“I visited Nonna Mercato for dinner and had a cozy and refined dining experience. The restaurant had a warm Italian-style atmosphere with a comfortable setting that felt inviting for a relaxed evening meal.
We ordered fresh pasta, wood-fired pizza, salad, and sparkling drinks. The food arrived hot and beautifully presented. The pasta had rich flavor, the pizza crust was crisp and light, and everything tasted fresh and balanced. Portions felt satisfying without being overly heavy.
The service was attentive and professional. Orders were handled smoothly, and the pacing of the meal felt calm and well-managed.

“This is Costco for bakery. Huge and crowded. Lines and orders move pretty fast. Dine in and to go available. Parking is crowded most of the time. Bakeries, coffee, and pastries are above average, but not something you gotta have. Prices are reasonable. Good to visit once when near by.
Try the Bensito, very good cookie pastry. Good cake pastry with nice inside truffle fillings.“

“Stopped in with my boys and though we generally have good customer service at most Cold Stones with a couple of exceptions a while back at the Garden Grove location on Chapman, Stephanie provided outstanding customer service from the minute we walked in until the minute we walked out. It wasn't a surprise to find out that she was part of the management team when I asked. Seems that you provide a great example to your teammates.“

“Susy did an amazing job on my mom’s birthday cake. She was able to create an exact replica of the
reference photo that I gave her. The cake was also so good and moist and everyone at the party loved it. There was a little hiccup on our end where one of the letters got damaged in transport and Susy was able to replace it last minute before the party started. Overall a great experience and I would use her again if I need a cake in Long Beach.“

“I have been going to this bakery for many years...about 30 years but not sure if it's the same family. They have always had delicious Mexican bread, pastries, and cakes...now they have added tamales (if you're lucky enough to get them). Great for a quick trip when you need milk or eggs, but you get to treat yourself too.“

“My wife and I came here to use their printer. While we were there I bought a few of the conches pan dulce. I usually will put them in the microwave for about 15 seconds before I eat one. However. These were so fresh that I ate them right out of the bag. My only regret was not buying more“

The combination of sweet & salty was heavenly to my senses. I usually don't like things cloyingly sweet, so the saltiness helped damper the sugar content. Pleasing with each bite, I immensely enjoyed Baskin-Robbins' Game Time ice cream.Service was good. Wait was none existent, as there were no other customers, at the time. Parking is a little tight in the one way lot. Baskin-Robbins is located in between Adalberto's & Pep Boys.A scoop of ice cream in August is a must. More so when it's free! Baskin-Robbins always delights me with their birthday promo, and the difficult part is deciding on which flavor to choose. “Haven’t had Cold Stone in a while. Got the Strawberry Blonde in the largest size (about 12oz) and was surprised it’s now $12.79, almost the price of a lunch! (I usually stick to grocery-store Häagen-Dazs when it’s on sale.)
The Strawberry Blonde is super rich and delicious, more than enough to satisfy my ice cream cravings. The largest size is definitely big enough to share between 2–3 people, and for an occasional treat, it’s actually pretty great.”

“I ordered my vegan birthday cake one week ahead of the date needed, and the cake was ready on time for pick up. This vegan baker is an artist, and working with her to design the cake was very easy, I let her lead the process and the cake was incredibly beautiful.
I don’t think I could have gotten a more beautiful cake even in Los Angeles City.
The cake was delicious, moist, flavorful and a decadent treat. The pickup was quick, and packed to perfection including a no slide patch in side the box so the decorations were not damaged in transport. Decor, a candle, matches, and a cutting knife were all included. The whole process was top notch professional. The attention to detail and presentation showed this bakers passion for her work. I feel that the price was 100% worth it, and competitive for the going rate. The party was awed by the cake, so money well spent. I will definitely be ordering again! Too bad I didn’t get a photo before we cut the cake!
I almost forgot to mention that when the cake was served, the room fell silent because everyone was taken away with how yummy the cake was.“
