“I stopped by El Cielo in Gardena and had a great experience. I got the enchiladas plate, with chicken inside with a side of rice and beans, and everything was flavorful and satisfying. It’s a solid spot for a delicious, no-fuss meal if you’re in the area! Definitely check it out. Awesome hole in the wall.“

“Genuinely the best pupusas I've had. They're awesome people (I speak terrible spanish but they put up with me), and their pupusas are divine.

Their chicharron pupusa and their pupusa loca are my go-to orders, and it never seizes to amaze me. They do an awesome job with the filling to masa ratio (LOTS of filling). 2 pupusas generally are enough for me, but I like to get 3+ and have leftovers.

Their curtido is good and their salsa is more like a tomato sauce than anything else, which is really nice for flavor cutting through the richness of the pupusas.

Please give them a whirl! They are great and I want to make sure they always have business to stay open.“

“We found this gem...just by walking the area as we were visiting from Indianapolis. Our Air BNB was just a few blocks away. The food was very good and we were seated very quickly. The food came out fast too. The service was good and restaurant was very clean. Prices were so reasonable.“

“My friend and I are gluten free and this was a great find today. I do want to note we are not celiac just allergy. I had a corn (regular) bean and cheese pupusa while she tried the rice masa pupusa with spinach, onions and cheese. We both really liked our hoices and the cabbage salad. We also got a cheese tamale - note these are not like Mexican tamales but a much softer texture. We also got an order of platanos. The owners were so friendly and got to chat and learned that Jorge opened the restaurant in 2006 so they have been around a very long time. Highly recommend and we will return.“

“My family was in the mood for Central American food and after a quick google search I found this small hole in the wall restaurant.Glad I came here the food was delicious. The pepperoni popusas were bomb and cheesy (a lot of places skimp out on the cheese not here) . The garnachas were also good an order gets you 8!!!. “What a hidden gem near the airport! The street tacos were absolutely excellent—fresh, flavorful, and loaded with meat, onions, and cilantro. The salsa was delicious, and everything tasted authentic and made with care. The service was fantastic, the prices were amazing, and the portions were generous. It’s getting harder to find places where you get great food, great service, and a great price, but this place has all three. Definitely a spot worth finding, and we will absolutely be back!“

“I have only been here once. I am only familiar with their pupusas. I recommend only one as they are large size. I would stick to the mixta, or ruevelta however they advertise it. That is simply a pupusa with chicaron, frijol y queso. (Fried pork, bean and cheese) And lastly you can't beat the price! It's a meal deal for sure! Enjoy!!“

“The lady knows my voice! She automatically says Hola Josefina! Yesterday, she made me a lupus with cheese and CALABASITAS! She makes tamales. The chicken ones are so good. I bought a dozen at 10 am. took them home by 300pm they were gone. She takes orders ANYTIME and makes hundreds of them for CHRISTMAS! I love her!“

The fried plantains with black beans and eggs with fresh tortillas I feel we're meant for pupusas which works for me. CASH ONLY. Street parking only with locals as most customers like myself. Hole in the wall special!! And know the homeless try to come in and beg for money which is interesting because the paying customers just ignore. Provecho.“

He decided to try it. I placed an order online through Grub Hub for pickup. He waited the 20 minutes for it to be ready. Only to show up and find out they don't do online orders. Well, whatever, I will order in person, but it turns out that they only accept cash......they must have card services...there are people who use cards, because we don't use cash on the streets,,They need that service“
