“I just ate here for my birthday on Saturday. I have been to Belize and this food took me right back there. The owner Leslie, is from Belize and is very friendly and attentive, as his the staff. Phenomenal food, and large portions. Get the sampler platter for your appetizer, you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you are ever in Gardena, you should stop here. Gardena Cinema is a few blocks away, and is also fantastic. The restaurant closes at 7pm, and most shows start at 7:30, so it makes for the perfect evening.“

“My coworker recommended this restaurant to me the Church I attend was not too far from the Restaurant so I decided to try it out today when I got there they were not open I decided to wait because the reviews were good around 11:30 people started getting in line after the 10th person got in line I decided to get in line they open 12:00 sharp I was impressed by that the Line move swiftly I have some questions about the menu the security was very helpful and answered all my questions no matter how many times I kept calling him back because everything looks so good I could not make up my mind so I ordered 3 oxtails dinners, beef ribs dinner and jerk chicken dinner all where to go I took one oxtail dinner to my mother in Torrance it was still very hot. When I took it to her she loved it she could not stop talking about how good it was I live in Orange County by the time I got home it was still nice and warm the food was amazing One of the staff members and the security was nice enough to help me carry the food and the drinks to my car talk about above and beyond when it comes to great customer service this place ROCKS 👍🏽“

“Remember to try the soup. They make it fresh everyday, except on Sundays (no soup). This past Sunday I went for the soup since I have a cold. Found out there was none.
But, the hot steaming and freshly cooked small plate of curry goat did not disappoint. It came with rice and peas, fried ripe plantains, a festival and steamed cabbage. It did not disappoint. Yumm!“

“Atmosphere is good, service was ok, cashier not the friendliest but the server was nice. Not a fan that we dined in and our food was brought out in to-go packaging. Drinks came with our meals and there was no option of drinks at the register but then when we received our food they had 2 flavors of koolaid. Food was delicious we ordered it all salmon, jerk chicken, goat curry, oxtails and shirt ribs. Since I’m not a Mac n cheese person would’ve liked alternative options. Everyone enjoyed the food and new location“

“What's NOT to love about Little Belize Restaurant?! We got a warm welcome and a menu that made decisions difficult for all the variety of dishes we had never heard of. My husband decided for the appetizer tasting platter - it was a meal in itself and what a flavorful, utterly delicious one! For drinks, I asked for the pineapple ginger beer (a non-alcoholic soda) and was not disappointed. As to food, I had the stew chicken with a fantastic gravy, veggies, and the best rice and beans I've had in my life so far (do they have a secret, crisp ingedient?), topped with caramelized plantains. Our hostess was charming and fun; she even brought us some (free!) dessert to take along (we couldn't though, having no car and being headed for a concert). All in all it was like stepping into a different world that makes food taste like a warm hug and spells hospitality in capitals. If you're in Inglewood, have a meal there by all means! “It’s real deal jerk chicken! Perfectly marinated, seasoned and grilled Smokey flavor; crisp skin, tender and juicy. Escovich fish was also authentic: a whole fish freshly fried with tangy and spicy vinegar, onion and scotch bonnet sauce. The oxtails were a miss for me; a bit on the sweet side.“

“Excellent food at this small, stand-alone Belizean/Caribbean hybrid, colorfully painted and sitting at the corner of a South L.A. street corner. I ordered the fish fry (with red snapper), with the mac 'n cheese and an order of fry jack. I also ordered a side of oxtail, and a couple of Belizean panades. Everything was delicious!! No doubt, the cooks know what they're doing here. The fish was well-seasoned and perfectly fried. It went well with the piping hot fry jack. And, the mac 'n cheese was unusually tasty. Penne pasta was substituted for the conventional elbow macaroni, and the cheese sauce--while slightly on the thin side--was incredibly delicious! The oxtail was very rich and tasty, as well, fork tender and extremely flavorful. And, finally, I loved the panades. They resembled long and thin empanadas, and they were stuffed with flaky fish, and served with a side of pickled onions. So good! And, this restaurant is women-owned (and run), and is also a family affair--consisting of mother, daughter and even cousins running around in the back. I believe in supporting businesses like this--women-owned and hardworking, kind people serving their community with affordable prices and supremely delicious food!“

“Came here kinda randomly and I’m honestly glad I did. The jerk chicken had that perfect smoky spice, tender inside with just the right kick on the outside. The rice and peas were super flavorful and actually tasted like they were cooked with care, not just a side thrown on the plate. Portions were big, so I was full way before I even finished everything. The staff was friendly and had a chill attitude that made the place feel welcoming. It’s not a fancy spot at all, but the food definitely speaks for itself. I’d 100% come back again.“

“The service was great the gentleman name was Bryon he was very smart and on point. He was by himself but he had the right music playing and a smile on his face. My food was great the server suggested I try the j*** salmon with fried rice and cabbage excellent choice. He also mention Patties which I never had before wow they were good.
