The couple that run this place are from Guadalajara, Mexico, and they are super friendly and give the best customer service possible! Stop by and try it out they also sell Fresas con crema, Mangoniada, hot cheetos locos, Esquites, duro preparados, and many more things.”

“La Doña Tamales never disappoints. Their tamales are always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked every time I go. You can really taste the quality and care in the food. And the champurrado is sooo good -thick, rich, and super chocolatey, just how it should be. It’s the perfect combo, especially on a chilly day. Definitely one of my go-to spots when I’m craving real comfort food.”

“I have been coming here since I was a child. 40 years later and all though, the workers have changed, the recipes really haven't. The bread is usually fresh, depending on the time you come in. The prices have gone up, the good old days when sweet bread was $0.10 - $0.25 and bolillo that was 4 for a dollar (5 on sale). Although the prices have changed with the times, I'm happy most of the bread tastes similar. I would suggest trying them out.”

From the food to the atmosphere, I felt like I was in another dimension with the unique take on regional cooking styles to the sound quality of the music. You could taste the freshness in the ingredients — even the cheese in the dessert was clearly homemade and freshly made. This is such a unique and special place. Thank you for a wonderful experience. This was the best food I had in a long time.”

“Bento boxes are of great quality here. The attention to detail of this curated meal definitely lets your eyes feast first. All the little sides taste amazing, especially the candied sweet potatoes. The vegetables alternate between sweet and salty to balance out the meal. The Scottish salmon and mackerel are cooked to perfection. The little yolk in the rice also adds a nice touch to mix in and eat.”

“Came here on a whim for a solo date. My server, Logan - was incredibly knowledgeable about wine and helped me choose an amazing seafood pasta off the menu. At first I wasn’t sure about the squid ink, but it was probably one of the best pastas I have ever eaten. The affogato for dessert was delicious as well.

Side note: They were playing cool music, early Black Sabbath off Vol. 4 🤘🏼
