“This place is a gem hidden in Gardena. The bone broths, pancake, and everything from this place is good. The service has always been fast and friendly. I highly recommend this place.”
“A Japanese-style izakaya. The sushi was of course delicious, but the hot sake I hadn't had in a long time? was super delicious~
Once in a while, it's nice to have a relaxing drink at a restaurant like this ?”
“The spicy brisket soup was satisfying. Not too salty and not too spicy. The glass noodles were the perfect chewy texture. The purple rice was amazing as well. The side dishes were fresh and crispy. I especially liked the kimchi. Highly recommend the dumplings. Hard to find this quality.”
“Sweet Potato Pizza is awesome and Frisx Chicken with Korean Sauce is really delicious! Two Thumbs Up!”

“Love this place! Second time here and they're service and food is outstanding. This place is pretty low key and open late, perfect for post concert meal. Also, I may have spotted our "Fast food secrets club president" dining here tonight.”
“A friend who frequents this establishment brought me for lunch today with another friend. Being a vegetarian I was impressed by the selections I would love to try. I ended up ordering the salmon, scallop, spinach cream pasta with capers. It was delicious! My friends ordered the pork katsu and hamburger combo and it looked awesome. The portions are so generous and it comes with soup and salad for the combo and mine came with a small salad and homemade bread. And the family run restaurant is very service oriented, friendly and a very clean and comfortable place. Highly recommended”
“This was my first visit to Myung Ga Haejangguk. The service was fantastic. They placed electric fans by me and were very attentive. We had the yukgaejang, a spicy beef brisket soup with sprouts, mushrooms, and rice noodles—it was amazing. The portion size was much larger than I expected. It was worth every penny. I highly recommend it 100%.”

