”
“Walked in because I was in the mood for some tea and the man in the front helped me decide on which tea to pick. He was super friendly and kind. Their teas are very refreshing and tasty!”
“One of my favorites! Kiosks makes ordering accurate and fast. Consistent quality and a good price. Some seating inside, but more outside in courtyard area. Lots of good restaurants surrounding this.”
“My aunt got these cakes for Christmas and I was obsessed with how cute they are! Don't be fooled by their appearance these cute dainty cakes taste just as intriguing as they look. My favorite was the hazelnut chocolate crunch and the coffee hazelnut macaroon tart! I really wanted to love the strawberry cheesecake but it wasn't any of our favs.”
“Very cozy and wonderful atmosphere. We had a great time at this restaurant food was delicious and very beautiful presentation.Thank you everyone who made this evening special.Service was excellent ❤️”
“I was looking for a local roaster in town , since I've recently purchase an espresso machine . Met Scott the owner , he was very informative about his products. Great customer service, and he even made me a shot espresso ! Will be coming back for more beans once I run out !”
“I’ve driven to this place twice from Orange County to have a good time with my two kids. It’s very clean and the food is excellent. The montessori/Waldorf inspired play space is very nice. The owners are very friendly and service is great.”

“Delicious and thoughtful dishes. I mainly stick to sushi and wasn't disappointed here. The premium charashi gave generous slices and I appreciated the small chopped ginger and mushroom added to the rice.We tried a variety of fish and it was consistently melt-in-your mouth. I highly recommend the hamachi belly and sea bream - these really stuck out.The veggie tempura was light and balanced (unlike some places that either over batter or cut too thickly), and the agedashi tofu was something I didn't want to share with my partner. This place has an excellent price point for the quality of the fish. I usually eat at a couple spots in Pasadena, but this rivals them. The service was quick and our server was attentive. We will be back!”

“Regularly like to frequent breweries that have Hazy IPAs and let me tell you that their Kikokiko Hazy IIPA is fire! It's up there with the great Hazy IPA breweries such as HPB and Monkish. Took a 4 pack of Kikokiko home and will definitely be back.”
“What a great dinner. Tony was our server. He was exceptional. Everything was tasty. There was so much food. Will come back next time I'm back in Pasadena.”

“A very good place if you want to try out Henan food, reasonably priced, not many choices, check the food before you go. But I bet most of the customers are the same people who go there often. Like it.Look at the code dish, Enough for a big ”

