“Not sure how I haven’t left a review here yet—this is my go-to sushi spot in the area. I always start off with the spicy garlic edamame and calamari, both great appetizers. Depending on the day, if you order a beer you sometimes get a free fried corn poppers appetizer, which is actually surprisingly good.

My usual go-to rolls are the Hungry Roll and Samurai Roll, but honestly everything I’ve tried here has been solid. Service is always good as well.“

“This is always a great spot for a quick lunch bite when craving Hawaiian Food.

Its a small business privately owned and service is always good here. Ambience is not much to write about - its functional and good for a quick lunch bite. They've have got a few small tables to grab a quick lunch and food is in the mark.

My goto dishes here are Garlic Shrimp Plate, Chicken Katsu and Beef BBQ. Can't go wrong withe either of these.

Everything was delicious, I did not leave a crumb on my plate. I need more reasons to be in the area to come back again and again.“

“Truly an adorable spot to grab some bomb cultured food. Its like stepping into a villa in sinaloa. When you walk in the door the nicest women will greet you in Spanish eager to take your order. The food was truly awesome. Had a chorizo potato breakfast burrito and it was truly a real Mexican breakfast burrito. They were even nice enough to throw in chips and salsa with the meal. “Came here to pick up some pastries from too good to go, ended up leaving with a hefty box of pastries and AN AMAZING TURKEY SANDWICH!!! The bread was wonderfully toasted, the tomato was juicy, and all of the ingredients went together perfectly. “The pastrami burger special was really good and reasonably priced. The tacos grandes were alright, the meat was kinda chewy. The deep fried ores were 10 out of 10. The resturant was really clean and had hand sanitizer at every table too. The women working there were really friendly too. Would recommend“

“Classic roadside burger stand with big portions. The breakfast burritos are especially good, packed with eggs, bacon, and potatoes. The chili cheese fries are huge, definitely something to share. Staff is quick and friendly even during the lunch rush. A neighborhood staple.“

“Decided to try this restaurant and there were pros and cons with my food choices. 1) Pollo a la braza was amazingly seasoned and delicious, would come come back for it 2) Salad was a good sized plate, would order again 3) plantains were not good, they were green; tasted horrible 4) the Picarones were okay, but it was my 1st time eating them. I wouldn’t definitely not order them again.“

“The location was staffed by two people when I walked in, seemed kind of slow for them and they were excellent in providing quick and easy service to place my order. I ordered a large pizza supreme and 6 piece wings. It took 15 minutes-ish to get my pizza.The pizza was actually really good, the ingredients ratio was spot on, good crust and underbelly on the pizza, just enough sauce to give that savory taste but not too much so that it makes the pizza soggy. The dough was also delicious. The wings were not my favorite but we’re not bad.Overall, good experience and great food. 9.5/10 would come back.“

“I ordered a Carne asada burrito and it was so good 😋and the guy that took my order was so nice! I didn't have enough for a soda and he made it enough (I ordered 2 burritos and he gave me 2 sodas) I thought that was so nice of him to do that. There's not that many people that still do nice things for people. I appreciated that 😁.“

“Hand made tortillas, authentic great tasting Mexican food and they also have cebada (barley) water. Place is tiny and gets packed at times. Parking lot may be hard to get a spot on the weekend so I usually park on the street. Been coming here for over 14 years.“

“Been going here for years the orange chicken is best along with the ramen. Good size serving as well. The ramen is always hot and has never disappointed. There is a worker that speaks spanish really good so for our Spanish speakers. Cant wait to go again“

I believe my family and went here when it was owned by Tacos Raul but tacos El Giyo is hands down better than King Taco King Taco is stingy as hell. Unlike this place you are free to get as much hot sauce without them looking like it comes out of their paycheck like in king taco.

“Actually so yummy. I parked nearby thinking I was going to try a different taco place, but the truck wasn't there that day. There were some local men just chilling at their truck in the lot, so we asked them if they recommended a taco spot, and they recommended Tacos Giyo which was within walking distance. I got the tostada de ceviche, which was literally a whole tray of shrimp and 2 tostada shells, and 1 cabeza taco. When it came out the window, I was literally shocked at how much food I got for the price. It was all under $8, and it couldn't get any better than this honestly. The flavors and balance were great, the staff were nice, the generosity in the volume of food, and the prices were amazing. The cabeza was wonderful--the perfect tender fatty meat 💜. I'll be back if I'm ever in the area again!

“Stopped by for some comfort food and I was not disappointed! The portions are huge, enough for 2 people. We ended up getting the la torta chingona, tacos de papa, the carnitas plate, birria en su jugo, and the carne asada/chorizo fries! Prices are very decent. My only complaint: there's no parking what so ever, unless you park on the side alley thats next to this fondita! Totally worth your trip!
Update: this place definitely changed ownership. The food is different. As much as the new owner/s tried to keep it the same, the taste of the food is very different. However, the food is still decent and the employees are very welcoming!“

“The food is amazing and the people are always nice to me as a black person ordering from them. They’re even say the order number in English and Spanish when they think it’s my turn even though I understand enough basic Spanish to get my order lol…It’s just my order is always a little messed up. I always ask for no onions or cilantro and it’s like they put it extra on it lol..I personally don’t think they do it on purpose and it’s not their fault that I sometimes don’t check until I get home. I just wish I didn’t have to pick a million onions off my food. The food is really good though. They’re close to where I live and they season their meats really well. I only take one star off because PLEASE STOP PUTTING ONIONS AND CILANTRO ON MY FOOD WHEN I SAY NO ONIONS AND CILANTRO lol..Other than that I could eat there breakfast, lunch, and dinner 💯💯💯“

“This is my first time here recommended by a friend it's only to go orders they have no seating on the inside but the restaurant in front they say hold some menu items from there and you can sit down and eat and use their restrooms. For California roll and calamari roll it took only about 30 minutes. They were extremely busy customer service was good. FYI, don't forget to mention if you enjoy chopsticks because you'll be disappointed that all they supply is forks in the closed bag they give you. Will come back if in the area again.“

“IHOP called and I answered, hungry hungry hungry this morning. My spouse and I made a visit for a wonderful delicious breakfast. I ordered the famous P.A.N.C.A.K.E.s with a some steak and eggs taste was just as I expected. The atmosphere was nice the service was good. Thanks to Jovanie for making this a pleasant experience.. I love it when our tips are worth it. I also had to signup for the pancoin rewards program. You can never go wrong with a fulfillment of pancakes.“
