“Wow! I'm not sure where to start. Other than this place is amazing. I ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl. So let me say I was impressed. At first, i was kind of regretful. i didn't sit in and eat because of the veggies. i thought they would be soggie, but no, they were still crispy. An other think I loved was that the chicken was cooked over an open flame.and then it was packed. The meat and veggies were separate, so my rice was also still fresh. Following that the serving size I my opion was very fair. They are not gready. Furthermore. They are really polite, but as always, don't just take my word for it. Give it a try.“
“My first time eating here, and I am pretty impressed. I had the Pad Thai lunch special, and it did not disappoint. The flavors were very good, comes with an egg roll and white rice but for $1 more, you can upgrade to fried rice. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly. I will return.“
“If I could give this place 100 stars I would. This little hole in the wall is AMAZING!The food was so delicious. Everything was fresh and very flavorful. Very very clean. The service was beyond amazing. Steve and his wife provided the best service. Everything felt so personal, they took the time to make us feel at home. I will forever rave about this place.Kid-friendliness: Steve was so kind with the kids. He gave them toys to entertain them. He offered them a tasty dessert.“
“I’ve been too many Thai restaurants and I got to say this is the best one I’ve visited . Let me start off with the customer service, which was out of this world. We felt special there, Tutu, Pat, and Tina, were courteous, friendly and attentive. We usually order the Pad Thai as was today, colossal crab Pad Thai and it was delicious ,very flavorful and for dessert we ordered ,mango sweet rice this was also flavorful and delicious. They have several teas and a variety of beverages, wines, cocktails and liquors. The Thai green tea and Thai iced tea, and Thai lime tea are really good .The structure is decorated nicely. They have plenty of tables to sit down and enjoy your meal. They have Booths and long tables and tables for two .They also have outside dining. The prices are reasonable. There is plenty of parking with the handicap stalls close to the front entrance. I recommend this place to those who, like Thai food, and great customer service, we will be back soonVegetarian options: Vegetarian friendlyParking: Shared parking lot with other businesses on the premisesKid-friendliness: Kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: This is a handicap assessable restaurant“
“Hidden gem!!!! What a great place! The food is fresh, and portions are plentiful for the price. The parking lot sucks but the food makes up for the hassle. They always have got my order on point and ready when I arrive. So happy I made the stop and tried! Highly recommend!! The crème brûlée dessert is delish! A MUST TRY!!! You will be back!“
“Honestly, this place is amazing, the people of this establishment are some of the most sweetest people! i would eat here just for the service alone, they make you feel like family and that you are so important to them. everything about my experience here was so genuine and i left feeling so loved. The plus side of this is that their food is delicious! i had the drunken rice with chicken, ive always had the noodles never had rice this style but i loved every bit! i will definitely be returning, thank you so much for your wonderful service and pure hearts, you really made my day.“
“This place is so cute! It reminds me of a hipster joint you would find in LA or Tokyo. They play funky music and offer happy hour everyday 8pm to close and you get $2 off munchies (their version of appetizers or small plates) and $1 off drinks. The food can be pretty spicy. For example, the drunken noodles were like a 7/10 on spice level. The boat noodle soup was loaded with robust flavor. The fried chicken wings appetizer was moist with a sweet and tangy sauce. They offer a variety of drinks from Thai tea to fresh coconut as well as unique desserts! I've been to Thailand and some of the best Thai restaurants in LA and OC and this place ranks among them for their creativity and uniqueness. The service is good and everything came out in good time. Another plus is that they provided eco-friendly to go packaging AND their water is fresh and clean! Didn't taste like tap water! I'd come back to try their other foods but make sure that the spice is not as intense.“
“Every dish here was amazing and tasty! We had a friendly attentive server named AJ who made the dining experience wonderful. He suggested their popular pineapple fried rice and best sellers. The menu here has a nice variety to select from for everyone! We were pleasantly surprised to see our favorite jajangmyun on the menu. Loved every bite and good vibes!“
“Really good food, got the chicken teriyaki and my husband got the half bbq chicken & half beef combo! It was a lot of food and so good! Their drinks are so cheap and yummy I got the Thai tea boba! Service is amazing they are so sweet and nice! Can't wait to come back.“