“Quaint place with Thai decor and good food. First time trying and their flavors are nice. I ordered a yellow curry. Not overly sweet and mild spicy was just right. Nice hot egg roll and salad with it, along with rice. I liked their tofu soup as well. Simple. Rice soup was also pretty tasty and this place has other dishes that are not the typical Thai menu items that people usually know about. The owner was nice and atmosphere too.”
“This is my first time coming to this beautiful restaurant the atmosphere is amazing the food is delicious and the service from Pati was so good that I wish I can give her 10? she was so thoughtful and her attitude was good hope that the owners read the reviews because it's important to know how good a worker is doing at their business will come again and hope to get pati as my waitress your friend and local reviewer Daniel.”
“Going in the middle of the night to get food from here was quite interesting. Language barrier I didn't mind. The food was delicious though! So that made up for it.”
“One of the better hotpot places locally and possibly a new favorite. Ingredients are fresh and the sauce bar has a plethora of snack choices. Although not all you can eat, the prices are very fair and surprisingly low for such quality.Service was pretty fast. The atmosphere is historic in a very cozy way.”
“Amazing food and fantastic service! You'll love this family owned restaurant. The food was delicious, good quality, and fresh - I forgot to take pictures though. Highly recommend the smoked fish, eel in brown sauce, Shanghai ribs, and the fried buns! Definitely support this local business.”
“First time ordered two fish tacos for breakfast. Made fresh to order, crispy breading with tender fish. They were SO good. I had to go to taco nazo at lunch to compare. My experience here was like a 10 and taco nazo was a 7. Eat the fish tacos there. I took the second one home and it was still good but much better eaten fresh out the fryer.”
“a go-to chinese spot for late-night cravings. came here on an empty stomach one night and had one of my best chinese food experiences. mongolian beef, mapo tofu, and fried rice met my expectations! if you're looking for late night chinese food, this is your spot. prices were also reasonable.”
“My husband and I come every Sunday to eat a medium dry pot. Food is very good, the portions are huge and the staff is very friendly. We've tried almost every combination and everything is fresh and tasty.Parking: Don't even waste your time with upstairs parking. Park downstairs so you can hurry up and eat.”
“Food is always good. I love the sausage, eggplant, fried egg, and the black egg. Rice is always fresh and food is always hot. I have been going here since I was a kid. It’s a bit pricey.”
“I like the soup base to be medium spicy, but it's really too salty. The bone soup base is okay. Everything else I ate today was okay, except that the shrimp I got was a bit not fresh. I told the waiter when I paid, but he didn't really respond to me. Yes, the bill was reduced later, and the bowls in the snack area were all used up when I came. I didn't see them replenished until I left. I will come again for the ice powder and red bean porridge.”
“Going in the middle of the night to get food from here was quite interesting. Language barrier I didn't mind. The food was delicious though! So that made up for it.”
“Excellent taste and customer service. We got the new set of free side dishes as soon as we finished, even one side dish of 7 or 8 side dishes. Very nice hospitality and more and more~♡”