“The food is really authentic and good! The guys working are Syrian and know their shawarma well! place in clean and comfortable inside and customer service is top notch!
Vegetarian options: falafel, hummus, babaganoush, salads, french fries wrap, falafel wrap”
“What a delightful SoCal omakase that I think stands out really well both for being fun and delicious.
Sushi Sonagi is located in a strip mall on Artesia Blvd. before you hit the 91 freeway and by the early evening when you arrive, parking seems to be plentiful.
Coming in, I was immediately greeted and given a reserved spot at the intimate sushi bar. The sushi bar itself is really fun and full of small LA-focused delights like a bobblehead of sports stars. And the music played old school 90's and early 00's jams.
Behind the counter is Chef Daniel Son who does a wonderful job guiding the whole journey with a super friendly and laidback attitude. I loved how the ingredients are not only from his travels in Japan but also locally from the Torrance Farmers Market where I go often myself. Also love the presentation from the plates to all of the techniques he uses that you get a first hand look at.
Drink-wise, they have carafes/bottles of sake as well as some beer options. I opted for one of the sake carafes which lasted me throughout the meal. The waitress that was serving the entire seating that night was also super funny and laid back as well along with being super attentive.
As most omakase menus, this one changes every season. Here were some of my personal favorites of our 18 courses:
*Flounder fin: One of the best sushi items we had that night. So buttery and delightful. Loved the explanation and conversations as well around some of the facts and challenges around serving this.
*Hanasaki dolsot bap: Such a clever and delicious take on the dolsot bap. It's presented beautifully with the crab shell and then portioned out to all the patrons. If you wanted extras, the Chef is more than willing to accommodate.
*Miso butter atsuyaki tamago: Loved this extra little oomph to the tamago with the miso butter. Again, just buttery smooth with a hint of sweetness. So good.
*Chawanmushi: His chawanmushi was a great use of local ingredients like the summer corn and ikura. Refreshing and playful.
*Scarlet shrimp: Absolutely delicious and delectable. A bright flavor.
At the end, not only do you get the full menu but a really cute handwritten card that was a really nice touch.
Cheers to Chef Son and his crew for a wonderful and delightful experience.”
“Master Damrongchai from Thailand came to visit and look at the restaurant's feng shui and eat together.
The food is very delicious. The cook and the Thai staff are all lovely.”
“as recommended by ishigo optometrist over the road : we have just finished a great lunch- the restaurant is clean and modern with booths and tables and cheerful staff - big and well presented mains- I had pho: the others had the spectacular looking garlic shrimp noodles: we particularly liked the crispy: rolls and rounded off with coffees of course. now off for a long walk to settle it all down.”
“Worth it !! Everytime I visited to this place always worth it and same portion. Damn Fine good pho
Especially if you’re not sure about your order I will suggest Rib Pho thanks”
“Muy buena bienvenida de Liz. Excelente atención, y la comida es buena. 100% recomendado❤️”
“Owners are very nice. Delicious homemade ice cream. Flavors change and they’re adding new products.”
“A Japanese-style izakaya. The sushi was of course delicious, but the hot sake I hadn't had in a long time? was super delicious~
Once in a while, it's nice to have a relaxing drink at a restaurant like this ?”
“Great selection of cold cuts, bread and pastries but the service could improve, they expect everyone that goes in there have been there many times but there's people who have been there for the first time and they get treated rather harsh like I was”
“Great people and great food are always a winning combination. Employees at The Toss Up are very friendly. They made us feel like family. There are so many delicious food and drink options on the menu. I WAS looking forward to trying something new on my next visit but I loved the Greek salad so much, I may have to order it again.”
“It was hard to find the restaurant because it was in the back corner of a business complex. It's very easy to miss, but there's plenty of parking at least. Me and 2 friends ordered from the kiosk and waited about 15m for 3 sandwiches and fries. Inside it's quite small with only a table and bar with 4 seats each.
I got the Signature Sandwich with LVL 2 sauce. The sandwich was massive, and the chicken was so thick, incredibly juicy, and perfectly cooked. The breading and cabbage were crunchy too. The mayo was a creamy complement to the chicken without being overpowering. The spicy sauce was served on the side, and it was so deliviously flavorful and not only spicy. My only complaint here is that I wish there was more spicy sauce and that it was spread inside the sandwich, because I kept forgetting to drizzle sauce on between bites and still ran out.
The salt and vinegar fries tasted exactly like the Lay's flavor but with more potato from the fries, of course. Honestly the fries were nothing special but they gave so much that the box was overflowing.
I tried my friend's Kimchi Egg Sandwich too. The ham was pretty forgettable or missable, but the egg was delicious. The egg was incredibly moist, sweet, and delicately salty, and it paired well with the mild acidity of the kimchi.
We chatted with the owner a bit when we picked up our food and she was very sweet and kind. She made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. I hope more people check this place out, because it's unfortunately very missable in its current location. I'm going to come back but will definitely share a sandwich next time.”
“This place is a gem hidden in Gardena. The bone broths, pancake, and everything from this place is good. The service has always been fast and friendly. I highly recommend this place.”
“Best sandwiches. Everything is delicious. Made to your liking. Custom made”
“Located in the food court of Tokyo Central in Gardena, this Japanese Tonkatsu restaurant is an authentic hidden gem for Tonkatsu lovers?
Tried their pork Katsudon set (you have a choice between pork or chicken also) and the pork upon first bite was juicy and meat was very tender. Outside katsu was crunchy, the pork is lean and didnt have any fat too. Miso soup and cabbage salad was fresh and not instant, I would visit this place again. 5 stars??”
“We were just passing through and looking for something close to our hotel, and so happy we found this spot! Because it was our first time, we got complimentary chili - definitely see why it’s 7 times award winning! Very flavorful and just the right amount of spice. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, and very accommodating to make sure our order is to our liking. We had 2 bento boxes, Kaula pork and bbq pork. The portion sizes were perfect and the meat was very flavorful. The sides of macaroni and cucumber salad were just as good. We also had one of their many specials of the day, fish tacos, which were incredibly fresh and simple, exactly what I want for fish tacos. Next time we’re visiting LA, we’ll be sure to be back!”
“A hidden gem kbbq in Gardena. We had the duck set (about $149) which fed about 2-3 people. It comes with side dishes. The price is pretty high but their meat quality is great. It’s one of the most tender grilled duck I’ve had. They do all the grilling for you and finish with fried rice.”

