“recommended to me — I wasn’t disappointed. There was a bit of a line when I arrived, but it moved quickly and the staff were helpful, even with all the hustle. The ordering process was super easy, and the space felt clean and welcoming.

The cookies themselves? Genuinely excellent. Big, warm, and packed with flavour — definitely lived up to the hype. I tried a couple of the weekly specials and would’ve gone back again if I’d had more time in Downey.

“I was impressed how one girl delivered exceptional service on such a busy Sunday. Very swiftly yet calm and helpful to indecisive customers. I had the dulce de leche first and it was amazing and the freddo expresso transported me back to Greece. Not everone gets it on point. I had to go back for more after my lunch and I got a little creative and created my own and was glad to see that someone else was there to assist the young girl out.“

The corn is the right kind and they prepare it very well but they didn’t put lime juice in my esquites which isn’t very good. Maybe they forgot.

Service is very good.

“It’s a small little hole in the wall place, but you will not be disappointed. Fresh yummy desserts, they offer a variety of things. I’m a fan of the little pancakes with the fresh fruit and variety of drizzles they offer. The workers there are really polite.“

“Cute dessert spot that feels reminiscent of classic HK/TW dessert shops. We came on a Saturday night and were seated right away—no wait. It’s largely a self-service experience (ordering straight from the menu and servers are basically just runners).

Prices are a little on the high side, but kudos to them for delivering dishes that actually look like the photos. Therefore, there are plenty of Instagram-worthy items for those looking for that! Good experience, but not necessarily a repeatable one.

(For taste, I do recommend the mango/grape dessert - though that’s not as unique as the other items).“

I ordered the Green Tea Snow with Oreos, Strawberries & Popping Boba combination. I loved it. I also ordered the Pistachio & Matcha Green Tea Macarons & the Milk Tea.
