“Every single bite was delicious. Great service with well thought sequences of dishes. Interior was clean and woody. Reminds me of traditional sushi restaurant in Japan. Dishes and glassware were cute and were hand picked by chef's wife. Must try!”
“Parking is really easy even on weekends. The restaurant is spacious and the staff is friendly. The menu has lots of different food options. This place is great to hang out with friends and family to catch up or meet up. Our party had a baby, they have high chairs and staff were very accommodating, we did not feel like a nuisance while dining here. When the baby was rowdy and there was a lobby area just a short walk away to calm the baby down with various Japanese decor.”
“Been to many locations for their infamous ramen? including the 'Shin Zen Gumi to go' d just down the street from this location.Me, the wifey, & daughter came here because we usually like to go to the 'Jedaya' Japanese restaurant which is in the same plaza. There was a 45 minute wait on a Sunday evening and we didn't want to wait.Since Shin Zen Gumi was just a short walk away, we decided to come here.We didn't realize that it was based on Yakitori grilled styled Japanese and therefore I wasn't gonna be able to get any tempura like I normally would, however a change in pace would be just as fine.We studied the menu for a few minutes and were easily enticed to order some yakitori meats ? which was surprisingly delicious with a garlic dipping sauce, couple bowls of Shio ramen which was delicious for that style of ramen they didn't have tonkatsu style available , some grilled gyoza ? for our daughter, karaage which also was delicious and fried to perfection , and finally I ordered a plate of their garlic shrimp ? fries?.Now I normally do not ever get fries at a Japanese restaurant however I randomly chose this item and didn't regret it one bit. The shrimp were tantalizingly grilled to perfection with its own unique flavor accompanied with their own amazing sauce They drizzled the fries which were straw style and just perfect with the way they served them up.Last but not least a large Sprite, Kirin Ichiban Bottled Beer, and some water to wash it down. The place was crazy busy, however the staff made you feel at home with the way they shout their welcoming and departing greetings. The restaurant was clean, organized, and outstanding service which made our first time experience an awesome one. I give it a 5 star rating for their excellent dining experience ?We'll definitely come back here for more of their Yakitori style cuisine!Awesome job Shin-Zen-Gumi ?Parking: There is a huge parking lot that is free, however spaces may vary during dinner and peak hours.”
“Galbi, Corn Cheese, and Soju just make the perfect night out ! Kko Kko Yang is literally the hidden gem for amazing Korean BBQ in Gardena! I can't believe I only found out about this place recently and I've lived in Southbay LA all my life! We got their brisket and galbi which was so tender and delicious. They have so many good sides such as their steamed egg, soybean soup, kimchi pancake, and banchan, and we even ordered some refreshing cold noodles on the side. My favorite part was pouring the corn cheese in the galbi and letting it sizzle on the grill! This place is known for their gopchang, aka intestines, but they have so many unique cuts of meat here to grill! We tried their gopchang, daechang, abomasum and beef heart as well, and the staff really knows how to cook these cuts! Nothing was overly chewy and it's hard to find places that can do this right. Definitely recommend checking them out the next time you want a delicious and different KBBQ experience!”
“Ázuma Japanese restaurant .The service is as charming as it gets – picture a smiling waiter always ready to top up your rice or soup, making you feel pampered and cared for. Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the grilled fish. It's not just right; it's a symphony of flavors that transport you to Japan with each bite. The authenticity here is unbeatable, making every dish a delightful adventure for your taste buds. But what truly steals the show is the cozy atmosphere that turns every meal into a cherished family moment. This place isn't just about food; it's about creating memories over delicious dishes and heartfelt conversations. In a nutshell, this Japanese restaurant isn't just a dining spot; it's a delicious journey into tradition and hospitality. You'll leave with a full belly, a happy heart, and a craving to come back for more.”

“One thing about Uber Eats is you get to discover great places to eat. This restaurant was local and had very good food. I love Calamari and there are a lot of ways to prepare it. Fried is my favorite and this spot didn't disappoint ? here the calamari is mixed with big pieces of shrimp and tomato pasta sauce. I will return to try more on the menu, the smell when you walk in boi!!”

“You will not find better service than when you enter Borjstar. Honestly, they treat you like a star. They are attentive and incredibly kind, friendly, and accommodating. The food is just as great. Very flavorful and leaves you wanting more! They also have a yogurt/ice cream dispenser so you can treat yourself before/after your meal. Put Borjstar on your list of restaurants to visit in the Gardena/South Bay area. You won't regret it!”
“Every single bite was delicious. Great service with well thought sequences of dishes. Interior was clean and woody. Reminds me of traditional sushi restaurant in Japan. Dishes and glassware were cute and were hand picked by chef's wife. Must try!”
“Angela is an amazing host. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. The place is warm and full of life and the food is amazing. Probably the best Thai you can find anywhere within 50 miles! The homemade cilantro hot sauce should be bottled and sold. I would drink that by itself.Parking: Big lot nearby.”
“Some quality ice cream! Had the mr universal which was caramel & cookies flavor and it was ??. My friends hojicha one was delicious too packed with actual tea flavor. Def will be back.”
“First time coming to this place and let me tell you it’s amazing the food the vibe and the people that assist you are very friendly n make you feel welcome ? give it a 5”
“As a devoted food lover, Dirt Dog- Gardena, is a Southern California experience worth savoring. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a striking large wall mural of the Legends of West Coast Hip Hop, adding to the laid-back vibe that California is known for.The menu boasts a tantalizing array of options, from bacon wrapped hot dogs to birria tacos to fried Oreos! But when in doubt, you simply can't go wrong with a classic dirty dog and a side of filthy fries. Each bite is a flavor explosion that leaves you craving more.Refreshing beer on tap perfectly complements the bold flavors of the food and adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience.Overall, Dirt Dog in Gardena is a must-visit destination for any food lover in Los Angeles. With its inviting atmosphere, delicious food, and refreshing drinks, it's the perfect spot to indulge in a taste of the West Coast.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND”