Takeout Restaurants
“Loooved this acai bowl place! They're located in Blossom Market Hall.We got a 24 oz bowl for $16 and it was enough to share between two. I chose an acai / coconut base, with chia pudding. Both the acai and coconut layers were SO refreshing! We topped it off with every fruit selection they had, and overall it was a nice balance :)Selections for toppings are pretty standard, though other acai spots I've been to have definitely had a broader selection. They have options between peanut or almond butter, granolas, and other plant seeds.Service was quick and prompt, and there's lots of seating in the market itself!”
“Tay Ho in San Gabriel impressed with their Banh Cuon Set - classic steamed rice crepes with delicious fillings like pork & mushroom rolls and crispy shrimp fritters. Their grilled meat sets are similar, featuring BBQ pork or grilled ham. The lemongrass chicken in Bun was flavorful and refreshing. They also offer unique drinks like Pandan Coffee and delicious Che Ba Mau desserts. Great spot for quick, authentic Vietnamese food!”
“I have a new favorite Vietnam place :D the server is super cool :D the food is just so tasty :D I love it I will come back, yes :DDelicious food, excellent service :D I recommend it without a doubt, it is an excellence :D tasty :D and delicious and I want more :D”
“You have to try their egg rolls. That counterbalanced with any noodle soup will just make your day. The place is always packed so take out might be the fastest option. Don’t worry, the food is still tasty when you get home.”
“Finally got the chance to try this dessert place after always passing by. I got the pure milk soft serve and 3 pieces of taiyaki in custard and red bean. The soft serve is a nice texture and it's very soft. The milk is a bit too sweet, in my opinion. And you can self serve on several toppings for the soft serve. The taiyaki is very good, just wish that it is a bit more crispy. They give a generous amount of filling inside the taiyaki. Inside is a small place. They only have a bench and a couple of stools. Overall, a great dessert place!”
“Excellent authentic Japanese izakaya restaurant. The biggest saba (grilled mackerel) I've ever seen! Huuuuge. I had the katsu - excellent. My daughter had the BBQ beef skirt teriyaki and I tried a piece and it was delicious. Service was awesome too. The couple who I believe own/run the place were super nice and gracious. A big TV with NBA basketball on - what more could you ask for?”
“I came here with my family on a Sunday evening. It's a sit down restaurant but not overly formal. The food here is delicious. I had the chicken karaage bowl that had great flavor and texture. The udon noodles and soup base were delicious as well. Can't wait to try other items on the menu.”
“Wah Sing Dim Sum, on San Gabriel Blvd., is just below Las Tunas Drive. The only time they've disappointed me is when I forget they're closed on Wednesdays. Other than that they make some of the yummiest dim sum around. They make my favorite charsiu.... chasu? chashu?? -- anyway, favorite bbq pork steamed bao here. I don't know what makes them so good. I think there's a hint of ginger in that filling. Their stir-fried noodles, $5.89 under the "Chef's Special" section, are also a steal. Their steamed sausage rolls are good as well. I've only ordered my food to-go. I've only seen diners inside one in a while although admittedly I usually stop in the early afternoon. The ladies behind the counter are no nonsense but sweet; they've thrown a sample my way once or twice. The wait for your food can be more than a few minutes, especially if that item you want isn't fully steamed yet, especially if they're busy, but the extra wait is worth it. They're a dim sum hole-in-the-corner of a strip mall dominated by a Good Fortune Supermarket, which means tons of parking. In fact, every single time I've been there, there's always another customer-- or several customers-- waiting to order, or waiting to receive their order. Speaking of ordering, they have the standard golf pencils (next to a bottle of hand sanitizer) for filling out the order form. There are also laminated menus with photos. Wah Sing is a dim sum dark horse that won't disappoint. Unless you go in a Wednesday”
“This place is truly great. I highly recommend the Chicken Kabob plate. The chicken is juicy, the hummus is perfect and the rest that comes with it is just perfect. The owner is also really kind. He's super grateful which makes want to support him as much as I can.”
“Currently my number 1 dim sum joint beating out Lunasia marginally. Excellent food and has some unique dishes. They tried to make the place look nice but you see what it is. Regardless food trumps all and it’s clean. Let’s see who can topple them!”
“New local restaurant just opened 6 months. Give it a try. We ordered a Roti Canai with curry beef brisket. Indian curry base and paprika is added to enhance flavor. Roti Canai fresh made that is tasty but a bit oily. Taste of Hometown fried rice noodles is light which I like. They're not big portions. We added a Kaya Toast with butter. When this order arrived, the waiter recommended Taro French Toast that they smashed the taro and mix with condensed milk then spread on toasted bread. I will try next time. The price of breakfast menu is reasonable.? Support small local restaurant.”
“Hot high 80's day? A popsicle sounds great!Located across from Mission San Gabriel, Nomad Ice Pops looked to be a refreshing solution on a hot Fall day. Being Dia de los Muertos/Halloween season, Nomad Ice Pops had some popsicles shaped like skulls. After perusing the menu, horchata stood out & compelled a purchase.Horchata ($3.50)-Sabroso! Horchata was one of my favorite drinks, when I didn't care about sugar, calories, good health, diabetes. Heck, I remember I bought a large horchata from a former Albertaco's in Hawaiian Gardens, only to come back in a hour or so & buy another one. For shame! Anyhoo, Nomad Ice Pops' dairy-free horchata popsicle had all the taste & flavors of horchata that I remembered. It was frozen solid, meaning it didn't melt at all on a high 80's day. I ate the whole popsicle one bite at a time, which made things less messy.Service was good. Nomad Ice Pops operates as a takeout window. Parking is via street or at Mission San Gabriel.Nomad Ice Pops cooled me off on a hot day. I enjoyed my horchata popsicle & appreciated how solid it remained while consuming it. Nomad Ice Pops is a great option when looking for a sweet frozen treat.”

“Got the 갈비찜 (steamed Kalbi/ribs with the flame-torched cheese) & 양지설렁탕 (beef strip soup). Does the cheese really at flavor and texture to the 갈비찜? Not sure, but the pyro in me thinks it's cool ??But to not detract from the namesake, with the hypothetical etymology lesson I won't get into, get the 설렁탕.”

