“Great mom & pop Thai spot! We used to love President Thai, but it's better for big groups, not so good for small family meals. This is solid standard neighborhood Thai restaurant. Very understated, interior is run down, service can be slow when busy because it's family owned, not too many folks working or helping out. But the food is amazing, above par. Definitely want to support this place because President Thai and Banana Bay were not cutting it.“

“Red Chicken Thai is a small corner Thai food spot in San Gabriel Valley. They have a breadth of food and drink items. Its interior was modest with little to no aesthetic decor.

However, the atmosphere was relaxing for customers. Their dining area have 8 tables that can accommodate thirty people. It was my first time visit and I had a default Pad Woon Sen x Iced Lemon tea. Both are good in taste, flavor and portion. Service was spot on as well as the price (affordable). Staff was competent and attentive. Plenty of street and rear parking. Collectively, this is a good Thai spot.

The kind of place only locals in the hood know about and frequent, far from the center of commerce, but quaint enough to be the epicenter of town. The food is super fresh. “Ty of Thai Thyme is an exceptional host. After dinner, he's rokk the time to greet our party and give us insights as to visiting Thailand. He was very nice and hospitable. But I digress, the FOOD was phenomenal! We ordered the Tom Ka soup, chicken curry, shrimp fried rice, beef pad Thai, chicken satay, and Thai ice teas. Everything was so flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Authentic Thai spices and chile. We'll be going bab very soon!!!“

They greeted us so friendly and accommodated our requests for items on the side. Then, the next day we came back here because everything was so flavorful! “Rice Street Food was really tasty - everything was excellent! We had the sausage, egg rolls, and wings for appetizers, and for mains we had the Ancient Lad Thai Seafood, pineapple fried rice, and my son had the teriyaki chicken bowl. We finished with mango sticky rice for dessert. Everything hit the spot perfectly.

Only small thing was the owner took my cup for a water refill and never came back - we joked with him about it after. Wasn't a big deal at all, we just walked to the cooler and grabbed a soda lol. Will definitely be back!“

“This is the most authentic Thai restaurant in Los Angeles. Maybe even in all of SoCal. These people made the tastiest crispiest crunchiest mango fish I've ever had outside of Bangkok. Then they complimented us with a desert that was to die for! I cannot believe how good the food was here. Came for a business lunch and every person present was astounded at how great the food was. “I almost didn't stop today because the parking on the street was horrible but I called the restaurant and asked if they had other than street parking and the owner Jasmine who answered the call said yes!!
While she explained where it was at and before I could turn onto Orange Grove Ave she had already texted a small map on how to find thier parking lot :)

Jasmine was super nice and waited for me to park and invited me in through the back entrance.
I picked a table and she quickly had a cold glass of water and a menu for me to look at.

After a few minutes I was ready and ordered the Thai House Salad with Peanut Sauce & Tom Kah Soup with Chicken.

Out came the salad first and oops was it bigger than expected but oh so good, the peanut sauce was so yummy mixed wirh the salad it was so refreshing.

Next was the Tom Kah soup with Chicken, boling in the holder waiting for me to try. I had my first taste of the soup, it was hard to describe the flavors only because the soup was so good!!
The coconut was there but with the tomato added in, it took the flavor to a different level :) the chicken was so tender it almost melts in your mouth.... All I can say in my head was dang+ why didn't I come here sooner.
I finished both and was getting ready to pay
when something told be to try the Mango Sticky Rice normally I wouldn't eat dessert after lunch but soo glad I did..
Hands down one of the Best I have ever tasted yes I said that, but Jasmine said if you like it now come try it when the Thai Mangos are in Season it will blow your taste buds out of the water... LOL, She really didnt say that but that's how I translated what she said in my brain Hahahah!!

Overall my stop at Thaiger had great food, great conversation and a wonderful dinning experience.

Ordered two Pad Thai and a Chicken Satay.
The Pad Thai was really tasty, And the server offered us a hot sauce that was SO GOOD! On top of the Pad Thai, it was even better. But the real star of the show was the chicken satay and peanut sauce. The chicken was perfectly cooked, practically falling off of its skewer, tender and juicy and seasoning was on point!
A lot of people came in for order pickups, but I was surprised we were the only ones in the small dining room. Which was actually really nice on a busy Friday night everywhere else. Really glad we stopped in!“

“This local spot is a proper hole in the wall. The delicious food and friendly service almost feels like a secret. The Thai motifs on the booths also feel extra special. Our favorite dishes are Thom ka goong, pad wood sen and their satay. This is a restaurant that I'm always happy to introduce to friends!“

“Step into Mama Mae Ting's stall and you will be transported into an authentic Bangkok soi eatery (street stall). Somtam is fresh, crunchy and seasoned as spicy as you can handle; the BBQ chicken (gai yang) & BBQ pork (mu ping) are super savory and juicy (and conveniently served on sticks)..be sure to ask for sticky rice with that! Missed out on the kanomkrok but will save that treat for my next visit. Super arroy di mak-mak!“

“I felt so compelled to write a review for this restaurant because it was so dang good! I went here during my lunch and ordered spicy pad Thai with chicken (not fried chicken). I asked if the noodles were rice based (as I have a gluten allergy). They triple checked just to make sure. I really appreciate that they were very careful before starting my order.

Once I got my lunch, I was in heaven. The spice levels weren’t high, which is probably a good thing as I had to go back to work. I would ask them to make it spicier if you’re looking for that kick. Everything is fresh and one order of pad Thai was enough for two. But I was starving and I loved the dish so much that I finished it all.

I hope they have mango sticky rice next time I go (they were out of it when I was there). I will gladly return. I want to try everything on their menu, including their boba teas. Thank you for your kind service and delicious food!!

Side note: I didn’t realize this was a Thai food place because their banner has a bigger font for “Fried Chicken”whereas their “Thai food” font is way smaller. I’m glad I took my chance because i was pleasantly surprised to enter a Thai restaurant that also serves fried chicken meals.“

“I was craving Thai food in the area and saw this place as an option. I wasn't sure how it would be but it ended up being really good. Tried a few options and was really surprised how great the red curry tasted. The pad see-ew was also great. The staff was friendly and gave suggestions. The inside area is spacious.“