“One of the easiest 5 stars ever. Food is amazing, prices are very fair, atmosphere is perfect. There’s seating outside, subs already made next to where you order them, and plenty of wine, meats, and cheeses. This place is soooo great.”
“I luv it here. The sandwhiches are so good. All fresh ingredients. The employees are nice . The place is clean. The portion sizes are huge . U will not be disaapointed .”
“I ordered Aguachiles, and they were delicious. Had more shrimp than other restaurants at a much better price. The staff was friendly and attentive. Will be coming back!!”
“This is an old Japanese soba restaurant. I had a good time visiting. Both for entertaining and personally. The staff at the store are Japanese, but of course their English is no problem. I used it yesterday for the first time in a while, and 80% of the customers were non-Japanese. Soba is becoming more and more recognized. I love the soba noodles, but I also love the ginger-yaki set meal. I love the spaghetti salad that comes with it. It's not on the menu, but it comes out when you order.”
“Arrived less than an hour before closing but they weren’t busy so they invited our party of 5 inside after seeing our hesitancy outside the front door. I wish I got their names but they were incredibly hospitable, helping us figure out how to best enjoy the dishes we ordered (we’re still learning about Korean cuisine) and were really accommodating. And everything was amazing!! We got the ox bone soup with beef brisket, mul naeng-myon (cold noodles with beef and pickled radish), haemul nok-du jeon (korean pancake with squid and shrimp and clam), and the spicy galbi-jjim (braised beef short ribs) which was our favorite.Highly highly recommend, can’t wait to go back!”
“TMJ Café - A Haven for Donut Lovers If there's one thing you must try at TMJ Café, it's their Maple Bacon Donut. This delightful treat is nothing short of phenomenal. The donut itself is pillow-soft, providing the perfect canvas for the rich, sweet and savory toppings. The maple glaze is expertly balanced - not too sweet, just perfectly syrupy, complementing the crispy, savory bacon on top. Each bite is a harmonious blend of flavors and textures that leaves you craving more. The ambiance of TMJ Café adds to the experience, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It's clear that they put a lot of love and care into their baked goods. And if the Maple Bacon Donut is anything to go by, the rest of their menu promises to be just as delightful. In summary, TMJ Café is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. Their Maple Bacon Donut is a standout, and I am eagerly looking forward to indulging in the rest of their delicious offerings. Oh goodness gracious, this is a donut lover's dream come true!”

“The cleanest broth I had ever tasted in my life. Typical Korean restaurant that serves different kinds of soups. Great service, food was out quickly and the staff was attentive. Everything was delicious.Parking: Lots of parking in non peak hours.”
“Although I didn't directly purchase cakes from the bakery, my friend brought some slices over to a party, and I FELL IN LOVE.Dude, that chestnut cake is out of this world...seriously. it's the perfect amount of sweetness, nuttiness, and balance of soft and bouncy texture. I also had a taro slice which was also just so yummy. The cream that they use is light and not greasy tasting at all. I can't wait to go back so I can purchase an entire cake for my asian parents who would totally love this cake.”
“First visit. Really good beer, nice staff, and parking wasn't bad (around 3:30 on a Friday - maybe different on weekends) looking forward to going back again”

“Fresh, simple and delicious is the best way to describe the Nigiri. It just melted in your mouth. Have to try this small little place in a crowded little shopping center off of Western.”
“Freshly prepared doing lunch might have a slight wait but worth it. The ? area for 1 or 4 friends that want to eat inside. Parking is free plus you can call in your order or take out. ”
“This is my early young childhood and adulthood! I love the people here and have been a long time customer for them forever!A bit late for the review but would definitely say that the wait is worth it! Love my chicken katsu plate I get from them <3”
“I stopped by this evening with my sister in law after a Dr. Appt down the street when putting gas I could smell the cooking. I ordered 3 tacos and champurado basic of asada my sister n law ordered 2 de tripas and 1 lengua and a large jaimica. Wow the food was really really delicious like it was made from your home kitchen very tasteful. The service was very fast and they were polite and helpful. I am definitely coming back even though I'm about 30 min away it's worth it. They are located on Redondo and Vermount Gardena.”
“The Portuguese sausage fried rice is fabulous!! So fresh and very simple, delicious ingredients!! I also love their spam Musubi, as does my 3 year old. I'm looking forward to trying any and all of the chicken. So good!! Support local”
“This place used to be called Bonellos, and it was great! Now it's different. The smell is different and the taste is different. For a while it was the same as Bonellos, eventually it was gonna change. Now it's no better than a pizza chain. I won't be going back, so disappointed. Not recommended.”
“Excellent dining experience. We went to Lunch to take advantage of the outstanding view of the Driving experience course. server, was attentive without being intrusive. We started our meal sharing fresh oysters and Scallops which were incredibly fresh, briny and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the salad and pork dishes on the menu, which accommodated my gluten allergy. We had a salad with a delicious dressing and it was beautiful, fresh and appetizing. Such a nice weekend lunch with friend in a lovely spot.”
“Came today Feb 20th around12:30. The lady that takes your order, is very pleasant and patient. She also explains the menu. I had to tip her. I love good service with a smile. NOW TO THE FOOD. THE REGULAR SHRIMP AND PARMESAN FRIES ARE BOMB. I DON'T EVEN EAT FRENCH FRIES ? LIKE THAT ANYMORE BUT THEY'RE SO DELICIOUS, I ATE ALMOST ALL OF THEM. I ALSO ORDERED THE FLAMANGO HABANERO WINGS. HAVEN'T TRIED THOSE YET. BLACK OWNED BUSINESS, I ❤️❤️ IT. I'M GOING TO BRING SOME FRIENDS NEXT TIME. BEST OF LUCK WITH UR BUSINESS. KEEP UP THE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THANKS FOR A GREAT LUNCH”