“Beautiful decor, above and beyond service and some of the best Thai food I've had, for sure!I ordered the seafood Tom Kha, two egg rolls and a whole coconut. Everything was piping hot! (Except the coconut of course lol.) The egg rolls were nicely crispy and had a good flavor and nice dipping sauce. I asked for the soup to be mild-to-medium spicy and it came out perfectly spicy! It had the perfect balance of creamy, sour, sweet and spicy elements, which complexity of flavors Thai cuisine is so famous for. The seafood was all cooked perfectly, very tender and not even a bit tough or rubbery. And the coconut was great too! Just your typical Thai coconut.Overall definitely in my top 3 Thai restaurants I've ever been to (out of at least around 50).“
“First time there and First time eating Thai food. It was delicious. We had a family of 14 show up and everyone loved the food. I had the BBQ Pork and som had the Orange chicken. Also a side order of pineapple rice and mom had the veggies soup with chicken. I also ordered the chicken egg rolls. Service was excellent but slow seeing that she was short staffed on a Sunday. I highly recommend this place. I will be going back! The only bad thing is there is no restroom...Wheelchair accessibility: Easy entry and Access.“
“I've been here a few times, and in these times, I've had the lunch special. It was price well. It comes with a drink of your choice, which I had Thai Ice Tea. It also comes with a salad and 2 dumplings. I would recommend this place.“
“Excellent food! A wonderful family run restaurant. My whole family goes crazy for their crab Rangoon and shrimp and veggie tempura. The golden shrimp dumpling curry is also amazing. They just expanded the menu, very excited to try more dishes. Have never been disappointed, and very friendly staff and owners!Vegetarian options: Lots of dishes can be made with tofu“
“Best Thai food anywhere nearby, bar none! Owner and his wife serve you personally, make recommendations and cook some of the best food I've ever had. Standard dishes like pad Thai or fried rice with crispy pork or spicy green beans and beef, are made to perfection. They will accommodate allergies ( my wife is allergic to nuts) or whatever level of spice you are comfortable with. You need to try this food“
“Placed a large catering order for a corporate lunch event and the owner was so accommodating to our needs! They opened the kitchen early for us so that I could pick up the food earlier so that it could be ready in time for our corporate event at noon. The food was delicious. Everything was packed nicely. They even provided plenty of forks and napkins. Thank you so much!“
“A very small Thai restaurant but great food. There isn't a very big parking lot in the back but you can find parking nearby on the streets. There also isn't many tables inside so that is why the wait times get so long. Luckily, we came at a good time and didn't have to wait. The employees are friendly and have good service too.We ordered the pad thai, pad see ew, chicken satay, khao soi. The satay was okay but I really liked the pad thai and pad see ew. However, the portions are a bit on the smaller side for the price. One dish is barely enough for one person. But I guess the size is good for trying different dishes with friends.“
“We stopped by for a quick dinner on our first day in east LA. We had the orange chicken, kung Pao combination, jasmine and brown rice with iced green tea. The portions were large, food was delicious, hot, and the service friendly. It was a great start to the week.“
“Hello! Well being that I have gone to Thailand, I think my review will be valid. First things first is the welcome value 5 stars. The most sincere and pleasant staff. Service time above average. Plating was very visually appealing. Had the lunch special eggplant. Was cooked to my perfection. Overall what was most important was the smiles. That is what made the experience a full star rating.“
“Happened to be in the neighborhood, so thought we'd give it a try.We ordered green curry, pad krapow and grilled beef "crying tiger."Green curry was good. Pad krapow was the best. It has just the right punch to it; very flavorful. Sadly the grilled beef was chewy and overcooked. It was so overcooked that it tasted more like beef jerky. A big disappointment. We will come back for the pad krapow and will try some other dishes.“
“I have been coming here often for the past three months because of how good the food is. The food in the pictures are the Pad Kee Mao, Thai fried rice, Chili & Lemon shrimp saap, and the Chili & Lemon chicken wing saap. The other dishes that are also very delicious are the Pad see ew, BBQ pork fried rice, teriyaki chicken plate and the Tom yum seafood soup. The flavor is great and the price is right. Highly recommend if you are in the area and would like some delicious food!!!Parking: Very limited but you can find street parking if you don’t mind walking“
“What a lovely quaint Thai restaurant I stumbled upon. I was in the area for a delivery and stopped in to have some lunch. It was very peaceful in there, the staff were friendly. I ordered the glass noodle soup and it was very flavorful, not to mention only $8! They also give you a generous amount of chicken in the soup which is always a plus. Overall great experience.“
