“For the moderate price and ambiance, it all worked. Two adults and two preteens who eat out often. The chicken lettuce wrap was spot on. Crispy, clean, non-soggy lettuce; perfectly seasoned, savory chicken. We can eat this anytime. The crab wontons were good; they just needed a little more seasoning. Cucumber salad was spot on for summer: fresh, lively & crunchy. The children's sweet and sour chicken and kid's Lo Mein resulted in two clean plates. The only thing we did not like and sent back was the lychee lemonade: water with tons of sugar, really like twice the sugar of a soda can, no taste of lychee, and vague chemical lemony. Service was good, attentive and cordial. We will come back.“

“I ordered their new Spicy Orange Chicken Fries and they were good. Good flavor and good portions. Not too spicy for me so I asked for extra chili oil. I also ordered their house special chow mein XTRA spicy and this definitely was spicy. Both dishes were good in flavor for the price. The only bad is the wait time for the dishes. Since they're popular now, expect to wait 30-60 minutes so order ahead!“

“This Chinese place is just too cute and adorable. They have great food, be it take out, delivery or dine in. We have done all three. It can get crowded and I don't think they take reservations. It is worth the wait.

The service is nice. The staff is wonderful and they know the menu well. You can call ahead and your food will be there for you to pick up. We often just have it delivered.

All of their food is super. We really love all their rice dishes and they are packed with flavor. Their shrimp dishes are really good and anything with crab will make you happy.

Parking is easy and yes, you will have to wait in line, but again, it is well worth it. So have fun and enjoy. It is also very clean, including the bathrooms.“

Opted for the beef bone broth; however, there was a taste/smell to it, reminiscent of lamb (I only got beef), which was unexpected and a bit off-putting for me.

Service: Decent. While it isn't a standard sit-down restaurant, be prepared to be charged a gratuity for a party of six or more.

Ambiance: Casual. Pretty spacious and clean, including the ingredient + sauce bar.

Parking: Ample parking, but located in a relatively busy/ high-traffic plaza, so parking could take a minute, during peak hours.“

“This place was always my go to when I was younger the food is bomb and the price is reasonable the cook and the cashier lady are really sweet Philippino couple. Every time I came here the lady will greet me with a smile and said I reminded her of her sister that passed away. I miss this place so much when I’m in my home town I definitely come here.“

“Tasty Goody in Norwalk is hands down the best Chinese food place this side of the Mississippi. I go there whenever I want some ? orange chicken, and it never disappoints. The portions are huge, and the prices are great for how much food you get. The orange chicken has the perfect amount of crunch and sauce, and the noodles are always fresh. I’ve tried a lot of places, but nothing really compares to Tasty Goody. Plus, the people there are super nice and quick with your order. Definitely my go-to spot for Chinese food.“

Mains: Cashew Chicken and Broccoli Beef (honestly I told my husband that the Broccoli beef could be swapped for whatever he wants because he likes fried food so this will be swapped from time to time)
Side: Garlic Green Beans (these are the absolute most DELICIOUS green beans I have ever eaten)

The lady was SOOOO nice and helpful over the phone. With that said, the food here is top notch! When I need comfort food, I get the egg flower soup and dumplings. “Ok so we used to lived down the street from here. Approximately 2014 to 2015. One of those places that I get this nostalgia feeling...before we had our kids and before we have what we have now. The days of struggle. We used to get their deal buy 3 get 1 and we would eat it for a week. We just moved to California. We opened our clothing store and everything was tight budget. But this place in more ways saved us. They have the best bbq chicken in town and their portions is massive still...12 years later. “I love this place! One of the servers is great, she always fills my plate. However, today at about 12:30pm I went to pick up lunch and the server, short lady, not the one who is normally there. Was literally talking on the phone the whole time I’m ordering my food. What bothered me is that I asked for sauce on the side but being she’s on the phone she apparently didn’t hear me and poured the sauce on the food. I lacked to check and once I get back to my destination my sweet and sour chicken is all soggy. Get off your phone be professional so you can pay attention to what is being asked from the customer.“

Most of the Chinese food in Long Beach is actually pretty disgusting to be honest. It’s just quick grabbing go places. This restaurant, Dan, Dan, modern and a couple near Bixby Knowles are pretty decent, but Long Beach is not known for their Chinese food if you want Cambodian or you want Vietnamese there’s tons of options and great Thai, but definitely not Chinese

This is actually a great spot but the one issue I have is customer service. It just seems like everyone’s kind of bummed or not really excited to be there except for the manager. I was impressed one time. She actually brought my food out to the Alley because there’s no parking.