“Orange chicken tasted different from what I expected but the chowmein and rice were ??? the atmosphere is nice not dirty with the plants next to the window seats their service was good ?”
“Absolutely love this place. I think we've been eating here about once every 2 weeks for the last year or so now and it is consistenly great every time. We like the half crispy and half sweet spicy wings the most. I love that they make it fresh on order - so you're always getting hot crispy wings every time. Definitely give this a place a try if you're looking for good korean style wings!”
“Totally love Three Spice! I had my usual Drunken Noodle (mild) with chicken. It was fresh and delicious. My friend ordered the yellow curry with chicken, served with steamed rice. We both enjoyed our food so much, that we didn't take pics. When the thought hit me I was rubbing my belly. If you haven't tried Three Spice, please do!”
“I recommend the golden prime beef noodle soup (金汤肥牛面) with flat noodles (noodles and broth were my favourite part of the dish). We also had the lamb skewers - the quality of meat was good, but it had a bit too much spice on them.Lastly, the service was great!”
“Went there today just before closing. Purchased oxtails with candied yams & rice and gravy. Excellent tasting, the gravy was delicious oxtails were falling off the bones and the candied yams were very good also. Did not really like the corn bread dressing. The hostess, Star was very friendly and welcoming. I'm from the Chi and recommend it highly. Price was right also.Looking for good food check Matthews at 2222 W. Rosecran out. They also have delivery. Thanks Star, MickeyParking: Many”
“Food was the best I've had in a long time. Service was very good staff was attentive. Place was nice and clean. Music was I little loud for me. I would recommend the fry chicken. With beans and rice and the cabbage salad.”
“Very reasonable pricing on all the dishes. This is Japanese Izakaya or tappas restaurant. Plenty of parking spaces right next to the restaurant and the hotel.Kanpai!”
“I absolutely love their chicken, it's my favorite dish to order here. Rosa is so nice and gives excellent customer service. She checks on us and brings whatever we need with a smile. My Dad said his Camarones a lá Diablá was delicious but my roasted chicken was super delicious. Their homemade tortillas are fantastic. The salsa & sauces are the best homemade salsas I've had at a restaurant. I feel like I'm at my Abuela's house for dinner. I am a very picky Mexican eater and drive from the Marina to come here. The dining room has very comfortable booths and they are always clean when we come. Will be back very soon.”
“Best to go there after fasting for several days...........even better deal for those on Medicare!! Recommend going with the Tonkotsu bone broth and pork belly/shoulder slices plus an ice cold mega mug of Sapporo........always outstanding service by Riley, Kenda and Cody.”
“Wow. I stop here we need Korean BBQ That’s why. We hereKorean BBQ. It good restaurant.Food is very good I love Korean BBQI go everywhere. Here is top 5 for me”
“I drive by this place all the time as I only live a few blocks away. I was craving Indian food so I decided to give this spot a try and the fact that they sell pizza drove my curiosity even further. I ordered a Chicken Tikka masala pizza which was absolutely amazing, highly recommend that! I also ordered butter chicken, chicken Tikka masala, garlic naan, rice, and samosas for me and my family to share. The butter chicken was my 2nd favorite item I ordered. So delicious and they give you a good portion of chicken in it. I even put some of the sauce on my pizza to make it taste even better. The chicken Tikka masala that I ordered in the side tasted really good too but it was light on the chicken which was disappointing. Everything was pretty good, except the samosas. They weren't bad I just felt they were a bit on the bland side, the sauce they gave me on the side helped it out. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves Indian food!”
“I have been very disappointed with food and service since covid.A friend mentioned a place down the streetFrom work.Gave it a try. Wow ! FantasticI never thought food could taste so good!”
“I went in for breakfast and got a breakfast burrito that had Polish sausage and surprisingly it was a lot better than a place called Astro burger, and the service was really good. But the atmosphere. Seems a little outdated, but this is an industrial area. So it's to be expected not to invest that much. Money back into a place that's not doing as good as it should”

“Not bad! A little rough around the edges but for the most part never had any issues and get hot food. Only issue is their soda machine isn’t a real freestyle soda. It’s never any real options and I wish we could figure out what drinks they actually have ”
“I went through the drive thru earlier today and the young worker named Juan is very nice and has great manners, such a great example. Overall, very well managed!”
“Well Jack and the crack is always a good place to stop the people of very nice at this location. I enjoy the food but it's not for me all the time. But it's great for every once in a while especially backpose items. Sorry, no ”
“Good stuff and the price is just right. One of the last (if not THE last) fast food place that still knows its place in the food chain and acts accordingly. Doesn't charge an outrageous price, doesn't make you use an app or kiosk, and gets the food right every time. Please keep it up!”