“I am trying all the khao soi places in LA and stumbled upon Thailicious while on the SGV eats facebook group. So glad I discovered it because its one of the best khao soi in the LA area. It tasted really authentic just like northern thailand. The prices here are great because you can get a small noodle dish for $7.50 that can fill you up! The servers were really nice and service was fast. Parking is super easy as they have their own parking lot“
“Singkawang is one of my go-to authentic Indonesian restaurant that I frequent whenever I'm in the area. My favorite dishes are the Sambal Sticky Beans and Shrimp, as well as the Curry Laksa, both are spicy and flavorful. Nasi Padang and Red Curry is just average.“
“"Hidden gem" definitely describes Eden Thai. It's an unassuming little restaurant, but absolutely worth supporting. The food is great for the price (the pineapple fried rice is my personal favorite), and they have free delivery available. The owners are very sweet as well. Now that the pandemic is over, this place deserves a good update in interior decor to really get people to come in and stay for indoor dining!“
“Exceptional, customer, service, with authentic outstanding food. If I can give 10 stars, I would. If your looking for Thai food, I highly recommend this spot. If your dish isn't up to par, they will make it right customer service at its finest, how it should be. I will be coming back next time I crave Thai food. Thank you for a wonderful experience.“
“I can't believe that I had never heard of this spot before and can thank Reddit for this amazing find! How often can you find something for under $10 nowadays. While it is cash only, there are so many options available that it totally makes up for it. I came in on a Saturday around 2pm so there wasn't a ton of assortment left (out of eggplant) so I picked the chicken larb, green curry and pork ribs. All of the food was solid and I loved that you can eat different Thai dishes versus when you normally order takeout, you kind of committed to one dish. I loved the portion and the flavors of all the dishes. There are so many grand and go options available too. I will definitely be back again to try other dishes!“
“Some of my favorite yellow curry and pad thai around! I always get the peanut sauce to add to my noodles. They always remember to fry the tofu when I put it in the description. I usually doordash but I walked in the other day and it was so nice inside! My only wish would be to have a little more rice come with the curry.“
“Hey Foodies ❤️ if you're looking for a place where Thai meets seafood in a bag, Nine Seafood Restaurant is where it's at. Best time to go before things really get jumping on a Saturday is about 4/4:30pm. After that you will blink and see half the place start to fill up. When I came in I was greeted, and ask to hang out for my table to be prepped. Just a few minutes and away we go. The customer service by far is a 10 double ++ for those of you who are not used to being tended too, asking if you need anything during your time at an eating establishment you are in for a treat. The host, server, etc were very sweet and sincere. To the food.....I'm sorry my tastebuds just had a flashback. Where do I start? The flavors were bold and complimented one another something fierce, I had a Brazilian Carnival going on in my mouth. We started with the Edamames with a cajun seasoning. I was stuck here a while, even when our food came i was still going through them. Next was the curry. The yellow curry was rich, smooth with chunky potato and big juicy shrimps. I poured this delectable treat over my seafood fried rice which sent me to another dimension of tastebud euphoria. The class, mussels, shrimp, crab was just mmmmm mmm. Finally we had the Pad See Ew Combo with flat noodles, Broccoli and egg yummy. I mixed this in with the yellow curry, can somebody give me a ride home because I feel a food coma coming. Absolutely loved every dish presented, this hidden gem is a golden nugget. I wish them much success, blessings and favor to the employees and management of this establishment in Jesus name for your work shall not be in vain. May your fruits continue to bear in and out of season.“
“This is my first time here in person (usually I order on uber eats which delivery is free ?) and let me tell anyone who reads this the flavor this food has in amazing. Good portions and a reasonable price! And to top it off the owner Jack is such a sweet caring attentive person. He's the reason I will be returning in person just to enjoy a delicious friendly meal. Thank you everyone for the hard work ?“
“We were looking for Halal Thai in the Orange County area and discovered this place. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by an aunty, a telltale sign of good food. Food was excellent and they still offered us service despite arriving close to closing. Tom Yum Soup was excellent and was full of meat and mushrooms, with their Spicy Mint Noodles having a generous portion of beef and flavourful.Dietary restrictions: Halal“
“Plenty of parking and fast service as I didn't wait long for my food. The Nom Yen is something I don't see often in Thai restaurant so I knew I had to get it!! The drink was really good and creamy. I also got the teriyaki chicken which was surprisingly flavorful and the veggies were nice and soft. I tried my Mom's pad see ew which was pretty delicious as well. Great service and food overall!“
