“I am new to Bellflower, and haven't really acclimated yet. I needed a birthday cake asap. I am so happy I found Fantasy Cakes Bakery. The owner took my order and he was very personable.. I ordered the cake Friday afternoon and it was ready for pick-up Saturday morning... The bakery was not even a five minute drive from my house, lots of ample parking in the back, and the shop is too cute.. that whole area has lots of curb appeal... I don't ever drive that way (work in the opposite direction). The cake was adorable, it was perfect... it wasn't an elaborate cake, but it was perfect for me. I wasn't able to take any pictures, it was eaten in like, 2.4 seconds. I don't even like cake or sweets, but I liked that cake... The cake had lemon cream filling and vanilla frosting, it was moist and just very delicious... all the February birthday names fit perfectly and they loved it... one of my nieces kinda had a tear.. not sure cause I remembered her birthday or maybe because she was suppose to give up sweets for lent.. “I stopped by and redeemed my birthday ice cream. There are so many delicious choices. I asked if I could get 2 flavors and they said no. I was torn between peanut butter in chocolate, or jamoca almond fudge. I chose jamoca - coffee ice cream with almonds and a big swirl of chocolate fudge. “My parents have visited in the past and told me that whenever I’m in L.A. to check out Porto’s. Well, I came down from Vegas for the day and as I was getting ready to head back I made sure to stop by the store in Buena Park to pick up some goodies as I was coming from Huntington Beach.I picked up a selection of savory and sweet items to try out. As I am half Cuban I remember eating the same items as my grandmother made and sure enough the items I picked out had spot on flavor. Next time I’m back in Southern California I am going to purchase even more to bring back. The price per item is really inexpensive as well.The bakery inside is large with plenty of seating. “Last minute search for a breakfast/brunch type spot and found Marin Cafe. It's located in an area off of Rosmead that shares a small parking lot with Zapien's Salsa Grill. It is a small lot but there's parking on the other side. I went while it was raining in the morning around 9 so it was pretty empty. The cafe is a small shop with 3 four-seater tables so not good for huge groups. But the decor was really cute and cozy. A mix of cafe and small bakery. Love the painted walls with the cake and bakery items painted on. There was a large display case of various bakery good from conchas, to croissants, to cakes and cake slices. Everything looked so good. Brisa (I hope I didn't spell her name incorrectly, apologies!) was our barista and she was lovely. Very friendly and let us take our time, she answered my bf's questions about the food. We chatted here and there and then placed our orders with her. She kept us updated on our food as they made the wrong sandwich for me and needed to remake it which was no problem and appreciated. The food was delicious! We ordered a concha, with an Abuelita hot latte, a mocha hot latte, breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich. Recommend the Abuelita hot latte for sure, perfect on a rainy cold day. The chocolatey spice from the Abuelita was so good with the espresso, the mocha was great as well great blend of chocolate and coffee. Now the breakfast sandwich was bomb, presentation and taste were great. Eggs were hot and fluffy, bacon crispy, with ham, and refreshing tomato avocado and lettuce with a honey mustard type sauce. It also came with a side of potato salad, pickles and banana peppers. The potato salad is EXACTLY how I like it, not mayonnaise-y and sweet. Brekfast burrito was nice and filling too, bf said he'd definitely add bacon next time as mine was crispy in my sandwich hash browns were crispy and the creamy lime cilantro sauce was so good with it. I also ordered a slice of the mocha tres leches cake...so good not overly sweet and mocha wasn't too strong. The cake was overly saturated with milk which I would've like but it had the right amount of moistness so not to make it soggy. All in all definitely reccomend this little gem of a cafe. Owners and staff are all friendly and the food and drinknwere fantastic. Definitely coming back for more cake!“

She was not available on our wedding date and I was really sad about it but she suggested I have the cake delivered the day before. When I entered, the space was very clean, organized, and just very appealing to the eye. The aesthetic was very cute and definitely my vibe. They offer a bunch of different yummies including cookies, cake, cobbler, and of course, cupcakes. The lady was very sweet and helpful. I went with a dozen cupcakes. I got a variety of different flavors. I got red velvet, chocolate, vanilla, cookies & cream, and a few others.The cupcakes were so good!! “Gemmae's has always been our go-to when it comes to family parties. We usually order the ube cheesecake and lumpia for pickup. The flavor and quality are always consistent, so we always go back. The online ordering system is very convenient; thus, picking it up at specific times has never been a problem! They use real ube, not those powder kinds they use at boba shops. I know.. I grew up mixing ube during fiestas in Silang, Cavite. The lumpia is excellent, too! The size is bigger than the typical lumpia from other Filipino joints. The inside of Gemmae's is excellent. However, there is no indoor dining, and it's solely for pick-up. One thing to note is the parking. It's situated in a small lot and can get full quickly. But there's plenty of free parking in the street. I will keep coming back here for our orders. The customer service is excellent, and the food/dessert is fantastic!“

But I needed mine to be eggless bc of his egg allergy. Everyone I called said I needed to order a week in advance. Gladis not only made themonly a day in advance, but she adjusted the ingredients to make them eggless!! They came out beautifully and everyone loved them! “Review is based off their Three Kings Bread. We arrived the day of Three Kings Day and they had more than plenty of breads in a fairly large and extra large size. They were kind with their service, and accept either cash or zelle for payment. The bread is probably the best "pan de Reyes" we have had to date. It was very soft, fragrant (not in a bad way but a hint enough to taste the yummy spices in their bread), the fruit decor also was soft and delicious.“

“I used Pin Up Cakes for my wedding and loved how my cake turned out! Everything was done online and was super easy. I sent them inspiration pictures of what I wanted and for how many people. I wanted a smaller cake for just me, my husband and our wedding party as we were doing sheet cake for the guests. After sending the pictures, they gave me different options and broke it down by how much each would cost. I loved that they did that!Since I wanted a 2 tier cake, but it was only for 12 people, they gave me the option to make the top tier out of styrofoam to cut costs! They also gave me options on if I wanted them to make flowers out of fondant, or I could bring them flowers and they would put it on, or I could have my florist do it at the venue. This also helped cut cost.I ended up with a strawberry cake with chocolate frosting and it was so delicious! I’m not a big fondant person so I was worried I wasn’t going to like that part, but it was honestly so thin and not super sweet which I was very happy about.“