“I randomly stopped in here to grab some take out. They were only going to be open for another 20 mins. They greeted me with smiles even though they were about to close. While waiting for my take out I noticed just how vibrant the environment was. And it all centered on the two main chefs at the front that night they were very energetic and full of laughs and smiles with the other customers. I will definitely try to come here more if my work schedule lets me.”
“My wife and I came in on a Sunday afternoon, at first we were going to have something else originally but my wife and I decided let's get some KBBQ. We googled and we wanted to try some place new. Yellow Cow was the place and we are sure glad we found this place. It wasn't crowded which my wife and I prefer and were seated immediately. We were greeted with such amazing genuine hospitality and service, that we knew we were in the right place. The gentlemen who first took our order was so kind and a absolute delight, I wish I had gotten his name. My wife and I ordered the prime brisket for our 2 options and the quality of the brisket was phenomenal, it also comes with fresh salad & complementary sides. The gentlemen who took our order were also kind enough to lay our meat down on the grill before we started to cook, which I thought was a nice touch of service. The ladies were so sweet and full of love that it was radiating off of them and made us feel so welcomed. When they would come around to our table they made sure we were ok and comfortable and asked how everything was. One of the ladies even gave us some recommendations on how we could incorporate the side dishes with the BBQ which we thought was very thoughtful and pleasant. All in all we are giving the Yellow Cow a 5-star due to everyone's effort, genuineness, service, ambiance & food. I highly recommend if you're looking for all the above. We will be coming back for sure. ?”
“I have dined in and also taken out. Amazing service every time. I love their Brussels, salmon salad, and shrimp tacos. Only complaint I have is they changed the menu over the years and took off some of my favorite items.”
Takeout Restaurants
“The cleanest broth I had ever tasted in my life. Typical Korean restaurant that serves different kinds of soups. Great service, food was out quickly and the staff was attentive. Everything was delicious.Parking: Lots of parking in non peak hours.”
“The woman who attended me was amazing!! I really loved the strawberry milk and the pork belly was very delicious. I was just a little disappointed in the egg since it was warm on the outside but really cold in the inside which made me lose my appetite. The noodles also tasted too much like eggs in which I don’t really enjoy. The soup was really good though and again the pork belly tastes amazing!!”
“A good place for a Ramen Date, the food is usually spot on and the atmosphere is great. This place is great for small groups of four. Wait time is thirty minutes tops.”
“this is an absolutely fantastic ramen restaurant! it gets a wholehearted recommendation from me, the food is delicious and the service was fast and excellent! probably the best ramen I've had in southern California!”
“Best place for traditional mochi and wagashi. Everything is handmade and so beautiful! I especially like the sakura mochi they make. I think the rice they use is top quality.”
“I love the food here. It is delicious. Everything from the breakfast items (served all day), especially the Portuguese Sausage (which is their own recipe and it's a patty type sausage not like a hot dog) and eggs and the Hawaiian Royale (a rice dish with eggs, portugese sausage, char siu, sauce, kind of like a fried rice but not). The Japanese food is delicious, they do a great tempura. Or if you just want a burger and fries you can't go wrong either. So all the things needed to be a great little diner.”
“Finally tried this spot out a few months back and it's now a 3-4 visits/month kinda place for us. Food is fresh, hot, not greasy, and not over salted. Love their fresh corn tortillas, portions are solid, salsas are on point, and service is friendly and efficient!”
“The dining experience at this restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I stepped in, the welcoming atmosphere set the stage for a delightful evening. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavors that left me craving more. Additionally, the service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring that every need was met promptly. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for exceptional food and service.”

Don't miss out on trying the Gan Jja Jang--it's a rare find with its smoky wok flavor, generous portions of diced onions and squash, and a less oily consistency compared to traditional Jja Jang Myeon. Highly recommended!”
“This is a G-town OG. Been coming here since small kid days. My sister and I would fight over the tamago. I hope this stays open forever. Note, it's cash only and I love that.”
“I visited this place for the first time. Wow, they really know coffee. I had a chai latte, it was prepared perfectly and served at the right temperature. My sister had a flaky custard pastry that was buttery, flaky, with a glazed sugar coating. It was delicious.Parking: Located in shopping mall”
“Podong offers unique Korean drinks from injeolmi to Korean pear! I was immediately drawn to their retro interior and free Photo Booth inside. The decor is extremely well thought out and fits their concept perfectly. You can order on the tablet or with the cashier. Even though they have 4 tables with chairs, it feels more like a grab and go place. Large parking lot outside. As for the drinks: - soul Thai milk tea 5/5 - strawberry yakult 4/5 - - Korean pear 3/5 Note: the boba is on the sweeter side I'm really sad they discontinued their sweet rice drink! I hope they bring it back. It was my favorite!!”
“The staff is so nice, welcoming you and talking about how much love they put into preparing their food. We had the bento box which was tasty but the chili was the real prize winner here. Definitely coming back for more!”
“Truly excellent yakiniku in the heart of Gardena. Legit A5 wagyu, American wagyu, dinner sets they even have oxtail soup, egg soup, great service, perfect seasoning. It costs a grip but it really is worth it. Authentic Japanese Yakiniku. You need to come here.”
“Nice little neighborhood brewery with a mini parking lot and plenty of street parking. The beertender was a nice guy and gave my husband a couple of splashes to help him decide which beer to choose. Looks like they are set up for some game playing a small stage for live music. Kind of quiet when we went on a Saturday afternoon. Seems like a great place for guys to get together.”

“It's been a while since I last used it. The taste is still very delicious! The staff at the restaurant are also friendly, which adds to the deliciousness. There are many types of yakitori. There are also courses of 7 and 10 courses. If you don't like the yakitori, just let us know when ordering and we'll change it for you.The chef (chef) is quiet and professional as he grills the chicken. Actually, this store also has a store in Shinbashi, Japan.”

