“Kikyo Sushi and Sake Bar is a great place to eat some great food. Their handrolled sushi rolls are lit!

We had a California Roll and a rock shrimp roll, and they were perfectly delicious. The rice was plump, with a slight bite with the perfect amount of filling.

A must try is their spicy garlic edamame. Man, they are so flavorful with the right spiciness. You'll be asking for seconds.

The reason for a 4 rating is that the bulgogi beef was a bit dry. It fell a little short in flavor and its traditional sweetness.

They have a great 5 dollar "thirst-quenching" draft beer that goes perfectly with your meal of choice.

Will I be back...YES! In a heartbeat and you should too, when you're in the area.”

“This place is delicious but being a fatass I like everything. The quality of their chicken is great, moist, flavorful with the option of hotness. But the toast may end up burnt unfortunately. The wait time is usually 5-6 minutes but worth it since it’s being prepared fresh. The prices can be a tad pricey for a family of 5 but worth it for the quality and convenience. “I was there during the week shortly after opening. It was nice and quiet, which I do appreciate. I had a chorizo burrito, it very good. The green salsa was flavorful. They have café de olla, which for my taste was warm, but tasted really good. Overall it was a good experience.”

“There is no quicker, high quality, fresher, more delicious food than what you can get at every table especially for the price point. This business is based off social justice and I love that and will always continue to frequent them.

Some of my top favorites are the Backyard Barbecue plate, lemon chicken caesar, trap Curry Jamaican curry plate, and the Nashville hot chicken pasta.

The chef or the chefs that they work with clearly know what they're doing. This isn't some watered down Suburban version of these dishes these dishes have full flavor kick and you're going to get all the nutrition facts right there on the front label.

If you are vegetarian or vegan there are options for you.

If I am not a paid spokesperson but this is my third review I've done for this company simply because I'm a healthcare provider and I care about my community. I hope we see more places like this pop up instead of other big box fast food chains that negatively impact the health of our community.

If you want Bland watered down flavorless low spice food this is not the place for you.

It's walking distance from many places and they will warm up the food for you on arrival. Certain days offer a discount on the meals as well, have to check with the staff.

Dietary restrictions: Good for vegans and vegetarians”

Parking: There’s plenty of parking when you can’t find street parking go to the back of steel craft there’s parking lot there and also plenty of parking by City Library of course a little walk but it’s worth it! There’s also parking across the street behind the business there too there’s another parking lot ?️ like I said just a little walk but definitely worth enjoying what Bellflower has to offer with all it’s restaurants so close by.

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of food options for kiddos and space to walk or dance to music ? plus which kiddo doesn’t like fries especially crinkle cut fries and burgers

Wheelchair accessibility: I have a walker and I was able to get around comfortably and safely around while ordering my food and picking it up when ready and sitting while enjoying the band and people dancing. Bathrooms are accessible too!”

“This location was formerly known as Lickity Splitz, and it used to be my favorite spot when I was a kid. I often got a banana split or chili cheese fries and played basketball at Thompson Park across the street. Unfortunately, Lickity Splitz closed down years ago, and El Torazo, a Mexican restaurant with a unique twist on Mexican cuisine, replaced it.

I have visited this place many times and always go for their tacos because they are large and full of flavor. Today, I dropped by for a quick snack as I wasn't very hungry but needed something to keep me going through the afternoon. It was around 1 pm on a Wednesday, and a few customers in the restaurant appeared to be employees taking their lunch break. I ordered a small drink with a Mexican Taco Al pastor, which totaled around $8 with a tip. I ordered only one because I remembered they were big, and two tacos would have been too much for me. My taco took about 5 minutes to prepare and bring to my table.

When my taco arrived, I was surprised that it was a standard tortilla size but filled with al pastor meat. One thing I like about this place is that all their tortillas are handmade, giving the food an authentic Mexican flavor. The al pastor meat was perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the tortilla was hot and freshly made. Even though it was a regular-sized taco, it was pretty filling because of the thick tortillas and generous meat filling.

In conclusion, I will keep coming back to El Torazo. They offer excellent customer service and serve delicious, flavorful food that carries on the tradition of my childhood favorite restaurant, Lickity Spliz.”

But besides that, this location is a must visit!!

I've been a loyal customer of Tacos Raul for decades! Their tacos are consistently good, and I love their sancocho, a hearty stew that's perfect for a cold day. The horchata is refreshing, but their al pastor is the real star. I usually opt for tacos or burritos, but their tortas are also worth trying. Parking is convenient, and the staff is friendly and mostly Spanish-speaking. Their salsa is a delicious addition to any meal, and I always ask for extra. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food with a long-standing history, Tacos Raul is a must-visit.”
