Not that I've eaten at a ton of high-end omakase sushi restaurants, but Sushi Sonagi is one of the best omakase restaurants I've had in the world.
Chef Son seems to do a seasonal menu, but sources and prepares fish uniquely that not only tastes absolutely amazing, but also in a way that I didn't taste at several other, Michelin-starred omakase sushi restaurants. Absolutely exceptional dining experience. Some of the best food I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this place to everyone!
This is our favorite restaurant and has been from first visit. Just finished dining a 4th time now. Only a couple of restaurants stand up to the test of time like this. Chef also provides a relaxed yet personable approach that meets you where you are. Truly an experience to savor both in food and company.