“A delicious selection of everything you’ve come to love from Shin-Sen-Gumi, starting with amazing ramen with limitless option’s and toppings, they also have delicious curry with great croquet options and also Yakitori options, the sets are amazing and very affordable. Make sure to try the spicy ramen or adding the spice bomb to your ramen.”
“Most days in n out is a 5 overall. Not today. Service was quick but my order was wrong. I asked for fries with no salt and salt was on it. I asked for 2 different burgers and that order was wrong as well. I don't know what was going on with the staff. They were not vibing together nor working together. It was a very sad experience for me.”
“Awesome service food is awesome need I say more while I can but you have to go try it for yourself to enjoy what my wife and I have be blessed whoever reads this message enjoy the food the service and the people there are very ”
“This isbone of the very few LJS in so-cal, the food is always fresh because it's made to order. This restaurant was recently renovated and I have to say, it's is world's better now.”
“I've been coming here for years, and it hasn't changed one bit. The food is always on point, especially the chilly cheese fries!! The best coffee as well..”
“Hadn't been to this location in a while the young man that served me was nice and pleasant my Fire Island chicken wasn't as hot as it used to be wasn't as tender but I would go back”
“If you like popusas or tacos dorarados, then this is the place the taco dorados is my favorite dish and popusas mixtas. I've being to other places for tacos dorados, and they are not as good as here really and for the popusas as well they have excellent popusas better flavor then other Salvador restaurants the place looks a bit run down, but the food is excellent, do not judge a place by the look, you are going to love the food here really.”
“Ambiance: Typical restaurant vibes, I usually opt for the drive thru, but the inside does have a lot of seating both inside and out.Service: Though I'm usually in the drive thru, there is always a wait. I've never been able to get in and out like most places. But the food is always hot.Food: I first tried chilaquiles here, and I've been in love with them ever since. The red sauce is my favorite. The plate is always heavy, and I'm always full after I've had them. It's not spicy but rich with flavor. I always ask for just one egg since I'm not a big fan, but they almost never listen.”
“I eat here at least once a week and have done that for going on seven years. People say the line is slow but how impatient can you get when its a freshly made meal to order? Might as well make your own lunch or go to the mcdonalds across the street if you cant wait 5 minutes for a meal ??♀️”
“I have had multiple breakfast burritos from multiple locations but they don't compare to Rick's. The flavor, ingredients, the blend of all the components. This will be my breakfast burrito spot from now on. I will bring my future wife here and let my friends know.”
“Its good and fresh. Those fries are A1. Crispy and fresh. I wanted to go back and thank the fry man. " Like bro how you know? Just how I like my seasoned fries!!!"”
“Yorgo’s is a staple of South Gardena. No nonsense diner menu, thick fries and expansive menu. It’s a good place to get a cheap burger, chili fries, breakfast, or even some pastrami or gyro. The aesthetic is older, but I appreciate all the pictures of picturesque Greece on the walls.Great that they also have drive thru and a $5.99 combo special! Easy and quick.”
“My go to breakfast spot near home.Vegetarian options: Salads and potatoes ??♂️Parking: Easily available.Kid-friendliness: I take my grandkids to sit down for breakfast.Wheelchair accessibility: Available.”
“In the morning its quiet no crazy people make sure you get strawberry jelly with your hashbrown. order a senior coffee if youre over 55 its cheaper. No you dont need a senior with you in your car.”
“A small family run izakaya tucked into the far end corner of a strip of restaurants. Easy to overlook if one drives by too quickly. Run by an older couple, it has a very cosy atmosphere with authentic izakaya style tapas. The seabream and kohada was very fresh the day we went, the tuna was prepped well. The sashimi was properly cut and everything was exquisitely prepared by the owner chef.”

“Squid and wasabi spaghetti has been my favorite for over a decade. However, it was fresh wasabi root with very pleasant aroma. Now it's a pickled wasabi and something g has been missing for me. Maybe I am just picky. But the 1 dollar salad and the refillable sweet tea is always must-have! Bread is always fresh and soft inside. I will still go back every time I am nearby...”
“Was in the area so wanted to try Pitburger since its been a Gardena staple for so long. Cash and take out only, ordered a single Teri Burger and waited for a bit. Wasnt dissapointed when i opened it up. The meat wasnt grissled, perfect ratio to meat and bun. Ample napkins since its a bit messy with the Teriyaki sauce and mayo melded together. Apart from the non emotional cashier and standing around outside on the street, id go again if in the area??Parking: Ample parking in back of restaurant”
“Just ordered lunch, fresh, great portions! Ordered a shrimp burrito ? 1 grilled fish taco, 1 fried fish taco and tacos dorado's. Everything was really great but there was a little too much of the mayo type sauce on the dorados I'll order separately next time. Loved the spicy green salsa.”
“I had Basil Thai, and the shrimp were fresh and the vegetables were fresh, but the taste was a little lacking somewhere. However, given the lunch discount, the food is good value for money.”
“Food was DELICIOUS!!! I ordered the steak and eggs. The steak didn't need any steak sauce. The over easy eggs were on point. Their potatoes are thinly sliced with some really good seasoning! You will most likely have to wait for a little bit, but definitely worth the wait! I will be ordering their specialty pancakes next time. They smelled so good!”
“They have really good food and compared to other places the prices were not that bad honesty I will come back for more.Parking: Well, there are a lot of free parking spots on the street, so you have nothing to be worried.”
“Really nice waiter attended us. We came here because loaded cafe had nobody attending guests. It was a cute little typical hispanic place. Restroom is through the kitchen which is pretty unhygienic but whatever. Fresh ingredients and food was flavorful except for the eggs but overall solid. Pupusas were huge but I didn't try them.”
“Very delicious. I ordered the Chile Relleno, and it was very good. The sauce was hearty, and homestyle. Very nice quaint place to have a pleasant memory if you're not on the run. I took it to go on my lunch hour. The staff is very friendly, and helpful. Very polite. great service, and great food. Look forward to trying more dishes! Highly recommended. Muy buena cocina, y muy amable el personal. Gracias por el buen servicio! Delicioso el chile relleno.”
“If you have good taste in katsu then this is the place for you. If you don't then byeeeee. I love this place because it reminds me of this famous spot in Tokyo, called Butagumi. Both of them share this premium flaky crispy batter on the outside which I love. I know most katsu uses a thicker more dense batter but I prefer this. I will DEFINITELY be returning. If I had to describe how the batter is, it almost looks like bonito flakes were fried on it, but that's a good thing with the flakiness. The katsu does take a little bit of time to make as I'm under the impression it's fresh but in my opinion worth the wait. You can always go shopping in Tokyo Central for a little or order a snack at one of the other food places. This location is inside the Tokyo Central and to the right of the entrance. Parking: free lotSeating: indoor table cafeteria styleWifi: noPayment: card or tapVibe: food court diningDress code: casual. But be warned your clothes will smell like fried food after you leave.”
“It was the first time I came in but I really liked the place, the food was good and they were very friendly and it is very quietParking: Well, it is a square with many food businesses and there are always many people, especially after 6:00 p.m. the parking lot and the street begin to fill up as well.Kid-friendliness: YeahWheelchair accessibility: Yeah”
“It's hard to find sweet potato cake. Had to order 2-3 days in advance. Real sweet potatoes used and not super sweet. Highly recommend. The almond cookies and viral potato bread are also good.”
“This is a very generic (but good) boba place with that new style vibe and atmosphere. The selection of teas is limited, however I really liked what I ordered and I feel the price was worth it.”
“These are the best takoyaki in the LA! As fresh as they come with a healthy chunk of octopus in each ball. Crispy and pillowy soft at the same time. It’s also very satisfying to watch them being made right in front of your eyes. I wish they had a location closer to me, I would eat there regularly. Nom nom nom!”
“Absolutely delicious! I and my husband randomly found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. We were welcomed by a gentleman and instantly made us feel like home. The soup was soooo good and we kept telling ourselves to come back to try other items here while eating.”
“Tried out the pork buns at their food stand during the 626 Night Market at OC Fairgrounds and fell in love!THE FOOD ELABORATION. - Pork Bao | Fluffy, slightly sweet, steamed bun with flavorful shredded pork and shiitake mushrooms inside. Recommend trying this out. - Melty Bao with Pork | Steamed bun with shredded pork and shiitake mushroom inside. It's then cut in half with cheese slapped on each open side and melted on the grill. Absolutely, mind blowing delicious. All steamed buns should be made like this. Highly recommend... and buy one for me. Please and thank you. THE VIBE EVOCATION. Fair vibes. They have a bright red sign you can't miss. There's a grill next to their stand so you can watch as they melt cheese onto the steamed bun. The staff were friendly and helpful as they navigated me through the menu. THE PARKING AFFAIR.As I mentioned, we tried Nikuman-Ya at the 626 Night Market on the OC Fairgrounds, so parking pertains to that location. Arrive early to get a spot close to the entrance. How early is early? About 15-20 min before the 4PM opening. Parking is $12. THE RETURN QUANDARY. Yes. It's worth the drive, the wait, and the money.”

