“I really love the food, but it is not a place to go often, it is super, super expensive for a few pieces of Chicken and a slide of a white bread. No drinks included, I pay almost $30 dollars yes you heard correct almost $30. If you want to spend that much for flavor go for it. The last time I was there was last month, it is really close ti my job but when I realized how expensive it is, I said to myself " you better not"???? ????”

“The La Chingona Torta is massive! The amount of meat and ingredients packed in it makes it almost two meals worth of a torta. The amount of meat was decent and it had pierna, milanesa, jamon, chorizo, salchicha & bacon. It seemed to go together well except for the size of it being unable to eat neatly.

I ordered a large pizza supreme and 6 piece wings. It took 15 minutes-ish to get my pizza.The pizza was actually really good, the ingredients ratio was spot on, good crust and underbelly on the pizza, just enough sauce to give that savory taste but not too much so that it makes the pizza soggy. “What we come for here is the carne asada by the pound. I buy the meat, beans, and salsa and make my tacos at home. They give you onion, lemon, and salsa. My family enjoys it. The red salsa is unique it's delicious brings back childhood memories. They used to give jalapeños and radishes, but I guess they no longer do. They should put a salsa bar outside for customers to get their garnishments. I'm sure they will get more customers to come back. They have the same system as 30 years ago, and that is not always good.”

“I Love Tams. ❤️ but they charge too much.They like so many other burger restaurants, ie ,Jim's, Pete's, Pepe's overcharge. My main concern is cleanliness and safe distribution of food. No one should be allowed to stand and talk over the competed preparation of a plate of food. Germs are often transmitted that way. Keep food covered or away from the customers that it does not belong to. I will not eat food that someone else from outside has been breathing over, maybe coughing and sneezing while no one is watching. We Americans are not third world. We valve sanitary conditions and good health maintenance. Some uneducated people have laughed at these same comments. But the sick and dead ones won't find their situation funny when it could have been prevented. Wash hands before preparation foods, don't talk over someone's prepared meal,and keep it covered until they pick up their order. Also, keep bathrooms clean. Most employees are very nice.”

“The XLB is ok and the flavorful dipping sauce adds to the juiciness. Smoothies with or without boba are good and sweetness can be adjusted. I find the matcha green tea has a hint of chocolate flavor everytime I order one. The rolls are ok but the runny fluorescent green wasabi is never ok. The chicken bento #1 is my usual and the California roll is made with sushi rice. The chicken is chopped up in small bite sizes and may contain gristle. If you don't like a lot of teriyaki sauce poured over the chicken and rice, let them know to go easy or ask for a container on the side. Ramen bowls are great in the winter. Lots of other tasty menu items to choose from. The staff is friendly and efficient.

“I always passed by this place, and the last time I went by, there was a line of cars waiting to order at their drive-thru, which got my attention. I visited for the first time on a Wednesday afternoon to see what all the hype was about. Glancing at their menu, I noticed they offer various mariscos and Mexican foods. Since I wasn't hungry, I ordered two tacos, one de asada and the other al pastor, the total came to be $4.60, which I thought was a good deal. The ambiance was relaxed, but it was pretty loud due to being located on a busy street (Rosecrans and Paramount). The seating was limited, but they had a drive-thru, which explained the line of cars I had seen previously.

It took about 5 minutes for my food to be prepared, and I also helped myself to some guacamole sauce from their condiment bar. My tacos were served in double tortillas filled with meat. The Asada was perfectly cooked and had a really good flavor. The al pastor was also delicious, and the guacamole sauce enhanced its taste.

In conclusion, if Tacos Giyo #2 can serve two delicious tacos, I can only imagine how tasty the rest of their food must be. I look forward to returning to try their mariscos.
