“Best pupusas ever. I’ve also tried their sopa de gallina, pan con pollo and yuca con chícharron which have all been excellent. Our go to is the pupusas revueltas grandes which will be a little bigger, have more filling and are so cheesy! We accompany our pupusas with the plate of Platanos con frijol y queso and a large ensalada drink, hits the spot every time. Everything is made to order so you might wait a while but it’s definitely worth it.“

“My new fave obsession: Mangonadas from Espiguita De Oro! Sooo good and so unique. I admit I was slightly intimidated to go in because I don’t speak/read Spanish & worried I would know what was what. But the staff answered all my questions—super friendly. I also ordered a Philly cheesesteak empanada & a bbq pulled pork empanada. They were HUGE & delicious. But I’m telling you, you’ve got to try a mangonada!“

“This place is amazing, the food is delicious, and the portions are so big that you can honestly share a plate. I cannot emphasize how delicious the food is. The meat is tender and juicy, the salvadoran plate felt authentic, it had that taste that is so missing here in US. Even the Peruvian plate was delicious and better than Inka Mama's. I would definitely recommend eating here.“

The pepperoni popusas were bomb and cheesy (a lot of places skimp out on the cheese not here) . The garnachas were also good an order gets you 8!!!. “Biggest thing to know is that is cash only. The place is very compact, but homey.

“Perfect Salvadoran experience. If you have gone to Salvadoran restaurants, you know most are modest in the way they look inside, and this is no exception. Several small to medium tables in a single room. Most of the food is prepared when you order it so be prepared for a little wait. We had pupusas and an order of yuca con chicharrón. The revuelta and queso con loroco were perfect as well as the curtido and salsa de tomate. Two pupusas and I was stuffed!

Now, they do offer filling combinations that I had never seen anywhere else (I've been eating pupusas for over 50 years). I decided to try the shrimp pupusa. A couple of bites and I knew that was a mistake and I would never be ordering that again. It's just not a taste I expect in a pupusa, and nothing improved it. This is NOT a deal breaker of going to eat there. Just know that if you select from this extended menu, these are not typical of true Salvadoran pupusas.

No alcohol/alcoholic beverages served. So if you want a beer, get the food as takeout.

This is a definite must try if you are in the area.“

I was a little worried at first because they took a little long but wow when my plate got to me it was piping hot. Portion were big and food was delicious. Definitely surprised on how good it was. I will be coming again. Pupusas were fire too.“

“I have only been here once. I am only familiar with their pupusas. I recommend only one as they are large size. I would stick to the mixta, or ruevelta however they advertise it. That is simply a pupusa with chicaron, frijol y queso. (Fried pork, bean and cheese) And lastly you can't beat the price! It's a meal deal for sure! Enjoy!!“

“I love this little but great restaurant, pupusas and seafood are delicious in general al dishes they serve are rich in flavors, I saw many people complained about the old lady the owner,That depends on how the customers treat each other or how they spoke to her. Both she and the people who work with her are very kind and helpful. I have known that restaurant forever and I still like the food like the first time I went to eat there.“

“The lady knows my voice! She automatically says Hola Josefina! Yesterday, she made me a lupus with cheese and CALABASITAS! She makes tamales. The chicken ones are so good. “Came here for the breakfast special that comes with 2 pancakes, eggs, sausage and hash-browns.
The hash-browns were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Pancakes were super yummy. The bean and cheese pupusa was delicious as well. Everything was super yummy and I can’t wait to come back.“
