The food is very good, they serve both Salvadoran and Mexican food. I have only tasted the Salvadoran food, pupusas, sopa de pata, traditional breakfast etc. the dining area is spacious and will accommodate a large family. If you want authentic tasting pupusas or Salvadoran food this would be the place to eat.

There is plenty of onsite parking for both the restaurant and the other business.“

“All good but I went for some chicharron with cheese and what I disliked is that... 1-they have a lot of fat 2- they leave the pupusas on the grill for a long time which makes them toast, and number 3- I think they put a lot of salt or a lot of seasoning to the pork rinds since I tried them and I did like them but it did feel like they had a lot of salt and then since it has cheese, the cheese has salt I mean you should look at that in the pork rinds with cheese ??“

“This place is amazing, the food is delicious, and the portions are so big that you can honestly share a plate. I cannot emphasize how delicious the food is. The meat is tender and juicy, the salvadoran plate felt authentic, it had that taste that is so missing here in US. Even the Peruvian plate was delicious and better than Inka Mama's. The pepperoni popusas were bomb and cheesy (a lot of places skimp out on the cheese not here) . The garnachas were also good an order gets you 8!!!. The salsa was delicious, and everything tasted authentic and made with care. The service was fantastic, the prices were amazing, and the portions were generous. “Perfect Salvadoran experience. If you have gone to Salvadoran restaurants, you know most are modest in the way they look inside, and this is no exception. Several small to medium tables in a single room. Most of the food is prepared when you order it so be prepared for a little wait. We had pupusas and an order of yuca con chicharrón. The revuelta and queso con loroco were perfect as well as the curtido and salsa de tomate. Two pupusas and I was stuffed!

Now, they do offer filling combinations that I had never seen anywhere else (I've been eating pupusas for over 50 years). I decided to try the shrimp pupusa. A couple of bites and I knew that was a mistake and I would never be ordering that again. It's just not a taste I expect in a pupusa, and nothing improved it. This is NOT a deal breaker of going to eat there. Just know that if you select from this extended menu, these are not typical of true Salvadoran pupusas.

No alcohol/alcoholic beverages served. So if you want a beer, get the food as takeout.

This is a definite must try if you are in the area.“

“I have only been here once. I am only familiar with their pupusas. I recommend only one as they are large size. I would stick to the mixta, or ruevelta however they advertise it. That is simply a pupusa with chicaron, frijol y queso. (Fried pork, bean and cheese) And lastly you can't beat the price! It's a meal deal for sure! Enjoy!!“

They’re flavorful and there is no lack of salt for sure however, on many occasions, especially the weekend sometimes they put music on or a little band is playing, but it is obnoxiously loud I can’t stand being there and I love music. I can’t even have a conversation, but I guess if that’s your thing, this is why I never sit down and eat there there’s no in between like where there’s some nice music and you can sit and talk. It’s like you’re at the club, but nobody’s dancing.“

“This past Saturday, I went there. I ordered their guanabana water and it was delicious and refreshing. I have eaten there several times and I have never gotten sick. Their food is tasty. Be willing to spend $25.00 per person. Their waters are sold for $7.00 and are quite large. Dishes vary between $15.00 and $25.00. they prepare pupusas, guaraches, sopes, fresh, right out of the grill. And they have bathroom service, which is difficult to find in the Fashion District. You will not leave disappointed. 🍀“
