“We went to the Newport Beach location a couple of weeks ago. This was my first time ordering an acai bowl. The staff was very helpful and patient when I was building my bowl. Overall, from the time we walked in to the time we left, the staff was extremely friendly and nice.“

The avocado toast was a perfect blend of new age and home style. Avocado was fresh and topped off with cucumber that had the right amount of crunch. My friend ordered the OG pink and pb banana bagel, which I was encouraged to try next time!“

This was well worth quitting my semi vegan practices. was delightful, and I haven’t seen color changing spoons anywhere else, they also have some pretty cool attractions to visit while waiting for ice cream like a trinket box and a claw machine. “The food was really good, and the prices for decent. When we got there, it was only my friend and I. Though as the day progressed a lot of people came and went. The service was excellent and the server as well as what I think could have been the owner or the manager keep coming and asking if there was anything that we needed. “We love Joy. My family have been regulars for many many years. Food is awesome. Service is great, servers friendly. Only bummer, when we, as a family, went to celebrate my birthday on Saturday, we presented a gift certificate my husband & I were gifted from my Kids. It was issued at the end of 2019, expired at the end of 2020. Because of Covid we did not venture out until late last year. They did not not honor it. “Jack's is a step above Norms and 5 steps above house of pancakes. I enjoy their menu which I've had about 5 times and each time I order something different. Service is always friendly, quick and the food is very decent. My son didn't like his steak which probably was frozen cause he said it was a bit Gray in the middle..and He said the consistency was more like a chicken fried steak... I've had that before and had no problem but other than that everything else was good.“
