“Great atmosphere, kind of like a Dirt Dog of Tacos environment. Clean, great music, friendly and helpful staff. Not your typical tacos, we had the nachos, a burrito and th3 brisket tacos. Everything was delicious, the brisket tacos were my favorite. Will definitely be returning.“
“Best BBQ hands down! I have been getting my Que for over 3 years now. So much they know me by name and my order. I'm a no sauce person and a lot of places can't deliver that "wow" effect when it comes to seasoning. But Rowes seasonings is to perfection. All the sides are fire, my favorite is the potato salad. Plates are well portioned, for a great price. And we ain't gonna talk about the Peach Cobbler??. Gotta get there early tho, because by 3 or 4 some food can be sold, that's just how good it is. No cap, I have business I do bi weekly in the area and I never leave without going thru and grabbing a plate. Keep bringing that ? Que Rowe I'm a customer for life!!!“
“AMAZING cookies! They were not kidding when they said they stand behind their craft. I've been on a cookie streak recently and have tried many different shops in the area with over 4.5+ in ratings. Most often than not, I left feeling disappointed. Cookies would either be stale, too hard, too brittle, too sweet, or pretty good but not worth $5-6. This is one cookie shop worth talking about. They carried all the exotic flavors, with the right texture and sweetness. I look forward to trying other flavors next time I visit. 1. Guava Cheese (9.5/10) - I love guava, and I love cheese but unfortunately for me, I can't do goat anything. Though there's only a hint of goat cheese, it's still there and you can taste it, if you are sensitive like me. Otherwise, it would've been a 10/10. Amazing texture and flavor. You will love this if goat cheese is your jam. 2. Matcha Strawberry Yuzu Mochi (9/10) - it's ALL there! A melange of different flavors that blend quite beautifully. Mochi is a little gritty (don't expect Japanese mochi texture here), but the cookie itself was so good and that touch of yuzu was exceptional. 3. Mango Sticky Rice (8.5/10) - Again, another unique flavor mix that was really nice. Sticky rice on top tends to get a little hard over time, but if you're a mango fan, this would be a flavor for you. They did not skimp on the ingredients and there's enough dried mango chunks for you to enjoy with every bite!“
“Hands down, the best, best birria tacos I've ever had!!I've been eyeing this taco truck for the longest time when I was looking for birria tacos. I missed the chance to go from the last time I came by. Many other taco vendors also recommend this truck for goat birria tacos. We got some goat birria quesatacos, labio taco dorados, which were lips, asada vampiro, and of course, gotta get consome. Not many places have goat birria, and most of the time, they tend to be too dry. Those quesatacos were super tender, juicy, cheesy, and packed with tons of spices and flavors. Dipping in the beefy, hardy consome, game over. I've never seen beef lips before, so I gotta give a try. It got the texture of beef tongue, also quite delicious. Like any other taco trucks and vendors, service is always impeccable. Everyone is very friendly and supportive to other vendors. I said it once, and I'm gonna say it again. The best birria tacos!!!“
“Love stopping by here after a Dodgers game...always get tacos Al Pastor & then finish the night off with dessert from the churro stand next to the troca. So delish. Tonight we got 4 tacos de al pastor, a burrito de al pastor, an agua de horchata, & a bottle of Sidral (apple soda) & spent $31.Parking: Small parking area since it's also a tire shop...but the security makes it work by telling you where to park.“
“This was easily one of the best dinner experiences of my entire trip to California. The queue is long, but who cares? Just stand in line and salivate at the thought of insane tacos, or perhaps a stupidly large burrito that can feed a family of three. Or you know, just get there earlier. The servers were super cheery and helpful as well, which is always a pleasure. The food is so flavourful, it even managed to retain its flavour when cold! Did I mention the food is amazing? It's amazing.“
“I returned to try the menudo and it was absolutely delicious. The juice was flavorful and full bodied. The panza was soft and delectable. The meat was generous (but not cut small enough! I had to tear pieces off bc of how huge the meat slices are and juice would splash on my shirt, or I would burn my mouth and fingers trying to rip the meat apart with my teeth and fingers.) Other than the pain and looking like a doofus because I had to tuck napkins into my collar, It was worth it! Also, their tortillas are SO DAMN GOOD. She makes them by hand the flavor is stellar. I would like to bring my family here for menudo breakfast one day!“
