“This is my go-to spot for a fresh bowl — Los Compadres Pan is one of the best bakeries around Pico Rivera! Their bread is always excellent, and the sweet bread is amazing too. Their manjar (filling) is hands down the best in the area. The prices are so good you could count the amount you spend on two hands. Definitely worth checking out if you love quality and flavor!

“Bakeries are plentiful in this area, so what sets one apart? Cleanliness, friendliness, selection, and quality. This bakery meets all of your expectations and needs, and exceeds them. The best part, they have much later hours than most bakeries. My kids enjoy going in to pick out their favorites and the team there is very friendly and helpful. My only complaint, I haven't tried anything that I DON'T like, so I'll have to keep going back!“

“Was it horribly hungry but wanted something and they told me about their special. We get half of any of their sandwiches, fries and a soup, I had the potato soup and it was so thick and cheesy. I used it as a dip. Price was inexpensive considering you're sitting out with someone taking care of you. Very impressed. Ate the soup and fries first. So they're not in the picture.“

“If you want some very tasty tamales you have to go get some try it at Ramos Bakery. The Mexican sweet bread is soft and so so good too, they are made daily like their tamales so fresh. Just a little hole in the wall place, but that's the kind that turn out to be the greatest, Right?????. Don't go to late because the tamales don't last long. Oh and they make home made champurrado. “Very pleased with this location. The young lady greeted us and let us know the specials. Answered all our questions. The location was clean. A lot of choices of cookies. She warmed up the cookies we were going to eat then and there. A lot of parking at the time that I went, which was on a Sunday around 6:30 pm. They sell merch, the t shirts were pretty cool.“

“I went to Aloha Stacks for breakfast on July 3rd. When I got there the line was out the door, but it moved pretty quickly. We ordered and got a table very easily. The food came very quickly and the wait staff was very attentive, checking to see if we needed anything several times. I had the chicken katsu and waffles and my companion had strawberry crepes and a side of kalua pork. All were delicious. It was very busy but they didn't rush us out. Parking is difficult...I parked on the street nearby.“

“Smoking Tiger is my go to chain coffee place and this location is no exception! Service here is always pleasant, accommodating and quick!

All coffee matcha and teas are expertly crafted, and you can tell in each sip. The pastries are giving french-korean vibes and are well executed.

My favorite is the smoking Spaniard, banana milk latte, matcha latte with cold foam and Chai latte with cold foam.

Also a great place to study and get some work down with great tunes always playing in the background.“
