“What a wonderful bakery! I needed a last minute birthday cake and the staff here was so incredibly helpful and made us the exact cake we needed in time for the party, plus matching macarons. We will definitely be back everyone loved the desserts.“
“It's Cold Stone...you know the routine. Pick your ice cream and what size you want then choose what you want them to mix into it. They smack and slap it together on a (wait for it) cold stone. Serve and enjoy.I got coffee ice cream with Heath bar pieces mixed in.The coffee ice cream had above average flavor. Not weak but could have been more bold. The creaminess was right on. Usually the mix-in pieces are small but this time they were monstrously huge and plentiful. I liked it! It was like they just took one swing of a hammer to a Heath bar and dumped the whole bar of chunks into the ice cream. There is some seating out in front of the store which is where I sat and ate my "like it" size cup of ice cream. Staff were pleasant and efficient and did a superb job of spanking the ice cream.“

“Ashley is wonderful! She was so friendly and even as I started to say my order, I had to catch myself. She came up asking how my day was and then I apologized and said good thank you, how is yours? That meant a lot to me. Then I placed my order. It's rare for people to love their job and love people. You can tell Ashley loves serving the people. I know some might see this as just her doing her job, but the kindness she displayed deserves to be recognized. I have been dealing with removal of cancer and bad issues came up after. When anyone takes the time like Ashley did to see how her customers are it makes you feel wanted at that business. I hope management recognizes the hard work she does. Thank you again Ashley!“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Treat Yourself Keto, and it was an exceptional experience! As a first-time visitor, I was greeted by the owner, who was incredibly friendly and helpful in recommending dishes. I decided to try the Linda Melt, and it was easily one of the best burgers I've had in a long time – flavorful, juicy, and utterly satisfying. I also indulged in the Carne Asada Nachos, which were not only delicious but also impressively keto-friendly with fresh ingredients that clearly showed the owner’s dedication and love for her food. The highlight of my visit was the churro cheesecake, a delightful dessert that stole my heart! It's evident that Treat Yourself Keto places a strong emphasis on quality and taste, making it a standout in the keto food scene. As I'm in town for work, finding this gem was a highlight, and I’m eagerly planning my next visit before heading home. If you’re looking for an amazing keto dining experience, support this wonderful business – you won’t regret it!“
“My parents have visited in the past and told me that whenever I’m in L.A. to check out Porto’s. Well, I came down from Vegas for the day and as I was getting ready to head back I made sure to stop by the store in Buena Park to pick up some goodies as I was coming from Huntington Beach.I picked up a selection of savory and sweet items to try out. As I am half Cuban I remember eating the same items as my grandmother made and sure enough the items I picked out had spot on flavor. Next time I’m back in Southern California I am going to purchase even more to bring back. The price per item is really inexpensive as well. The bakery inside is large with plenty of seating. They have 2 counters to order from as well as a side cafe.“
“The process of ordering from beginning to end was so easy and fast. I ordered same day and was shocked at how fast items would be ready. Very thankful I came across redondo dog will definitely be ordering again. My dogs and their friends loved all the treats. Very easy to digest and no one had any issues and the treats were so cute.“
“What a delightful bakery and coffee shop! I stumbled upon this gem looking around Chinatown for some boba. Their drinks are on the steeper side but they are so good!! Even the cups are cute. I saved my cup after the boba cause the quality of it is so well made that I have to use it again. For 2 milk tea bobas it was $11.They specialize in custom cakes and had a few on display that were mind blowing. The Hello Kitty goth cake was next level. You can find baked treats, custards, mini cakes, and snow ice here ☺️?There’s some seating inside and along the window a few tables and chairs. It’s a delightful spot to look out and gaze at busy Chinatown.Parking is available along the streets in metered spots.Everyone working there was super nice and the service was fast despite the line.“
“Last minute search for a breakfast/brunch type spot and found Marin Cafe. It's located in an area off of Rosmead that shares a small parking lot with Zapien's Salsa Grill. It is a small lot but there's parking on the other side. I went while it was raining in the morning around 9 so it was pretty empty. The cafe is a small shop with 3 four-seater tables so not good for huge groups. But the decor was really cute and cozy. A mix of cafe and small bakery. Love the painted walls with the cake and bakery items painted on. There was a large display case of various bakery good from conchas, to croissants, to cakes and cake slices. Everything looked so good. Brisa (I hope I didn't spell her name incorrectly, apologies!) was our barista and she was lovely. Very friendly and let us take our time, she answered my bf's questions about the food. We chatted here and there and then placed our orders with her. She kept us updated on our food as they made the wrong sandwich for me and needed to remake it which was no problem and appreciated. The food was delicious! We ordered a concha, with an Abuelita hot latte, a mocha hot latte, breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich. Recommend the Abuelita hot latte for sure, perfect on a rainy cold day. The chocolatey spice from the Abuelita was so good with the espresso, the mocha was great as well great blend of chocolate and coffee. Now the breakfast sandwich was bomb, presentation and taste were great. Eggs were hot and fluffy, bacon crispy, with ham, and refreshing tomato avocado and lettuce with a honey mustard type sauce. It also came with a side of potato salad, pickles and banana peppers. The potato salad is EXACTLY how I like it, not mayonnaise-y and sweet. Brekfast burrito was nice and filling too, bf said he'd definitely add bacon next time as mine was crispy in my sandwich hash browns were crispy and the creamy lime cilantro sauce was so good with it. I also ordered a slice of the mocha tres leches cake...so good not overly sweet and mocha wasn't too strong. The cake was overly saturated with milk which I would've like but it had the right amount of moistness so not to make it soggy. All in all definitely reccomend this little gem of a cafe. Owners and staff are all friendly and the food and drinknwere fantastic. Definitely coming back for more cake!“
“I came here on a Thursday so it wasn't too crowded. Stopped by before heading to the AngelCity Market. I tried the Yuzu Jasmine Lemonade, Cheese & Spicy Peppers Potato Ball and the Chicken Torta. All very delicious!Parking: The parking structure is behind Portos and it's good for 2hr parking as long as you're a customer.“