“Old school Japanese breakfast of broiled fish and tofu. Very tasty saba (mackerel) and impeccable service. Chef even greets customers. One local told him the steak reminded her of her grandmother’s. Dogs welcome in patio.”
“I went there for the first time last Saturday and it was really delicious. I ordered half seasoning and half soy sauce, and sweet potato pizza, and it was very delicious. The cabbage salad is also very delicious. I don't like chicken that much, but the crispiness, proportion, taste, and seasoning of the chicken were all perfect. I've been to restaurants on both sides before, but I didn't try this one because I didn't like the exterior design. But this restaurant is the best. If you are wondering whether to try it or not, give it a try. I don't regret it. And very friendly.”
“I lived in S Korea for two years and lived for my next meal in that beautiful country. Eating at Hwang's was like being back in Korea. if you have never had Korean food, this is the place for you to start. If you love Korean food this is one of your best choices.”

“Everyone that attended our table was amazing. We ordered 7-8 different items to feed 5 people and the food came out super fast. We were celebrating a birthday and they let us bring a cake in and helped cut it. They played a lot of popular music and even sang a happy birthday. Such a good vibe! I’d love to come again.Kid-friendliness: They have kid high chairs too.”
“Very reasonable pricing on all the dishes. This is Japanese Izakaya or tappas restaurant. Plenty of parking spaces right next to the restaurant and the hotel.Kanpai!”
“The omakase menu at night is also rich in content. All of the toppings are soft and flavorful. Plenty of odorless sea urchin. The tuna seems to have matured. The red vinegar and rice are just right, not too big.The chawanmushi is served piping hot with ginkgo nuts. The miso soup was delicious, with a good dashi coming out from the shrimp heads.I'm very satisfied with this price.”
“Best to go there after fasting for several days...........even better deal for those on Medicare!! Recommend going with the Tonkotsu bone broth and pork belly/shoulder slices plus an ice cold mega mug of Sapporo........always outstanding service by Riley, Kenda and Cody.”
“We were invited to spend an evening with friends at this spot in Gardena. We were pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to find parking either on the street or in the additional lot in the back. There's a patio area out front with plenty of seating and even a few party games ( Cornhole, Connect Four, etc) our party was seated near the door, and one of the several space heaters, which we appreciated more and more as the night went on It was Tuesday, and we took advantage of the Taco Tuesday special and there's also a deal for half/off Margaritas deal. Every one in our group tried a different drink, we were all pleasantly surprised. Being a cider house, that's what the hubby and I ordered. I had the 'Mexican Lollipop' a watermelon habanero cider which was the perfect amount of spice for me. May not be enough for others tho. The hubby got The Wipeout and Best Coast ciders, he enjoyed each one, the Wipeout just a bit more because it was less sweet and a bit more abv %We each got the tacos, I had the chicken, the hubby got the pork tacos. The tacos tasted great, street taco style. At $6 for three tacos, a good deal, although we were a bit hungry later. After a while the temperature dipped and we moved inside, which also has ample seating. Inside, the theme is SoCal beachy surf vibes. There's a few TV's if you want to see the games, the hubby got to catch the third quarter of the Lakers game! Four of us also played a round on the fooseball table there. Overall, we spent about 2.5 hrs there just hanging out, enjoying great drinks and food with good friends. A great spot to do just that. We'll be back soon”

