I loved that when I told the Ladies in the kitchen that the soup was for a family member that was hospitalized that was craving soup the ladies packed the soup perfectly as if it would be her own relative. The aroma coming out of that kitchen inside was amazing she was making pork chicharrón. I will most definitely return to enjoy a sit down dinner. The pupusas were good. I only ate 2 pupusas that cost $8.92 for both, and it got me full. The 2 hot atol de elote that cost $10.30 for both had a very good taste to it. The ensalada de fruta drink that cost $6.23 was great, too. The plátanos fritos con frijol y crema cost $9.76 were delicious. Everything was good. The private restrooms are clean. We had the pastelitos de carne which were great, especially with the pickled cabbage heaped on the plate. The fried plantains were INCREDIBLE. So crispy and sweet, served with crema and beans of course. My husband got the pupusa plate (holy crispy cheese edges in the very best way). But my absolute favorite was my dish, pollo con crema. “What a delicious spot. The restaurant appeared clean with a few tables for sit down. I ordered pupusas de chicharrón and queso. I loved the texture of the crunchy pupusa from being slightly fried. It was a nice and light, delicate crunch. The cheese and chicharrón filling was flavorful. Putting tomato salsa and curtido on top was great too. I love picked cabbage curtido!! Also got 2 chicken tamales. These are made with slices of potato, two different chile peppers and chicken. They were melty tender (not spicy!) I had their fried plantain, beans and sour cream. The fried bananas were perfectly soft and sweet! Oh, I loved them! To drink, I ordered their home made horchata. That was really impressive. I think they toasted some kind of nut, maybe almonds and blended that together with the rice. It was very tasty, and not too sweet! Very nicely balanced flavors and seasoning. And more pupusas de arroz ( instead of corn we choose rice).By the way, our Server Gladis was super nice friendly and professional. “This is another review of a popup that I tried as a result of them having been at Trademark Brewing a couple months ago (being one of my favorite local breweries, and a great place to pair beer with all manner of types of food, as their food vendor changes daily.) I will note, the pupusas themselves (that is, the exterior corn-dough part) were a little dry compared to my favorite ones (at our local farmers market), but the pork pupusa had a lot of pork in it, and the pork was pretty tasty, pulled pork-style pork, and not too salty (I feel like that's a fairly common problem with meat pupusas). Tons of great, melty cheese, too. Couldn't really taste the loroco in the loroco pupusa though, mostly just tasted like cheese, so if they were back in the future, I'd definitely go for two meat ones. More flavorful curtido than my favorite farmers market vendor, too (and I like their curtido a lot - Vchos' was even better, though.) Also loved that, for only a quarter more pupusa, you can also add jalapenos, which if you like peppers, I would solidly recommend. I also added a side of plantains for $1.50, which was the perfect amount to accompany the pupusas. Great plantains, too. So, overall, I'd say, while they could've been a little less dry, I *would* definitely pay $11 for that meal again ($9 for two pupusas + adding jalapenos to both + plantains) if I saw them at Trademark again.“

“Reyna sure knows how to make an excellent pupusa. Of all the items we ordered for takeout/delivery, these were by far the star of the show. We also ordered some tacos and her steak tacos are pretty tasty as well! The chicken in the chicken tacos was on the dryer side, but that didn't stop us from devouring our meal. “This is my go-to for local/East LA pupusas. The bean and cheese (frijol y queso) are my favorite! The cheese in general is so gooey delicious. They also have other Salvadoran dishes, but I currently stick with the pupusas and will be more adventurous when I bring one of my Salvadoran friends to get their seal of approval for the rest. I usually take my food to go and when I get home, everything stays piping hot. They are generous with the red salsa and curtido. Also, great, friendly staff! Plus, a convenient parking lot. You can get table service or call ahead for your orders. Highly recommend when you're craving a pupusa!“
“One of the best local pupusa places in Lynwood/South Gate area. Their pupusas are huge and full of cheese that pulls out when you break the pupusas. Their curtido is very flavorful. They also serve a delicious Carne Guizada with rice, beans, salad, and had made delicious fat tortillas. One more item that my wife and I like to order and now our son loves too is their sopa de pollo that comes with a lot of vegetables, two pieces of chicken and most impotently, they serve it with little coditos pasta inside. it brings the sopa to another level especially when you are sick or it's just a sopa kind of weather.
