“Not sure how I haven’t left a review here yet—this is my go-to sushi spot in the area. I always start off with the spicy garlic edamame and calamari, both great appetizers. Depending on the day, if you order a beer you sometimes get a free fried corn poppers appetizer, which is actually surprisingly good.

My usual go-to rolls are the Hungry Roll and Samurai Roll, but honestly everything I’ve tried here has been solid. Service is always good as well.“

“Been going here for years the orange chicken is best along with the ramen. Good size serving as well. The ramen is always hot and has never disappointed. There is a worker that speaks spanish really good so for our Spanish speakers. Cant wait to go again“

“This is my first time here recommended by a friend it's only to go orders they have no seating on the inside but the restaurant in front they say hold some menu items from there and you can sit down and eat and use their restrooms. For California roll and calamari roll it took only about 30 minutes. They were extremely busy customer service was good. FYI, don't forget to mention if you enjoy chopsticks because you'll be disappointed that all they supply is forks in the closed bag they give you. Will come back if in the area again.“

“I’ve ordered here 3 times and food here has been consistently fresh. This place is near where I live. I was surprised to find out it was just a take out establishment during my first visit. But services have been quick and they have gotten the orders right so far. They often send out discount codes which are very helpful in this economy. Prices are fairly reasonable. “K Sushi is a hidden gem. Our server Luke, was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the Special Roll Tray and the Tempura Ice Cream.

The Special Roll Tray was flavorful and a great portion size for 4 people with moderate appetites. The Tempura Ice Cream was amazing. I loved the contrast between the crispy crunchy exterior and the cold ice cream inside. The pricing was fair and standard. They have korean fushion rolls on the menu. I will be coming back to try those!

The restaurant is small family business tucked in a small plaza. The place was clean and comfortable. It wasn’t too busy during dinner time on a Thursday. The bathrooms were clean which is always appreciated.“

“Went in for a quick bite mid-afternoon and ended up staying for an early dinner. Sat at the sushi bar, ordered nigiri; yellowtail, kurodai, tuna and salmon, mixed tempura, and green teas that were better than expected. The iced was this cloudy matcha situation in case you like that type of iced tea.

Excited to see kurodai on the menu. There were a few specials but we stuck to the basics for this round.

Everything came out beautifully presented and the fish was genuinely fresh across the board. The crispy rice is the move. Caramelized, warm, light spicy tuna on top. Comes heavy on the sauce so just know that going in. We will ask for a lighter touch next time but it was still delicious.

“Tried Trave Sushi and everything was so fresh and delicious. We ordered rolls and they were honestly really good. great quality and flavor. We came about an hour before closing and they still sat us right away with no attitude which I really appreciated.

Customer service was great too we spoke with Frank, super friendly and made the experience even better. The spot is very takeout friendly but still comfortable if you dine in.

I also loved that they have options for people who don’t like fish, like veggie rolls and beef rolls. We got the King Kong roll and it was huge and sooo good.

Only small downside is they don’t have fountain drinks, but honestly the food and service made up for it. Everything we tried was delicious and we’ll definitely be back!“

“I came all the way from Highland Park (near Dodger Stadium) to check it out. I’m glad I did! They have limited yet free parking (plaza parking). The food is delicious and affordable. Their portions are nice too. The staff are friendly and the environment is authentic yet modern. The music is great and not too loud.“

If not they typically sit you down right away. The servers are friendly. The food here is great. You must take advantage of the lunch combos they offer. Combo B is the way to go. Soup, salad, your choice of any roll plus 2 hand rolls. It's a lot of food and you get your money's worth. They have alcohol on the menu as well. There is kids seating available. Would definitely recommend. It's not the best sushi in the world but it's a place to take care of the sushi craving. The staff is welcoming and just a nice place to have lunch or dinner.“

They made up for the wait with excellent food & service once they got caught up & the owner even brought a round of complementary sake because of the long wait which was a very nice gesture.