“These are addictive, juicy tacos that when you eat, you have to hit the pause button on any other activity going on...they are just that mind blowing. Afterwards you'll be thinking, when can my stomach take some more because they're so overpowering you won't be able to shake them from your mind. A modest tent set up outside a convenience store, next to the "Mirror Motel" along a backstreet in the Watts neighborhood converts into a carnival of flavor at the weekends when Mathew starts cooking beef asada and birria stew and toasts up his tacos on the hot iron griddle. Here is the bonafide, authentic people's kitchen taste of Los Angeles, far from some gentrified, corporate chain, cookie cutter, sterile offering in Beverly Hills. These tacos filled with stew represent the way food is served at home, not a smorgasboard of menu choices, just a couple of things done well, consistently, and dependably. They represent the taste of the working masses of Los Angeles whose bloodlines in this city are long while weaving in influences from various Mexican regions. It doesn't get more rustic and truly delightful than Mathew's tent stall where the corn tortillas are dipped in stew juices to soften them up before they are toasted on the griddle. His vat of birria conjures up the warmth and depth of roasted onions, cinammon, chiles, and slow cooked meat that falls into shreds off your fingers as you slurp up the juices. At $1.50 a pop Mathew's tacos are overflowing with complex flavor and are sensually overwhelming. You can tease the palate with fresh radishes and a suite of fresh tomato salsas, pickled onion and chilli sauces set out to garnish the tacos. The backstreet experience is indelible from your mind. I'm dreaming of going back next weekend. Please bear in mind he's only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday as I understand it.“
“Let me say: I LOVE the fact that they make the shells fresh on-the-spot (got that extra corn flavor) and it's pressed right in front of you. Plus you can see them grill everything right there. Pretty self-explanatory: You start at the end of the line where the menu is. You let the lady making the shells know what you want, and she'll start the shells for those items, then you confirm with the next guy cutting up the stuff what kind of meat, so he'll cut it up and throw them on the shells once they're grilled correctly. Any more from the grill is the next guy over, but if you're good, you can skip straight to paying where you can get a drink.Horchata tasted good too!One thing to note: When the guy asked "Que carne?" (What meat?) My cousin said something in the most gringo accent there was. Homeboy's face got contorted as he tried to guess what she meant. Yo, give her a break, she's from Chicago, she's about as white as they come, but she tried. ?“
“Bomb Tacos Burritos and Tortas you name it super filled with charbroiled meat over filled I might say all kinds of toppings fresh refreshers you can find them on the very corner called Vanessa's Tijuana Tacos give them a try you will love it just as much as my family did“
“I’m here on a work trip and needed something in the area quickly. My previous career was in cheffing for 10 years so I have great Knowledge.Excellent foodExcellent serviceExcellent experienceThank you and don’t forget the tall Australian from Vancouver“
“I've been going around L.A. looking for the best birria and believe me, we finally hit the spot. Not only is it delicious but also has great customer service. As a fellow entrepreneur/business owner, I can easily say, they're doing great. Stop by and try a taco, maybe 2, hey, why not the birria plate if you're really hungry!“
“Tacos La Flamita Mixe has either moved or opened a second stand. You can now find them on the corner of Bundy and Goshen in Brentwood, in front of the Ralph's on Wilshire and Bundy. Can't say enough good things about this food! The al pastor is not dry but not oily either - perfect. Asada is great. Their selection of salsas and toppings are awesome. Great bang for your buck. Stuffed burritos and quesadillas. Feed a family of 4 easily for $50 to $60 bucks. The people working the stand are super nice and down to earth. They usually put out some of those small plastic stools to sit on the sidewalk. There's a curb dividing the sidewalk and the Ralph's parking lot that you can also sit on. Perfect for a quick bite.“
“Best taco truck in the game! Great service! everyone is always kind and has a great attitude, parking is always easy, tables outside to sit down if you want and the tacos are always served with great sides and it's delicious all together“
“Wow! Sunday live music 12-3 PM. Delicious mole sampler and pozole hit the spot! Great atmosphere! Attentive staff! It was even more special as it was Dia de Los Muertos season and they had a beautiful ofrenda display. This restaurant I will recommend to friends visiting L.A. A+ all around.“
“My go-to place to get good cabeza, lengua, tripa and pastor in a taco or burrito.Bonus points for serving nopales on the side together with the pickled red onions with habanero, cilantro and lime. Variety of sauces that are self service.During the time of visit there was a horchata and pineapple drinks available.Cash and zelle payments are accepted.Park at the edge of the Japanese grocery store parking lot. This is way better than the taco stand on national and Sawtelle that lacked flavor with their meats.“
“(Translated by Google) Rich carnitas tacos, very well served, well filled, the extra a golden tortilla to accompany it.(Original)Ricos tacos de carnitas, muy bien servidos bien llenitos, el extra una tortilla doradita de acompañamiento.Parking: Es una lonchera, las mesas y sillas están sobre la banqueta por lo tanto el estacionamiento es en la callé, donde se pueda.“
“Best tacos in the world . I recommend this place . I've tried so many different tacos de birria and there's nothing compare to this spot. I come here almost every weekend that's why I don't lose weight :( I'm a fan of birria but trust you'll love this spot !“