“My wife loves the Hibiscus Tree Combo #1 loaded with marinated beef, shrimp, beef tripe, crab stick, fish ball, spam, quail egg, bean curd, bean sprouts, enoki mushrooms, black fungus, winter melon. So much great stuff inside. We use DoorDash for food deliveries. But I've came by twice to pick up takeout. The parking lot is always full and hard to find parking so we prefer DoorDash and let them deal with the parking situation.”

“Looking for authentic Sichuan and Cantonese cuisine? There’s a hidden gem in San Gabriel that’s worth trying. They have some really spicy dishes but if you’re like me and can’t handle too spicy, they have some wonderful non-spicy options. Check out their lunch specials!Andrea, Jessica and the rest of the staff are wonderful with customers! They are so welcoming and attentive, treating everyone like friends and making the customers feel at home. They have separate rooms available and are perfect for parties as well. I love the outdoor patio area! Now, let’s talk about the food…Everything was absolutely delicious!! Big portion sizes as well. It was enough to feed me and my 2 boys and still have some food to take home. The Smoked Duck was tender and succulent! The Lamb Chops were fall off the bone tender and so flavorful! Love the crispy texture of the Stir-Fried Noodles with Beef. You can get them soft or crispy. The Diced Beef Tenderloin was our favorite!! So juicy and perfectly cooked! Great balance of flavors! There’s a small parking lot so you may need to park on the street. At first I wasn’t sure if I was at the right place, but it was lol So, if you just follow the directions, you’ll find it.We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back!”
“Fast service, the crispiest roast pork I've had, friendly servers. It was not so crowded on a week night for dinner and some - some couples, some folks alone. There's also a separate room on the side that seems like it could fit 30-50. Dying to try the crispy pork belly! Big portions. I'll definitely come back.”
“Ordered in 2021. Cake was moist and yummy. The service was great, the owner offered to add the flower I brought in myself and the price was decent back then. Small location but convenient and easy to access street parking.”
“Cakes are moist and tasty. Especially this place is known for their durian cake. I typically order the chocolate cake with strawberries for my guests and they love it. Overall, any of their cakes are great. Sweetness level is perfect. Even the outside cream is delicious (typically I would throw away the outside cream whenever I eat cakes because it is too sweet, but the outside cream from this bakery is perfect and tasty).”
“Very friendly and accommodating. Good quality, reasonable prices, quick service. The restaurant is small, only a few tables. In this post pandemic world where more and more of us prefer takeout or dine in, this is a great place for dim sum.”
“Excellent legit Taiwanese joint. true home tastes. To go only, no inside sitting. All the classics are here and they're delicious. Place your orders in advance to avoid the long wait as they make things to order.”

“The clear noodle soup is highly recommended! If you like light food and are tired of American food, you will miss the Asian taste. Braised pork with prunes and fried pork intestines are very good??The restaurant is not big, but it is clean.”
“So far my top fav boba place, not sure why there aint a lot of customers but the drinks are always consistent, chewy boba, tea has strong flavor. Recommended lychee green tea, and sea salt green tea.”
“Great customer service the manager Manny stop by our table to make sure we were doing good. He notice we were celebrating my daughter's bday and he brought a brownie sundae for her thank you again we will definitely come back because he made us few welcome and just by giving that ice cream to my daughter he now has a loyal customer.”
“Excellent customer service and the food was FANTASTIC. The hostesses and the waitstaff provided very good service. It was a 45 minute wait to be seated but worth it!!!”
“Highly recommend this place. 5 star dive bar! Charlotte was a very kind server and had a lot of history of this establishment available to share. Clean, stiff drinks and friendly staff and patrons”
“Cute little spot near offices and schools. Great for meat eaters and maybe one or two items for vegetarians.Vegetarian options: Veggie rice bowl, fries, stuffed potatoes”
“First time to try Japanese style soufflé. It’s a bit pricey but worth the price! We ordered classic soufflé, it comes with 3 pancakes stacked together. So a big serving size.Soufflé is soft and sweet. There’re many people in the shop, a good place to hang out with friends.”
“They have multiple large screens around the dining room and in patio. Lots of fun to watch your favorite team with friends. Since they're owned by North Woods Inn, they serve some of the same foods, including red cabbage and Iceberg lettuce with blue cheese dressing salads and their incredible cheese bread (at a lower price). The price I'm quoting below, per person includes one or two drinks (alcohol).Parking: Never a problem getting a spot, even when they're busy.”
“a go-to chinese spot for late-night cravings. came here on an empty stomach one night and had one of my best chinese food experiences. mongolian beef, mapo tofu, and fried rice met my expectations! if you're looking for late night chinese food, this is your spot. prices were also reasonable.”