“OMG??? EVERYTHING WAS SO GOOD??? Okay let me go in order. The Thai tea.. was the best Thai tea I've had in so long, and for the portion the price was just right in my opinion just as the other meals, PLENTY FOOD FOR SUCH REASONABLE PRICES IS CRAZY THESE DAYS. I got the kimchi tom yum, and omg. See I'm not s big soup person unless it's pho, and this tom up was so good you guys. SO GOOD. It was the right amount of spicy and sour and the kimchi tasted so fresh. We also got the cucumber salad, and this was new to me because I usually get cucumber salad at restaurants but the style, presentation, and taste was completely new. I liked it I definitely did enjoy it, it's my second favorite kind of cucumber salad right now. I also got the cream cheese wontons, the crispyness of the wonton itself was decent and the cheese was so smooth I enjoyed it AND IT WASNT ONLY 4 PEICES GUYS THIS IS IMPORTANT IT WAS LIKE 8 FOR AROUND 8 BUCKS??? WOW. My boyfriend got the pineapple fried rice, I'm not s big fan or fried rice or anything but he really liked it and it was a big portion and he almost finished all of it. I ASKED FOR BOXES FOR EVERYTHING BECAUSE GOOD FOOD LIKE THAT SHOULDNT BE LEFT BEHIND. The atmosphere was super calm and I really enjoyed myself please this place deserves an award.“
“Whether we order takeout or dine-in Hanako's been consistently yummy! Thai food + sushi ... makes it nice to not have to go to two separate restaurants Their pad thai & drunken noodle are solid. I also like their spicy tuna crispy rice & salmon w mango roll. They have an awesome happy hour menu that runs til 7pm - so it's nice to visit before then. Good to support a family business!“
“Food court restaurant, Chinese speaking mostly. Tried their Tom Yum noodle before, a bit salty but good taste. My favorite dish here is their Chinese broccoli with Crispy Pork. Goes great with rice and very tasty. Pineapple fried rice here is also very decent.Overall, great neighborhood/food court restaurant with good dishes for decent money.“
“It’s a very casual dine-in Thai restaurant that serve authentic food, well, based on the menu because I ordered BBQ Chicken ?. Either way, the food was good and it came around $23.The chicken I ordered had a good sauce glazed on top and it also can with rice, a fried snack, a salad (or soup), and a sweet sauce you can pour on your meal which went very well with the rice. After I finished they offered me a small sweet bean soup as dessert for free which was also good. For drinks I ordered a Thai iced tea w/ boba to go along with my meal and a Thai iced coffee to go; both were very good.Next time I’ll try to order something more ambitious than something from the appetizer section.Edit: Around year after, I went back to this place and tried the shrimp cakes. Beautiful, this shrimp tasted good and the bread was very crispy. The black rice pudding is still my favorite.“
“I was looking for eggplant or pumpkin curry with a coconut Thai tea and this place was so good! They didn’t have pumpkin curry, but I got the green curry. It was so rich smooth and yummy, I added more Chile to it. I got it veggie and I also got a Thai tea with coconut milk that was so tasty!Vegetarian options: Coconut Thai tea and Veggie curry, eggplant“
“First time trying it this weekend and I ordered a pound of shrimp with some cajun fries and LET ME TELL you! They will forever have me as a customer. This was literally better than Boiling Crab and other places I have been too. Their seasoning is so garlicy which I love and plus their customer service is on point. Their shrimp are so big and easy to peel. You can def taste the freshness of the food. They were so nice and were asking us if we needed anything. I am so happy I gave this place a chance plus I live a few mins away so I will be here very often. Thank you so much!“
“Great Service, the owner is so nice. Thanked me for the service, along with short ribs (pictured); I also had the papaya salad and basil squid, all of which were amazing. Small store right off the street next to a taco shop!Best customer service I've seen in a while!“
“This was a restaurant I stumbled upon while buying egg tarts nearby at Phu’s bakery. They have a lot of options and have large portions. I had bought the dishes home. Pad see ew, rad na (thick rice noodles with gravy), and pad soon sen. these were all delicious. The catfish dish was alright. I probably won’t order that again as it was quite hard and sweet.Service was good for to-go. Ambiance: They have quite a bit of seating and can accommodate large groups.“
“This is my me and my family's favorite Thai restaurant...of anywhere...ever. We miss eating here so much and are waiting patiently for the news that they are open again so we can eat to our heart's content. The best Pad-see-ew and chicken wings with Thai basil that cannot be made as good anywhere else. The curries incredible! We have never had anything here that wasn't amazing! It's all deliciousness. Please reopen soon!“
