If you’re looking for authentic Japanese traditional sweets in Gardena, Chikara Mochi is a must-visit! Their yaki dango (similar to mitarashi dango) is absolutely delicious—soft, chewy, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet.
They also have a beautiful selection of wagashi and mochi that are almost too cute to eat. Everything is colorful, photogenic, and clearly made with care.

The most delicious and beautiful mochi I've ever eaten. Red bean, white bean, you can't go wrong. Go early, they sell out often. CASH ONLY!