“Food is always good. I love the sausage, eggplant, fried egg, and the black egg. Rice is always fresh and food is always hot. I have been going here since I was a kid. It’s a bit pricey.”
“I love their cute and yummy drinks. They have super cute fabric handle for the drinks for purchase and many cute keychains.Highlights of the menu:1. Jasmine brown sugar pearl milk tea2. Sago taro milk tea3. Sago mango fresh tea4. Classic milk tea5. Red velvet”
“Very good food! After eating millions of Korean barbecue family decided to try something different and it’s totally worth it. Only complaint is the chopsticks, which is very flat and heavy, makes it very hard to use. And I’ve been using chopsticks since I was born ?”
“what a great little find I've eaten here for both take out as well as dine in both experiences are always a top-notch dinner. standouts are Kung Pao chicken and an absolutely enormous and flavorful hot and sour soup.”
“Specialty Chang Fun restaurant? Count me in! Their Chang fun had such amazing texture- it was thin but had that je ne sais quoi. It almost as good as the one in Flushing, NY but they have much more varieties of flavor here. I was expecting the typical umami sauce like at dim sum places so their milder sauce took me aback. I'm guessing it's because they want the ingredients to shine, which it really did. To order:They give you a menu picture, a pen, and a scratch paper. Each menu item has a number, which you write on the scratch paper and hand to the waiter to order. Got the:1) pork & shrimp Chang fun: 9/10- Delicious and lots of ingredients - shrimp was a great texture, I only wish it was a tad bit bigger2) The fish rice noodle was amazing: 10/10- the fish was very soft and tender and just falls apart in your chopsticks. - They also seasoned the fish really well with white pepper - would get again and again3) beef stew Chang fun: 8/10- looks like their beef stew is very popular because they have many items with beef stew and I watched him scoop some from a large vat 4) egg Chang fun: 8/10- great, I mean, It's eggs in rice noodle, what else is there to say?5) chicken Chang fun: 9/10- one word: scrumptious 6) Preserved egg and pork congee: 9/10- the theme of this restaurant has been amazing texture- and this congee had exemplary texture- it was perfectly thick and had lots of ingredients - it comes with some chopped veggies and cilantro- I only wish there was more cilantro - there's white pepper on the table if you want to add any Can't wait to come back again. They get a bonus in my book for playing 90's HK films on TV, lol.”

“This place has great service, the parking isn't crowded, the atmosphere is pleasant and enjoyable to have dinner. The portions are huge as well. I was very surprised. A small would feed 2 people easy, cost is $59. Comes with pork rib soup, steamed egg, and dessert.”