“We love this place. They have many different choices of ramen. The servings are Huge !! I would recommend this place to Everyone.”
“Love this place! Second time here and they're service and food is outstanding. This place is pretty low key and open late, perfect for post concert meal. Also, I may have spotted our "Fast food secrets club president" dining here tonight.”
“These tacos hit the spot and took me back to having authentic tacos at any small town in Mexico! The sauce was spicy as it should and the onion cured with serranos was perfect for eating alone like a taco. We had asada, buche and chorizo and it didn't disappoint. Now the queso birria tacos and that juicy al pastor were another level. To lick your fingers.”

“I love this place. The Beijing duck was delicious and the crispy pork belly with Chinese broccoli was amazing as well. The restaurant itself is clean and we had the best service!”
“Definitely one of the better areas in the South Bay and smart to put it in such a convenient plaza! The ice cream is always very high quality and all flavors are good no matter the pick. Just the regular Honeymee ice cream is a tasty treat to cool your stomach as the honey balances out the plain vanilla flavor of the ice cream, not to mention it's a actual honeycomb! Definitely going to go here a lot more in the near future. ?”

“This place is a godsend and saved me an emergency room visit!! I hadn’t had a normal BM for a week and the drink they have here is better than what they give me at the hospital. Thank you all so much and I will for sure be a forever customer :) even though I live in KY.”
“I have 12 year coming to this place!!!! I love it. Always so kind and welcoming, the food is amazing and so are the employees ! I recommend this place to almost anyone !”
“Great service, friendly staff and the owner, Paul, showed warm hospitality. The prices were great and the quality of the food will definitely have me going back!”
“The food was outstanding and arrived in about 20 minutes. One order was enough to feed both of us, and there was plenty of it. The place wasn’t crowded, so we had no trouble finding a seat.”
“Had a great meal over here before leaving for airport. Service was fast, food was good. Left my iPad behind and owner helped to keep it until I came back.
Kudos to them”

“We went as a family! We have a small child, so the kids’ club was really appreciated! Soft drinks, toys, and snacks were free all the time, which was fantastic. The BBQ was delicious, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was great. The staff were all very friendly. Next time, I want to bring my parents along too. It was an absolutely wonderful place!”

“Jabar was the most polite and welcoming and humble human I’ve encountered in a very long time. And the food was amazing too!”
“This hidden gem has limited parking, small indoor seating area with some outdoor seating. The mummy shrimp are crispy and delicious (5 per order).
The seafood soup is tasty, but like everything here the portions are small.”
“I just ate here for my birthday on Saturday. I have been to Belize and this food took me right back there. The owner Leslie, is from Belize and is very friendly and attentive, as his the staff. Phenomenal food, and large portions. Get the sampler platter for your appetizer, you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you are ever in Gardena, you should stop here. Gardena Cinema is a few blocks away, and is also fantastic. The restaurant closes at 7pm, and most shows start at 7:30, so it makes for the perfect evening.”
“I have been very disappointed with food and service since covid.A friend mentioned a place down the streetFrom work.Gave it a try. Wow ! FantasticI never thought food could taste so good!”
“Go to place in Gardena for the lunch and the dinner.”
“First time trying shabu shabu and it did not disappoint!!!”
“the family owned business is truly into customer service but the menu is huge and full of delicious food to choose from..the chicken is so reasonably price and has always been a hit at parties and potlucks..the home made tortillas are to live for..I'm truly proud of the parents leaving legacies for their 3 sons..now each has a store to run...keep up the amazing work.”
“Great little hole in the wall. Came here with my nephew who thinks himself a Gordon Ramsey from wish. But the wings were spot on. The chicken sandwich wasn’t too impressive. But the wings should be the thing to go after.”
“First timer, had the 2/$8.99 burger special. Burgers ? were good, fresh & juicy! Fries ? were cooked crispy & perfect by request. Will definitely ?? be back for more!”
“Best Korean chicken in the area hands-down. More of a bar vibe. Snow cap is a must. Fried chicken, but not oily. It’s the best. Sweet potato fries, waffle fries so awesome. Bluemoon pitcher and we called it a night.Weekday happy hour specials. Sorry forgot to take a pic. Can’t wait to go back!