“So we stumbled upon this place and it was amazing. The basil chicken 10/10 and the green curry. Was. To. Die. For. I highly recommend you to try this place. The staff was very friendly. We are Thai food enthusiasts and they did not disappoint. We live in Vegas and were out there to see friends. What a good experience. We will be back.Vegetarian options: They can make just about any noodle dish veggie or curry.Parking: You park there close to the doorKid-friendliness: Ya sure bring your kids why not ?“
“as someone who has lived in Thailand for 5 years & accustomed to home cooked Thai meals - this place passes with flying colors compared to other Thai restaurants in the United States (esp Southern & Northern California). I was super happy they had Kow Krok Kapi (shrimp paste rice) - it was almost perfect & still yummy enough to introduce a new dish to friends. We had a ton of food family style for a party of 5 adults & 4 kids: 3 appetizers (spare ribs, chicken wings), 3 noodle dishes (tom yum w wide noodles, boat noodles, dry egg noodle), 2 Thai salads (som tum, nam tok), 2 rice-based dishes (fried rice, krok kapi), 4 rotis, 2 "big gulp" size Thai iced teas (equiv to 6-7 glasses) - I might have missed dishes - amazing value for what we paid even *after* recent price adjustments common across restaurants in 2023. A winner if you are looking for reasonably priced authentic Thai food in the Long Beach area.Vegetarian options: while we personally didn't make the request at this restaurant, Thai food can naturally be done vegan ("J") on request.“
“I'm always nervous to try new Thai food due to my severe seafood and shellfish allergy. However, my first experience here, the staff was very accommodating and walked me through the menu to find something that worked for me. They really went the extra mile and the food hit the spot! Thanks so much! I ordered the chicken pad see ew :)“
“Hello, my family and I have been coming here since 2011. We have all seen this restaurant develop and change. The staff get older and some move on, we enjoy and return to this local because of the familiar tastes and the blissful memories we all enjoyed here for many years. My grandmother, may she rest in peace. My parents prior to separationMy wife as we datedThe memories this restaurant gave use and the opportunity to connect it allotted us are irreplaceable. So, do I recommend? Yes! join our family in creating more memories and enjoy a bowl of chicken Tom kah with a side of jasmine rice and an a la carte beef broccoli dish mix them up and refresh yourself with an iced, Thai tea boba!We recommend it!May many more years of blessings come to us all.Dietary restrictions: Cooks are flexible, just ask - we have had to ask for accommodations before too, not a problem.Parking: You can park in the open lot or in the parking structureWheelchair accessibility: DP parking available“
“CASH ONLY. As of now, this is the closest place to get Thai Boat noodles from where I stay. Normally, my husband and I would prefer to go to LB Thai, but when we don't want to make that drive, we go here. The broth for the Thai Boat is always thick, rich, and full of flavor. I wasn't a big fan of their Hainan Chicken, which they only serve on certain days, but their Rad Na was pretty good. Super saucy with their gravy, but flavorful, nonethless. The pricing is pretty steep here for the serving size that you get. I felt like my plate of Rad Na didn't have too many noodles as I'd normally get elsewhere, but it felt like more veggies instead. I didn't really feel full after my meal, but it was fine. I wasn't trying to feel super stuffed either, I guess. But this is the place you want to go in the north for Thai Boat cravings. Free parking in plaza.“
“The Fried Thai Basil rice was really good. I got Pad Thai (tofu, no eggs, xtra peanuts). It was pretty good, I think I would have liked it a tad spicier. Our server was really nice and place was clean. Tea wasn't the best, but there are other places in plaza to get that.“
“Bright interior and fast service. They serve both traditional Thai and offer a few interesting fusion twists on the classics, of which, the crispy hainan chicken was my favorite. Will return the next time I’m in the area to see what else is good.“
“Came here close to closing time and despite that the generous waiter told us we can order still. A real one. We ordered the yellow chicken curry, water and a Thai tea … all delicious . The waiter suggested a Thai lemon ice tea due to my lactose tolerance and I have to say , it was the greatest thing ever. This shows you how customer service can go a long way.“
“Tasty and delicious Thai food restaurant! Cute cozy and clean dining area. We absolutely liked it,all the food were well organized and the servers were very friendly and nice. I don’t exactly remembered what appetizers i had (but it’s in the photo i posted) please try that it was “
“Love Thai and the drunken noodles are my favorite specially spicy with shrimpAnd #4 season wow I drove from lemoore that’s 4 hours away this place is worthy of it and it has a tv where u can watch family feud and eat at the same timeWheelchair accessibility: It has handicap parking and wheelchair accessible I’m disabled I have a prosthetic leg and the walk from parking to front door is not far at all“
