“This is probably the most popular place to get your lunch at from students and faculty at El Camino College. Every meeting I'm at around lunch time I see someone eating from Mr. H. I really love their spamasubi and their miso soup. It reminds me of my high school days when people would sell spamasubi from their backpacks. The place has a few tables and chairs to sit on if you are looking to dine in or wait for your food. Cool thing about their service too is they have a buzzer for when your food is ready. Sometimes it takes a little long to get the food to come out but it's always hot and ready to eat when they do.“
“The woman who attended me was amazing!! I really loved the strawberry milk and the pork belly was very delicious. I was just a little disappointed in the egg since it was warm on the outside but really cold in the inside which made me lose my appetite. The noodles also tasted too much like eggs in which I don’t really enjoy. The soup was really good though and again the pork belly tastes amazing!!“
“Parking is really easy even on weekends. The restaurant is spacious and the staff is friendly. The menu has lots of different food options. This place is great to hang out with friends and family to catch up or meet up. Our party had a baby, they have high chairs and staff were very accommodating, we did not feel like a nuisance while dining here. When the baby was rowdy and there was a lobby area just a short walk away to calm the baby down with various Japanese decor.“
“I love the ramen at Jidaya, especially their tonkotsu - it’s thick, rich and tasty. They’re very consistent, too. But to be honest, I thought about giving it 2 star so it doesn’t get too busy but post pandemic, everyone restaurant could use the business.“
“This is an old Japanese soba restaurant. I had a good time visiting. Both for entertaining and personally. The staff at the store are Japanese, but of course their English is no problem. I used it yesterday for the first time in a while, and 80% of the customers were non-Japanese. Soba is becoming more and more recognized. I love the soba noodles, but I also love the ginger-yaki set meal. I love the spaghetti salad that comes with it. It's not on the menu, but it comes out when you order.“
“For the ultimate Korean-Chinese dining experience in South Bay, look no further. Dive into authentic Jja Jang Myeon and Jjam Ppong at this must-visit establishment. Whether you're new to Korean cuisine or a seasoned foodie, it's the perfect starting point. Don't miss out on trying the Gan Jja Jang--it's a rare find with its smoky wok flavor, generous portions of diced onions and squash, and a less oily consistency compared to traditional Jja Jang Myeon. Highly recommended!“
“I had lunch at this restaurant with my friend when we were visiting LA, and I'm so glad we stumbled across it! The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was so friendly. One of the best Thai restaurants I've been to, and definitely somewhere I'll be visiting again the next time I'm in town!“
“The duck is incredible!!! Period! My food was so good that I totally forgot to take a picture of my plate before I started eating ? I loved it and will go back! Wrist check, I am wearing the Seiko Presage Prestige SARX045 JDM release on the Hirsch Liberty leather strap.“
“Such a great place to go and eat for comfort Japanese foods! Fukagawa has a big menu with so many items to choose from but I went with the special fish combo with salmon and cold soba. Along with the salmon and cold soba, it came with 4 pieces of Cali roll, a salad, miso soup and bowl of rice. Portion size was decent and they all tasted so good! Service was great and the servers were super nice! We also ordered the recommended mochi dessert. It was good but nothing special. I don't think we would order it again. I would love to come back and try other foods on their menu!“
“Went there for my first time last night around opening time, very friendly customer service experience. I enjoyed my 'Fire Bowl Ramen' (Intermediate / 2nd Spice level) so much that I drank most of the broth. The general atmosphere felt like I was in Japan again, it may not be everyone's liking, but I personally enjoy dimly lit ambiance for a dinner setting.“
“Came here because of an IG video. Michelin ramen in a supermarket? Ok I’ll make the drive to see what the buzz is all about. Upon further research, their other location is in the Michelin guide. It’s still clearly advertised as so at this location. But nonetheless, I did enjoy their tsukemen ramen. The broth was rich and hearty. Their noodles and chashu were extra thick and different from other tsukemen ramen I’ve tried previously. I could tell quality ingredients went into making this ramen. Was it worth the drive? Probably not but I had a great time at the Japanese market and left with an inflatable Pocky stick!“
“A delicious selection of everything you’ve come to love from Shin-Sen-Gumi, starting with amazing ramen with limitless option’s and toppings, they also have delicious curry with great croquet options and also Yakitori options, the sets are amazing and very affordable. Make sure to try the spicy ramen or adding the spice bomb to your ramen.“
“Jjamppong Jajangmyeon was all delicious^^The owner was also very friendly, so I was able to have a comfortable and enjoyable meal. The table is large, so it would be nice to come with family or have a company dinner.I’ll stop by again next time!“
“The wings and tenders were delicious! I tried lemon pepper, Jamaican jerk, and spicy that flavors and they were all good. There was a really good deal of 19.99 for 6 wings, 6 boneless wings, 2 tenders, and large fries. The fries themselves were a little plain but not bad. Thankfully the dipping sauces were good. I recommend the honey mustard.“
“Food was decent here. I got the Dumpling combo which let me have 4 of each of their Dumpling flavors. I was hoping for more flavor. Nothing spectacular here, but still an okay meal if you like light flavor. They had multiple sauces that were also light on the flavor. I may need to try their Potstickers to see if having it fried makes a flavor difference. The Hot and Sour Soup had lots of ingredients and they didn't skimp on them. Like the dumplings, there wasn't as much flavor here as I'd expect. Both items had a good amount of food for the serving. Parking is easy as it is located on the non-busy side of a shopping complex. Service was mediocre. When I was asking about their options, the servers weren't really making it seem like they believed in their own product. There was a subtle indifference in my interaction. The restaurant was clean with lots of seating. Not sure if I would go back for what I ordered, but I may still give those Potstickers a try.“
“Good energies, Fav spot to eat a entree or appetizers & relax with good company!Vegetarian options: Good option of veggies to eat boiled or grilledKid-friendliness: Every time I bring my baby they always pull up a clean high baby chair! & the waiters always refill our drinks.“
“Feels like a modern trendy hip pho spot that totally passes the vibe check. We were greeted as we came in even during the busy dinner time.Sat at one of the booths with space to have a stroller next to us without being in the way for others. The staff are super friendly with awesome ink tats and just super chill.I ordered the #4 pho with streak and brisket which was yummy, next time I will for sure get a large. We got 2 orders of the #30 the minced pork and veggies egg rolls which were delicious and gone as quickly as they came.Huge dinning area with a modern rustic open kitchen décor.Needed to stay up so I got me a Vietnamese coffee which was on point. Can’t wait to come back to try other things off the menu.Parking: Big parking lotKid-friendliness: Able to fit a stroller next to our table“