“"This place is amazing! The service was top-notch—10/10. I didn’t have to wait long to get seated, and my food arrived promptly. It was just as I expected in terms of taste and quality. My server, Guillermina, was polite, attentive, and made my visit even more enjoyable. On top of that, the environment was clean, inviting, and had a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!"”
“DEL YEAH! DEL never disappoints. I always get the snack pack, 6 hard or soft tacos with 6 bean & cheese burritos. I like how you can choose green or red sauce for your burritos. This pack is the best bang for your buck. Tried there epic burrito ? which hit great too. Surprisingly, their burgers are tasty too - always ask for extra burger sauce & thank me later - I'll Be Back!

“En la tarde me gusta venir muy buena atención y bien tranquilo solo el café no está fresco lo demás muy bien”
“Came here for breakfast while traveling in Washington. Establishment seems to be well managed and well maintained. Matthew was our server and did an excellent job of taking care of us. We ordered the Breakfast Sampler, which I believe used to be called the Grand Slam. It came with two eggs, three meats, hash browns, and buttermilk pancakes. Breakfast of champions! We were quite satisfied when we left to hit the road to Forks, WA. We would definitely return if we were ever in the area.”

“Wonderful and cozy place with extremely delicious ice cream! I like that they put a lot of fruits in your bowl and ice creams tastes so good, not just like a frozen water. Workers are friendly, this place is always clean and tidy. They have a lot of options and sides for your own bowl to make the taste unforgettable.
I recommend!”

“It was our first time here and I must say it was totally worth it. the service was on point and always attentive. The food was amazing. The appetizers and the main dishes were honestly some of the best udon soup I've ever had. The prices are more than reasonable for what you get. We will definitely be coming back here from now on.”
“Samin is super clean and delish.
Korean ribs are good too.
They are run by elderly couple so may not be as fast as other restaurants but still worth it for waiting.”
“I love this place. The Beijing duck was delicious and the crispy pork belly with Chinese broccoli was amazing as well. The restaurant itself is clean and we had the best service!”
“An amazing "conveyor" belt sushi restaurant with high quality fish and great vibes. I use quotes because the belt is only used to deliver the food to your table as opposed to the rotating dishes. It's located inside of Tokyo central and there's gunna be a long wait for dinner but honestly.... it's such a great market to wander that you'll find the long wait to be fun.
Almost everything we ordered was delicious, mouth watering, and satisfying quality fish. The salmon quality is so butter smooth and I actually recommend the salmon party if that's your favorite type of fish.
Most items are decently priced and you can totally get full off of 30 bucks if you order the lower tier stuff. Service was quick and friendly.
Tip: You don't need to order on the tablet lol it'll get your arm tired from swiping the fixed screen. Just scan the QR code and order through your phone.

“10 years did not eat that fried fish, so happy, same tasty like we had them in Falls Church and Woodbridge in Virginia. Fish are fresh, cooked just right, service very friendly, place very clean.”
“Best carnitas I’ve had in years! Had lunch here today, only outside seating, so no frills, but more than made up with it in food quality and low prices. I will be going back here. A very good value and great food, plus if you’re up late at night they’re open until midnight most nights. My pictures aren’t the best, too much mid day glare, but you can read their menu.”
“yes omg they have so much stuff and it's just delicious I can't wait to try the other items”
“Some of the best onion rings I’ve ever had made in house never frozen unbelievable they accommodated me and flat grilled my hamburger cause I do not like it charbroiled it was over the top. Good going back.”