“I love this place I've been going there for many years when the original owner was still alive but recently stopped in and everything was still great, including the service!”
“This my go-to place for Taiwanese mooncakes and eats. Their mungbean style mooncakes are flakey on the outside with a savory/sweet inside. When you buy 6 pieces, they'll neatly arrange the mooncakes for you in a gift box and also a gift bag for easy gifting (or just eat it yourself at home, we won't judge!). Though the pastries are the stars of the show IMO, you can't go wrong with anything you eat there. Absolutely pop into IFT Bakery if you're in the area!”
“I thought I should share this… I have been to this location three times in the last three days as I've been looking for some porcelain tile. Each time I went inside, I had the most excellent experience and personal attention from staff. I looked around and I saw other patrons getting the same treatment. You don't get this anywhere else, I'm floored lol. Special thanks to Darren From the pro desk for his help today but I wanted to share what a great experience it was at this location.”
“I would say this is one of the better Wingstop locations in the big Pasadena area. Lived in Pasadena my whole life so I've tried all the Wingstop locations at separate times so I can evaluate on average which one is worth to buy!! Although I do not suggest coming to this location because the wait will be way longer- definitely order delivery from this location. The fries are never soggy and they always listen to the special requests in the delivery apps. This place always gives warm food and never fails to give a couple extra boneless wings. Go to this one guys !!”

“We ordered the mango sweet dew. It was smoothies with fresh mango, grapefruit, and cristal boba. We ordered 50% sweet, but it was still too sweet for us. Overall, it was fresh and delicious. We also ordered osmanthus oolong tea with mousse. The mousse was heavy and smooth, and the osmanthus was rich.”
“First of all, thank you for opening on Christmas Day! It was my birthday and I went to other location but unfortunately it was closed. I had given up my hope of finding ice cream cake for my birthday but decided to visit this location without any hope. When I got here and see it was open, it made my day! Thank you so much for your service and opening hour”
“First time to try Japanese style soufflé. It’s a bit pricey but worth the price! We ordered classic soufflé, it comes with 3 pancakes stacked together. So a big serving size.Soufflé is soft and sweet. There’re many people in the shop, a good place to hang out with friends.”
“OMG, I think this is the cheapest boba milk tea we haven't had for a long time. $4.45 for a boba milk tea with free toppings to add. The milk tea itself is the old school authentic Taiwanese milk tea. It's probably the highest CP value tea shop in the entire SoCal. I strongly believe the landlord open the shop (because they don't need to pay for the rent) ; otherwise, how can they make money with all the inflation and labor cost. Anyway, WuShiland does have their competition now.”
“They have multiple large screens around the dining room and in patio. Lots of fun to watch your favorite team with friends. “The flavor of all the dishes is really amazingly. The environment is clean and new. Bing care of dinner time since of the long line of waiting. The service they provided is really nice and alternate. They tried to serve the customer who come by chronological by change the table size. Definitely tried the steam egg and other dishes that not spicy because they are also really out of standing.”
“A place that both my Chinese and Vietnamese friends praise for their dim sum. Make sure you're prepared to wait because this place is usually pretty packed. Enter through the floor entrance and make a left to the elevator and take it to the top floor where the restaurant is located. Service can suck at times so you have to be a little assertive in getting their attention. Also if there's something you want you might want to grab your stamp card and just head to the cart instead of waiting for them to come to you. A must get are their desserts including the custard buns and egg tarts. Would also suggest asking for the chrysanthemum tea.”
“This restaurant is amazing! Very authentic Mexican food. Best I ever had.My father and I love the friendliness great service. Thank you Tom and marcy for making it a great always.”
“I waited five years to try this place once I had heard that Wong Fu opened it, and the wait was worth it. The Taiwanese spicy chicken sandwich blew my mind and my spirit, and the quality of the tapioca was amazing. I don’t even live here, but I will be coming back soon.”
“I absolutely love there boneless chicken wings. I got the half & half with Korean bbq & yangyeom sauce. I feel like it’s almost necessary to get extra sauce which is an additional charge added to the chicken but well worth it.Their draft beer is a good price with some great options. I look forward to ordering this again, it was delicious”
“I have been to this restaurant numerous times, and the food is amazing. Being from the Caribbean, it is hard to sometimes find authentic food, and this place hits the nail. It is also very affordable, and the servings are more than enough, which is a big plus.”