“First of all, I really wanna give a shout out to this young women who’s doing it big, honestly her food it’s another level. It’s hard to find a really good authentic Mexican cuisine. I saw her on Instagram and I wanted to give her a try. I didn’t know what to expect. She’s located on Central Avenue in Los Angeles close to el segundo, went there. She had five options which all of them taste great. But I want to emphasize in two guisados, Chicharrón in salsa Verde, and mole poblano de pollo ? . Was really tasty. That chicharrón was super clean, but the winner was the mole poblano with pollo, ??????????? fire he had that smokiness, sweetness and berry reach in favor. With the handmade tortillas. How can you go wrong please ?Give me 10 to go Lol ?.it’s a taco ? that melts in your mouth. We have to support more businesses like sierra guisados, if she keeps doing what she does. She’ll have my support no doubt about it. Congratulations.“
“First time in southern California ( landed in LAX) was driving down to San Diego for a job and really wanted to try some tacos. And found this golden gem on the way. Nice people, amazing tacos ( that remind you of Mexico) highly recommend to try it!“
“Best. Taco. Stand. Ever. Hands down the most delicious tacos in LA. Full of meat and a great price at $2 each! As well as taco Tuesday deals. Unheard of. The avocado salsa is the best. Nachos and quesadillas are great too. Come here 2-3 a week for months now. Everyone is super nice and they have a big, organized team that can handle a crowd. It’s consistently busy but we’re always in and out quick. Definitely recommend! ?⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️“
“The menudo was really good. My bf got a chicken quesadilla he said it was good as well. Parking is kind of hard to get but I think you can park in back of the canopy not sure though. Definitely going back again. The enchiladas smelled really yummy didn't get any we'll get some next time.“
“MÉXICO (Guerrero) ??Excerpt from Eat the World Los Angeles:While you are standing in line waiting for your chance to order this goat and lamb barbacoa, listen to the conversations of others around you, or if you do not speak Spanish start one yourself. It becomes clear that the vast majority of customers here live in nearby neighborhoods of South and Southeast Los Angeles but originally come from Guerrero. The food and adobo-rubbed Guerrero-style barbacoa they remember is best represented here under the large yellow tent. The stand has lived for over a decade, the tent was once white and much smaller, but now the current one becomes a sight that makes your heart speed up in anticipation of the upcoming meal. Barbacoa can be thrown on any menu, usually resulting in a plate of dry meat laid in front of you, but it takes someone talented and willing to put in the hard work of properly cleaning an animal and cooking it overnight to make the best. After finishing you can start to appreciate the origin stories of this food and the family that serves it. On the business card, a beautiful scene of Taxco shows the main cathedral and the mountains that surround the Northern Guerrero town. It is quite a bit closer to Mexico City than it is to the coastal Guerrero city of Acapulco, and shares a culture similar to the mountainous towns of nearby Estado de México, Morelos, and Puebla, places that have all seen quite a dramatic loss of families that have moved their lives north. It is an honor and a privilege to share meals with those that have come to Los Angeles, and the amazing yellow-tented food stand that fulfills their cravings from back home.“
“Delicious and authentic Nayarit style tacos de cochinito al horno. Nice chunks of delicious pork on a tortilla with a delicious mustard sauce that compliment the tacos very well. They taste just as good as ordering them at the plaza in Acaponeta. Definitely recommend it, and I love how the roasted pig sits on display as the chunks of meat are taken from its delicious body.“
“Friendly staff and amazing food quality. You could taste how fresh the seafood was! I was beyond happy with their service and their prices aren't bad compared to other mariscos restaurants I've been to with worse food quality. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants that homestyle mariscos flavor & experience.P.s. Cash Only , be prepared.“
“Came here because they accept debit, but this is our go to taco stand now. We got two mulitas, four tacos, one burrito, and one pambazo. Everything was delicious! Very friendly, nice peeps too. It's a taco truck, so you order and take your food. There's chairs to sit and wait for your order. Right in front of Numero Uno grocery store. I only took a picture of my food, not the rest because they weren't patient for the gram lol but yes, totally recommend this taco truck.“
“For a very small hidden place, this was a jewel of a find. Wanted something not too big for lunch. Had two cabeza mediano tacos. It was just perfection. Just like home. Looked up after finishing my tacos and the place was full of locals. Always trust the locals. Love supporting local small businesses! Bravo!!!!“
“Art is the best with pastramis around here.. I’ve been coming here since before he got the truck.. I was getting food here back when he had the food stand.. I highly recommend to give it a shot and multiple shots afterwards.. Art and his truck are awesome!!“