“Ohhhh boy was I in for a treat when I walked into this place, don’t be fooled by a it’s dated demeanour, this place is fantastic if you want some amazing Taco that’s reasonably priced. They also have great drinks and yummy side dishes! Thank goodness I live close by, so I can eat here regularly.
Would recommend 9/10!
Kid-friendliness: All ages welcome! ?”
“Great service, atmosphere was upbeat and plenty of great food to cook up! Get there early s because place was packed when I left.”
“I knew I was in for a treat when I saw a poster on the wall explaining what is binchotan. Torimatsu is one of the top, if not the best authentic yakitori joints I have eaten at in LA/OC. I enjoy making yakitori at home (with binchotan in a japanese grill, skewering and deconstructing chicken to the best of my abilities), but will definitely be returning to enjoy the skewers that were thoughtfully prepared and grilled by the yakitori master.
The restaurant has very limited seating, so would highly recommend making a reservation for parties more than 2. I came a little after opening on Saturday, and luckily was squeezed in after 15ish minutes. The place was at its max capacity after two additional (I presume reserved) parties showed up between 6-7pm.
With regards to the food, I can't stress the attention to detail given to each skewer. Every skewer was cooked in a way to highlight the innate flavor and texture, so you appreciate every part of the chicken. The tare (sauce) was light, and I was often surprised at how juicy some skewers were (given my personal experience cooking them at home). The meat was threaded on the skewer to allow optimal grilling efficiency, bones were strategically removed to allow easier eating, small pieces of fat hidden within the skewer to make it more juicy, small green onions tucked inside tofu skin to change the flavors, etc.
Highlights of the meal:
- Tsukune (meatballs): so juicy and was not sauce heavy
- Gizzard skin in soy sauce: this was a pleasant appetizer and tasted like braised tofu. Always thought this was a byproduct when making gizzard skewers.
- Gizzard: cooked perfectly
- Liver: so creamy
- Cartilage: so juicy, idk how he did it
- Heart: loved how packed and juicy it came out
- Duck: first skewer I ate, but my second clue that the chef knew his stuff. Piece of fat was wedged between the pepper and green onion so that they soak up the oils
- Chicken wrapped in tofu skin: first time seeing this anywhere. There were hidden green onions inside the tofu skin that gave the skewer a refreshing taste.
- Bell pepper stuffed with chicken: another one of those "how is this so juicy" skewers.
- Chicken tail: like a mix between the cartilage and skin skewer. Recommend getting this.
We got the Torimatsu course (10 skewers, soup, salad, ice cream) which is essentially the omakase, and added on a la carte skewers and a couple appetizers. For first timers, I think the Torimatsu course is perfect and leaves enough room to experiment with more adventurous skewers. We ended up eating 15 skewers each + splitting the raw chicken and gizzard skin apps, which left us both completely satisfied.
If you're a fan of yakitori and miss eating yakitori in Japan, definitely check this place out. Looking forward to my next visit!
Parking: Parking was plentiful at 530PM on Saturday”
Cheap Eats
“This is a Los Angeles gem. Excellent quality, friendly staff, a creative menu with the unlikely fusion of japanese and italian flavors. It is no wonder they have been in business for decades.
Generous portions, and prices that will make you think it's the early 2000s again.
My personal favorite is the wasabi squid spaghetti! and be sure to get their famous $1 salad!”
“Excellent Pad Thai ( not really big enough to share). Super delicious !
Clean place
Clean bathrooms
Excellent service
Nice Atmosphere to relax in !”
“My sister looked this BBQ place up on Google. In Los Angeles, it's newly open. She bought Brisket. She said the meat was good. She picked baked beans for her side. They put the sauce on the side a slice of bread.”
“We needed a birthday cake ASAP for a new employee's birthday, they were available on Postmates so we weren't sure what we would get! OMG we were sent the Strawberry Shortcake 7" cake. It was moist, not too sweet, with fresh strawberries. The best part was the real cream frosting! Thank you for making our last minute birthday lunch a success, we've found our go-to bakery!!!”
“Delcious and affordable.
Black bean noodles hit the craving
Hot garlic shrimp were plump
Sweet sour pork sauce was perfect (not overly tangy)”
“Absolutely amazing. The place is a little bit small, so there's not a lot of places to sit when they're busy, but the food is sooo good! I tried their beef bugolgi and it was the best that I've had in quite a while. I will definitely be coming back again and trying new things as well.”
“Their yogurt drink is me and my husband’s new addiction. Just enough sweetness and tartiness. Their boba is on hard side but my preference is more squishy one hence 4 stars”
“This place has amazing CHICKEN!!!
It's a weekly meal for us.