“My college friend recommended me this place for its all you can eat. I went on a Friday by myself to try it out, lemme just say, go with another person. I learned the hard way they charge you for two people if you go solo, but anyway now I know and will go back with someone. I ate like never before before, I didn’t eat lunch on purpose to eat here and I can’t wait to go back. Staff is super fast and efficient, ima take my family this time.”
“I held a birthday celebration/event at SoCal - Gardena, and I 1000% recommend this place! Aerin was extremely helpful via email, and very detailed. The booking process was so smooth and transparent. The team upon arrival/day of event, were extremely helpful, and considerate! My whole party was impressed with the service and location. I will definitely book a future event here again! Thank you, SoCal Vibes! :)”
“First time there, Played, & helped host a Rock & Metal show!! .... Great Resturant, Bar, & venue. They serve some dank Hawaiian food, biggest, wings I've seen at any place. Bar Girls were great!! And they provided excellent service!!! Thank you to all who made 3/11/23 such a great time !!!!! We will definitely be back!!!”
“I always go here when I want Seolleongtang. The banchan selection is also very good. Service is efficient and never had to wait long and the place has an authentic Korean ambiance.”

“I ordered the Galbitang for $19.99 and the Galbi & Cold Noodles Combo for $32.99.Let's start with the Galbi & Cold Noodles Combo. The cold noodles left me with mixed feelings. They were decent but not outstanding, falling into the category of mediocrity. However, the Galbi stole the show. It was incredibly delicious and perfectly seasoned. The flavors were spot on, making it a highlight of the meal.As for the Galbitang, it was good but slightly on the salty side. The portion size, on the other hand, was generous, which I found to be a great value for the price. One thing that I really appreciated was the easily accessible parking lot. It made my visit much more convenient. Service was also spot on! They were super attentive and refilled the small dishes quickly.”
“Wow. I stop here we need Korean BBQ That’s why. We hereKorean BBQ. It good restaurant.Food is very good I love Korean BBQI go everywhere. Here is top 5 for me”
“Ordered 3 combo specials, the (#55) bimbimbap with vegetable in a hot pot and LA Galbi, (#56) bimbimbap with vegetable in a hot pot and beef bulgogi, and (#64) grilled fish and kimchi stew. The bimbimbap was an ideal portion if you have an average appetite, delicious and served hot in clay pots. If you have a larger appetite, I would recommend adding other dishes. I would recommend filling up on all the banchan (side dishes) as there are a diverse amount of dishes served. The galbi was well seasoned and marinated with the right amount of chewiness. The bulgogi was a bit dry so add some of the optional spicy sauce to give it an extra kick. The location is moderately busy during lunch on weekends, parking is plenty in the plaza area. Service is really nice and quick.Parking: Not a large plaza but plenty of parking available for your visit”
“Finally stopped in for an early lunch after driving by for years, was not disappointed. We ended up with a custom 8 inch (personal size) regular crust, 12 inch Da Big Kahuna thin crust, and a garden salad with the house dressing. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Both crusts were solid, good texture, only complaint is I'm not a fan of extra salt/seasonings on crusts, but this certainly was not a deal breaker. Salad was super fresh. Staff was friendly and responsive. We'll be back!”
“I have been very disappointed with food and service since covid.A friend mentioned a place down the streetFrom work.Gave it a try. Wow ! FantasticI never thought food could taste so good!”
“Bretty good. The server was very helpful helping me to figure out what sides I wanted. The greens are a little tangy but not too serious. I liked it. The yams were good also. They love to season so expect full flavor.”
“The food was served really quick and it was good delicious. All though, they don't reveal any ingredients for the drinks which is disappointing cause we were fooled thinking their special drinks ( Watermelon punch) was carbonation. The restaurant was really homely reminding me of my home country Kenya. But the Regaee punch, jerk chicken combo, and both of their meat patties were to dieeee for ?Dietary restrictions: The food is soul food which is packed with fat and sugar, the food was perfectly salted ( barely none to some) which I enjoyed But this was definitely not healthy ?”
“I love Rutt's Hawaiian Cafe. The staff is so nice...But I come for the foooood! Especially the MEATS! This is the best BBQ, Hawaiian or otherwise, for the BEST prices and the biggest portion. I love them. P.S., they also do great takeout for the same big-portion-for-small-price-PLUS-sauce experience!”
“Damn good spot. Shrimp and crab mix with the works (corn, potatoes and sausage) highly recommend will be back. 1lb head off shrimp 1lb crab (2 clusters) and a bucket of beer $98”
“We went there today for lunch.Omg.. this place is absolute must try!I am born and raised in Korea so I know the difference between just regular Korean restaurants to an authentic home-made restaurant. This place rocks!Just like the taste I remember how my grandma used to make!!I already see so many Korean people here. They must know like I do!!”
“The food was excellent but the service was aight. I guess. Maybe others will have a better experience. Oh, and ask for gloves because you get no utensils with your food.”
“You know the place is legit and authentic when they are committing to speaking to me and my party in Spanish despite none of being visibly from a Spanish speaking ethnicity. The servers were kind and helpful, and very quick with delivery. The food is absolutely delicious - I strongly recommend getting the aji de gallina. One of the best I've had.”

Furusato BBQ
“First time back since the remodel. Prices have gone up. They used to be like $12 a person but now they are $23.99 a person. Food wise it is still delicious and simple. We always get the brisket, beef bulgogi, and beef belly. Easy and simple choice with rice paper. So, if you are around the Gardena area looking for a quick bite and craving kbbq then Furusato might be a good option for you!! #AndrewApproved ????”

