I missed the chance to go from the last time I came by. Many other taco vendors also recommend this truck for goat birria tacos.We got some goat birria quesatacos, labio taco dorados, which were lips, asada vampiro, and of course, gotta get consome. Not many places have goat birria, and most of the time, they tend to be too dry. Those quesatacos were super tender, juicy, cheesy, and packed with tons of spices and flavors. Dipping in the beefy, hardy consome, game over. I've never seen beef lips before, so I gotta give a try. It got the texture of beef tongue, also quite delicious. “I have been *quite* delinquent at keeping up with converting review drafts to actual reviews - but I feel especially bad seeing this one un-posted still, given it was just in the local news last week, they're putting their popup on temporary-but-indefinite pause because it wasn't getting enough business... hopefully they do reopen, ideally in a proper space, because their bbq is *great*. I hadn't ever been to their now-closed official popup location, but after having heard how great they were for the previous year, I finally had a chance to try them over the summer, at the Beachwood anniversary event. I loved that I was able to buy meat in quarter-pound increments, so I could try two of my favorite bbq meats, brisket and pulled pork. The pulled pork was great; the brisket was probably the best brisket I've had from a bbq place in Long Beach (it's still not Franklin, but *nothing* is Franklin). I also tried their mac & cheese - they only had one size, for $8, but that size was *large*. The mac & cheese was also great. Seriously friendly people, too, so I really hope they succeed in their quest for a brick-and-mortar spot. (And that the quality is as good once they do, both so I don't have to give them a worse review later, and because I would like to have that brisket again! And because they're great people and they deserve to succeed, of course.)“

My two tacos were wrapped and kept warm in a foil package.When I got back, I realized they gave me chorizo and buche, and a lot of cilantro. I removed the cilantro, not a big deal. The chorizo, at least I think it was chorizo, wasn't too dry and it was flavorful. There were also chunks of fat (?) in it. The buche was salty...and tasted like buche. I liked their salsas and felt it complemented the meats well.Unfortunately I didn't get either of the meats I wanted to try. At $2.50 per taco, I guess I'll just have to go back to order them again.“

I tried al pastor and suadero. 2 small tortillas for each taco with a good portion of protein. Served on paper plates. I recommend both the al pastor and suadero equally.Also ordered a watermelon agua fresca. $2.50 for a small. About 10-12 oz. The agua fresca was delicious. I highly recommend you try it.3 employees were taking care of customers. No wait at all when I ordered. Quite a few customers came after me. Offer both eat there and take away.They have a table set up with plastic chairs. Easily fits 6 adults. Staff was efficient. Not friendly. Not unfriendly. Just fine. My tacos were loaded. I also got a pineapple fresca. I honestly think I loaded too much on my tacos and couldn't taste the meat as much. I got the pastor, chorizo, buche, and something else-it was sirloin steak. All of it's not bad but I liked the chorizo the most. There's maybe four other meats.