With Arroz y Frijoles. Any other combination choice will NOT include TORTILLAS. The green SALSA, fire!!!! My wife loves this plaCe. When I show up at home, the Cat n Dog go crazy!!! Juiciest breast ever... has a chicken soup great for sick days.
(WEAR A MASK, IF U SHOW UP SICK, DUH)
I do enjoy the new York steak. However, seasoning could match Western Hollywoods location.
Parking: First come 1st serve...my truck fits only in magnum spots... be careful crossing the street”
“I first came here around 1992/3. I believe it’s the same owner?!?! Ramen is excellent…and huge portion. Their chahan (fried rice) is also to die for. And their gyoza is also excellent. These are the 3 main things I order every time. We moved to the east coast but every time I visit Southern California, I MUST stop here. I’m so happy that after all these years, they still are around.
It is a very small restaurant…but I like it and the food is what I come for, I could care less how small it is.”
“I love the food, the place, the attention and I am surprised by the memory that the waiters have when placing my order.
Parking: There are few spaces in the parking lot, but it is worth looking outside”
“Went for the first time this morning around 9:20am ish. Wanted to try getting into coffee and this was nearby. I got the iced banana milk latte, normally places I’ve been to don’t have a good banana milk coffee drink. This place had made it perfectly. Service was rlly nice, I was greeted by both staff and they were rlly nice. The asthetic is very nice and calm. A place you can go early morning to chill and work.”
“Been coming here for years. I usually get the two item combo. The amount of food you get is filling. Food always tastes fresh. Here are the items I like: teriyaki chicken, tempura, salmon avocado rolls, spicy tuna rolls, and miso soup. I've tried other items and they were all good but I keep coming back to these. The place is clean and the service is friendly. Parking can be challenging during peak hours but I've always managed to find a spot. Give this place a try”
“The wait time was perfect. Nora our waitress was really kind & attentive to take the order of our family. Great food for any of you interested is 100/10 really familiar environment.”
“I’m a single mom of 2 and since we discovered this place back in Nov 2023 we can’t stop going, it has become our sushi place. Very Fresh, Clean, Happy and Delicious environment I would never go back to high end sushi places, this place offer that and more. I almost didn’t want to write a review risking it becoming popular and full but it’s that good. 100%”
“I had a delicious budae stew yesterday. But I was surprised because the reviews weren't that great. Has the owner changed before? The service and taste were good. Overall, there wasn't anything particularly wrong with it, but I guess I didn't pay attention to the food... Anyway, the broth and ingredients in Budae Jjigae were fresh and the broth was rich and delicious.”
“I have been very disappointed with food and service since covid.A friend mentioned a place down the streetFrom work.Gave it a try. Wow ! FantasticI never thought food could taste so good!”
“Clean facilities, friendly staff and absolutely incredibly delicious food made to order!”
“Small Japanese restaurant who offers daily lunch specials that sound delish. I went here on a Sunday and ordered pork katsudon which comes with miso soup, Japanese pickles and pork on rice. It was delicious and I really enjoyed the lunch. I was very hungry so I dug in and didn't take any photos.”
“Go to place in Gardena for the lunch and the dinner.”
“I randomly stopped in here to grab some take out. They were only going to be open for another 20 mins. They greeted me with smiles even though they were about to close. While waiting for my take out I noticed just how vibrant the environment was. And it all centered on the two main chefs at the front that night they were very energetic and full of laughs and smiles with the other customers. I will definitely try to come here more if my work schedule lets me.”
“First time trying shabu shabu and it did not disappoint!!!”
“One of the delicious Japanese restaurants that has been around for a long time. This is a restaurant run by the owner and his wife.
The general doesn't talk much, so he looks scary at first glance, but when you talk to him, he's really nice. The wife serves it cutely on the floor.
Of course we guarantee the taste.
There are also authentic Japanese items on the menu, so you can go back to Japan after eating them.
Please use it once.
Parking: There is a Japanese cake shop, a Korean izakaya, and a barber shop in a small mall.
Depending on the time of day, you may not be able to park in front of the store.
but it's okay. There's more space.
Don't worry.”
“No wonder this place is a legit 5.0 on Google. Very friendly crowd of regulars, great beer and even scored some free tacos for a birthday celebration! So good! I collect stickers so they gave me a label ?.”
“The atmosphere here is delightful. The low lights and jazz music are really quite relaxing.I have to give the biggest props to the man behind the bar, Yagi-San. He's a master at his craft and mixes the best tasting cocktails around.”