“I loved this place, the food is homemade. I tried the rice with seafood and the squid chicharrón. The food is freshly made, good ingredients. I also had the opportunity to try their cocktails, the pincho was delicious, the attention is as if you were in house, the owner is very kind.Parking: It is not difficult to park.Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is familiarWheelchair accessibility: It is very easy to access with a wheelchair”

“I enjoy coming here whenever there are only 2 of us eating. Service is fast, good quality meat compared to other kbbq spots they have less variety of sides available, but they have the basic ones. If you want KBBQ without having to wait hours I highly recommend this one.”
“Good action in all poker games. Good experienced dealers. Decent food although the turkey club is to be avoided as it has very little turkey and less bacon. Prob shud be taken off the menu.”
“Been eating at this joint for over 10 years. It takes me 30-40 minutes drive but it's so worth it. I have been to many locations but this location is the best. The chicken is made fresh made to order and the seasoning is just right. Customer service is great very friendly.”

Can-zo
“This is a pretty cool little local bar. As of now (Dec 2019) they don't do the canned food thing and they don't do karaoke. They just do regular wine bar type fare. They have a decent selection of wine, 2 Japanese beers on tap, a handful of sake choices, and a handful of shochu choices. They're nestled in a little Japanese plaza in Gardena. The place is quiet. There are 5 or 6 tables plus bar seating for 10-12. I liked it, and I'll definitely come back again.”

“My husband and i are changing our eating habits and when we knew about this place was like a great idea for us, whenever we want something quick and healthy we just think about simply salads. I love their downtown Cobb with grilled chicken salad.”

“Food was average and service was really good. We planned to visit Korean town to have lunch but didn't have enough time. Overall was on average level. You can try it out if you are nearby but not worth to drive long way to taste it.”
“Good energies, Fav spot to eat a entree or appetizers & relax with good company!Vegetarian options: Good option of veggies to eat boiled or grilledKid-friendliness: Every time I bring my baby they always pull up a clean high baby chair! & the waiters always refill our drinks.”

“I was raised on Home made Southern food so trust me i know how Southern food is supposed to taste. I've eaten here 3 times not once have I been disappointed the smothered chicken is my favorite the chicken is crispy and smothered with a delicious homemade gravy, cat fish is flavorful and always served HOTT! Collard greens crack bread fried chicken and macaroni and cheese taste just like my Grandmother's. Oh yea and the service is great everyone is very friendly and attentive! 10 STARS across the board!”
“We were on the way to Los Angeles and looking for a breakfast place. I found Sea Empress Seafood Restaurant perfectly on our way. We decided to have our dim sum fix there. We waited at the parking lot for a few minutes and got our table as soon as they opened. The restaurant looks a little dated. But who cares! We want to have our dim sum breakfast. The dim sum is pretty good. They're hot and fresh. We got what we wanted and were back on the road in less than 45 minutes.Parking: I parked my car near the restaurantWheelchair accessibility: No problem with a wheelchair. ADA parking is available.”

“Great first time experience. Came here with a group of friends celebrating an un-bachelor party. My friend reserved eight spots, and we were able to get whole track for two races (time qualifier/pole position race). The staff are very friendly and have great advice for safety and for those who are a little nervous or first-timers. The track is great, but you'll need a few laps to get used to. Once you do, you can get some hot laps in. We came at 4:30 for our 5pm reservation, checked in, and it was right on time before our first race. The total price for the group was $75 for the two races and included a $10 drink voucher. In which we used for drinks and some snacks and an order hot wings. It was pretty busy for a Saturday, but all the races ran pretty much on time. There was only one hiccup when one kids race was behind a bit. Enjoy!”

“My kiddos and I love the 30-piece nuggets. We also love the grilled chix sandwich on a wheat bun. The thing I like best is their new offerings of the 4oz sauces! I get the 8oz in our local grocery store as well, but it is nice to have that extra sauce easily ready and not in a disposable cup but rather a recyclable ♻️ bottle.”
“One of the easiest 5 stars ever. Food is amazing, prices are very fair, atmosphere is perfect. There’s seating outside, subs already made next to where you order them, and plenty of wine, meats, and cheeses. This place is soooo great.”
“Food was decent here. I got the Dumpling combo which let me have 4 of each of their Dumpling flavors. I was hoping for more flavor. Nothing spectacular here, but still an okay meal if you like light flavor. They had multiple sauces that were also light on the flavor. I may need to try their Potstickers to see if having it fried makes a flavor difference. The Hot and Sour Soup had lots of ingredients and they didn't skimp on them. Like the dumplings, there wasn't as much flavor here as I'd expect. Both items had a good amount of food for the serving. Parking is easy as it is located on the non-busy side of a shopping complex. Service was mediocre. When I was asking about their options, the servers weren't really making it seem like they believed in their own product. There was a subtle indifference in my interaction. The restaurant was clean with lots of seating. Not sure if I would go back for what I ordered, but I may still give those Potstickers a try.”
“Very little to no wait to order, the only wait is for the food to come out, but it makes sense since the food tastes fresh and delicious, the gyro wrap combo is simply amazing, served with the seasoned potatoes, a must for the first time visit. Overall, a great lunch at an amazing value, don’t forget to get a piece of baklava for dessert”
“Good food as usual but way too pricey for someone that has been a customer since the 80's the past couple years the prices have sky rocket (to sit down restaurant prices for take out). I go now maybe twice a year verses at least once a month.”
“I went to the Local Place. They were serving breakfast only. I bought some great pastries to go. They had mochi donuts strawberry and matcha flavors, 3 flavor cupcakes, passion fruit cake, guava pastry. The selection is plentiful and everything looks so delicious, it was hard to choose. Everything tastes wonderful and flavors are superb. (Sorry I didn't take any photos)”

“The tacos are very good. My favorite is the burrito. I like it mainly because the burrito doesn't have rice. Just your meat of choice, beans, cheese, onions, cilantro, and salsa if you like.”
“Exceptional food quality and service. Alcohol beverages were at a higher price point but a good affordable price for high quality and fresh fish. Highly recommended!Kid-friendliness: They even offer a kids menu!”
