“This place used to be 24 hours now they close at 2am. The Phó is always good but now they skimp out on the meat and they raised to prices. Other than that it's a great place to eat Phó late night and does get pretty busy most nights. “Flavor is good, they use a lot of garlic. Amount was enough but not for big appetites. Price is in average of Panda Express.Food was barely warm , and when is raining you just want your food hot. Service was good, they do not ask for tip, that is voluntary. Dining room is ok, chairs are for fast people, do not try to stay more than 15 min or pay your rent. I’ll be back but I’ll ask the waitress to please tell people staff be sure my delicious food is hot and healthy. “You know a spot is good when the only menu displayed has faded photos of various dishes with no descriptions or dish titles. Only the real ones know. Every time I come here, I meet a local who’s been coming here since the 80s or 90s and it is so comforting to know that a place like this exists. “The place might be a little hard to find, as it is a little hole in the wall, but it's definitely worth going! There is the option of getting Poke or ordering food off their menu. They have a good amount of options of ramen, sushi and sides. There was even a choice of seafood ramen that resembles 7 mares (A Mexican seafood soup). For the ramen, they had mild and spicy options, and the mild had a bit of a kick to it. We got the chicken ramen, and the vegetable options were interesting, haha. Brocoli was boiled just until it was soft and still green. The carrot was also soft but had a crunch. The egg was boiled, but it wasn't seasoned with soy sauce (still delicious). Overall, it tasted like a home cooked meal. We also got got two rolls, the Baked Salmon roll and Fried California Roll. They were served with spicy mayo and eel sauce (most of the rolls are served with it). We also got takoyaki (octopus balls). All of the food was served in about 10 minutes, and straight off the pot! You can see the steam coming off the ramen. The lady who took our order was quick and efficient and she made our Thai tea in less than 30 seconds. All of our food was about 70 dollars, most of the items are between 10 and 20 dollars, and I noticed their menu prices are different online than their menu inside. It's also much more casual than it seems. I'd definitely come back in the future when I'm craving Mexican fusion.Vegetarian options: There was an All-Vegie Ramen that looked delicious, and a couple of rolls and poke options without any meat.Parking: There is a parking lot right next to the building, and there were plenty of parking spaces. However, the parking spaces were pretty compact, so even if you park straight the lines will probably be touching your wheels.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs from the parking to the sidewalk to the building. And the space to walk up to the door is fairly wide. Although, you might need some help with someone holding open the door for you because it felt a little heavy.“
“I had the shrimp and pineapple fried rice. 5 stars for the portions. 4 stars for the food. The shrimp was pretty bland but the rice was good. Orange chicken was delicious. We all had a decent amount of leftovers because the portion sizes were large. Prices were relatively decent. The shrimp fried rice was $13 ish for a large portion.“
“I finally came here on Wednesday this week and I am hooked. Been back 3 times this week already. The cumin soup first and second time having was smooth and clear enough to enjoy the entire thing. However I will say the people working Saturday afternoon shifts made the soup this time around way too oily, couldn’t even enjoy the soup. I think the staff should know the standard in quality and have a consistency throughout -otherwise it’ll be hit or miss just with the consistency of the soup. The pricing for an airport location was astoundingly perfect for an extremely generous portion size. At first glance, I was a bit skeptical about the food. The food was absolutely and amazingly delicious, but above the customer service was nothing short of spectacular. “I have been ordering at Umami Express for a while now and it is such a life saver for busy weekdays. I am trying to lose weight and their food is so filling but guilt free - saved me from ordering unhealthy fast food. My fave so far is the chicken bowl, I add chestnuts and cucumbers. The texture is so good and the lemon garlic sauce is good as well. I did try the spicy sauce on time and it is not for me. One improvement I guess I would ask is if there is a way that the calories are stated in the website when I do my online order? I have never been in the restaurant, so I cannot tell for sure if they have it there. With my need to be more calorie conscious that will be a fantastic help. :-)“
“Honda is a very solid Japanese dining experience. Nothing I've had there is particularly exceptional, but the food is always reliably tasty and fresh. My wife and I usually order the dinner combinations which include miso soup and salad. The portions are good and I especially recommend the beef teriyaki and sashimi combo.“
“So I am obsessed with teriyaki and you must know that I loved the Long Beach location. When they closed it down, I was sad and distraught on where to go now. When I found out they were opening up a new location not to far from me, I was filled with pure joy. We were in the area contemplating what to eat. First thing that came ot my mind was, of course, teriyaki. So we decided to make a stop. Like at any other location, the food was delicious. I ordered the chicken bowl with fries. Their fries are one of my faves because they season them with perfection. The new location was very clean and like always, the staff was amazing. They made our food fast and even though it was a Friday night, we were services quickly. The cooks definitely hustle back there in the kitchen. So if you are in the area maybe after a day of shopping and want a quick bite, I suggest this place because you can't go wrong and PLUS the food is delicious.“

Mostly they have variations on chicken and rice plates, so you may want to plan on eating all vegetables the next day to make up for the carbs and meat, but the chicken, rice, and sauces are all *really* good.“

“Food was decent here. I got the Dumpling combo which let me have 4 of each of their Dumpling flavors. I was hoping for more flavor. Nothing spectacular here, but still an okay meal if you like light flavor. They had multiple sauces that were also light on the flavor. I may need to try their Potstickers to see if having it fried makes a flavor difference. The Hot and Sour Soup had lots of ingredients and they didn't skimp on them. Like the dumplings, there wasn't as much flavor here as I'd expect. Both items had a good amount of food for the serving. Parking is easy as it is located on the non-busy side of a shopping complex. Service was mediocre. When I was asking about their options, the servers weren't really making it seem like they believed in their own product. There was a subtle indifference in my interaction. The restaurant was clean with lots of seating. Not sure if I would go back for what I ordered, but I may still give those Potstickers a try.“