“"I had an incredible experience at this Korean BBQ restaurant. The customer service is truly outstanding—every staff member was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great meal. The food was fantastic, with a variety of delicious options to choose from, all prepared to perfection. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of both the food and service. If you're looking for a place with great food, excellent service, and good value, this is definitely the spot to try!"”
“Delicious food with wonderful management. You can’t go wrong with dumplings or the soups here. Friendly staff and super sweet people. All around lovely place to eat.”
“Stopped in after dinner at Sushi Bei. The place have been upgraded a bit since the last ownership. Way less dive feeling (but the old way was great too!).We just had a couple drinks and didn’t sing. The atmosphere was great! A very fun party and people were having a great time. They have many premium liquors and several mezcals (my fave). Looks like they no longer have the private room in the back.I would go back and would recommend!”

“We went there today for lunch.Omg.. this place is absolute must try!I am born and raised in Korea so I know the difference between just regular Korean restaurants to an authentic home-made restaurant. This place rocks!Just like the taste I remember how my grandma used to make!!I already see so many Korean people here. They must know like I do!!”
“This is a local place with good food, good people and a nice relaxed atmosphere. It's a bit pricey but it is good. We got the triple threat (shrimp, shrimp, and more shrimp), and it was good (the house sauce was very good, not too spicy, not bland at all). It is expensive, averaging 35 to 45 per person, but it was good. Have i said that enough. I went when It first opened, and it was ok, I think it has gotten better, or at least this time, it was better.”
“Good action in all poker games. Good experienced dealers. Decent food although the turkey club is to be avoided as it has very little turkey and less bacon. Prob shud be taken off the menu.”

“Tacos Super Gallito:Street tacos from the catering truck. As of August 2018 they cost $1.59 each plus tax. I got 4 Al pastor to go, so they come in the traditional aluminum foil wrapped. They give you the diced onions, cilantro, limes and radishes in individually wrapped plastic bags. I came on a Saturday at 11 am. So there was only one person at the time and she will get your food out but at the same time she is prepping for the 12 o’clock opening time. So that’s a big plus that they take care of the customers even if they really aren’t ready and set up.The tacos are the small tortilla size regular street tacos. They are not over flowing with meat like at other taco trucks but they deliver a punch of flavor they is very pleasant to the taste buds.If you put salsa on your tacos then the green salsa will also send you to pleasant vill since it is also very tasty but it brings a medium heat that is not to over powering. They have an A grade from the county and even though they feel a bit pricey they are well worth the cost. I would recommend this spot to my friends and family and will definitely be coming back.”
“This is a fun dim sum restaurant where your family can go and choose different types of dim sum and fried bread from a cart when you're craving dim sum on the weekend.
Vegetarian options: Stir-fried Bok Choy

“Wonderful woman was working the counter. Smiling and pleasant. Made me feel very welcome. But she needed help behind the counter and there wasn't anyone to help.”
“If I could give this place and location more stars than 5, I would. The food is always fresh and crispy, the vibe is always fun, big portions for a great price, and the employees are my favorite part! John specifically is always in SUCH a happy mood and always so welcoming. Even if I was having a bad day, I’d still leave with a huge smile if he was working. His energy is infectious! Helena is absolutely amazing as well! 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend this place.”
“Great atmosphere and great customer service.”

“The welcoming environment, the food was beautifully prepared with love and soul. I visited from Seattle. Every time I come to LA, this will be the first place I come to! You will NOT be disappointed.”
