“My first time there wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Upon going in they had a nice little crowd, the staff was nice and helpful. So my box of 4 cookies $19 was brownie batter, not bad, could use some nuts walnuts, or pecans, . My favorite cookie chocolate chip also could use some nuts walnuts or pecans and cooked a little longer. Next was funnel cake. Kind of like that one crunchy, not sure if it really tasted like funnel cake, but I liked it. Then cake batter thins not too bad either.“

“Yeah, this place was great. Easy to find lots of parking. They had a big venue with lots of options. Everything was a great value. Nice and clean and friendly. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. The wait time was not long at all. The churros were very tasty. I enjoyed the ice cream although I wish it was soft serve. Definitely would go back.“

“Oh my gosh. Let me tell you about the ham and cheese croissant at this place. Absolutely phenomenal. Every time I go to another donut shop and get a ham and cheese croissant they ALWAYS fall short to ABC. 11/10 I mean I literally dream about this croissant. Even the doughnuts. Always fresh and delicious especially that cronut!!! GOSH freaking fire yo. You’ve never had a good donut or croissant until you’ve been to ABC.“

“Pasteleria 3 Luceros is a hidden gem in Downey with some of the best churros, flan, and cakes I’ve had locally. Esperanza and her family have been running the shop for over 20 years and you can genuinely taste the care they put into everything they make.
Everything tastes fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. The churros were crispy, warm, and honestly addicting.
If you’re looking for cakes for birthdays, parties, or any special occasion, I highly recommend supporting this local family-owned business. Definitely one of Downey’s underrated spots.“

“The atmosphere is amazing. The front of the restaurant looks like an old timey diner that has been very well maintained but not remodeled (which is a good thing). In the back is a bar which is quite intimate and a nice place to have a late breakfast on a Sunday morning.“

“My absolute FAVORITE and ONLY place I will eat bread. My personal favorites are the mini pan de sal and pan de leche. Both of these and all the others are like heaven and n your mouth. They are soooooo fluffy and deliciously made that I could never eat any other pan.“

“So sad that this place is so far from me, it's pretty clean everything looks so delicious, the line when I went wasn't too bad and it flew by quick, that tres leches cake BOMB! My mom's not too much of a sweets fans but she loved the cake, it's a bit pricey.“
