“I shall Thai my best, to find something good for lunch

Occupying the former location of Hanako, we've dined at the second previous tenant of this address, prior to Hanako. I've been meaning to come by Pudtarn Thai Cuisine because I'm a huge fan of Thai food, and Lunch Specials are an affordable option. This day seemed just the moment to try another local Thai restaurant for takeout.

Lunch Special Pad Thai-
Choice of protein (beef + $1, shrimp + $2), with rice, salad & egg roll. Oh, how have I missed pad Thai. Pudtarn's version hit the spot for my Thai food fix. Had the perfect amount of sour to sweet. Portions were generous, too.

Chicken satay-
Five tender, succulent sticks of chicken, served with creamy peanut sauce. Great accompaniment to the noodles, the pieces of chicken were delicious, especially when smothered in the sauce.

Service was good. A good amount of seating inside, the wait for takeout wasn't too long, since I was the first customer of the day. Parking can be somewhat difficult to come by, as some spaces are designated for the business in front of them. Hard to find on it's own, Pudtarn Thai Cuisine is located west of the car wash on the corner of Bloomfield & Centralia.

Pudtarn Thai Cuisine is a solid Thai eatery, and I'm definitely looking forward to visiting, again, in the near future. Their lunch specials are affordable, and provide an ample amount of food. Pudtarn Thai Cuisine has earned their spot in my food rotation list.“

“Tonkotsu ramen was good! The broth was tasty and the chashu wasn’t over cooked. The fried calamari was also good. Will order again!“

“Having forgotten to request hot sauce for my meal, I revisited the cashier to make the request, but found the employee busy on TikTok. She handed me two packets of hot sauce, but when I asked for an additional one, she was too preoccupied with her phone to accommodate my request.“

“Seriously, the Cambodian Dirt are the best wings I have ever had in my life, and I’m 58 years old and love wings. The Dirty Elvis is a close second and they need to have wet naps available even though you end up licking your fingers. The noodles and fried rice are tasty, too. The Coca-Cola is balanced perfectly. I’d put them up against McDonald’s. But don’t sleep on the Chicken Wings. They are really the best!“

“Genuine Japanese Ramen with rich Miso taste. No other ramen shops serve this taste and only one in SoCal. It’s worth to spend your time to go to this place if you are Ramen Lover! Now they start serving Shio-Ramen (Clear Salt base soup) with Truffle oil flavor. This one is very good, too!“

“The food is really good and cheap, plus its a really good portion of it. The atmosphere is pretty welcoming and feels good to be there. The most remarkable thing its the service, it is a really nice and good service in every way, best service I've had so far and will definitely go back.“

“Went for my birthday and i am more than pleased. The food, service and resturant was all amazing. There were options for all people who may have diet restrictions. My 7 year old had a great time with the chicken wings and the octopus and shrimp sushi. The ramen was super good and the eel was amazing have 0 complaints and i will be returning here very soon as often as i can!“

Standard dishes like Pad See Ew and Pad Thai were next level compared to other Thai places in taste and freshness. So if the easy dishes are that good - rest of the food must be incredible. “The food was delicious! My friend recommended it and we decided to eat there for lunch. Our refreshments were served in a cute mason jar. We shared chicken egg rolls for an appetizer. My friend ordered tom yum soup with shrimp and I got Thai Boat Noodle. I am definitely going to eat there again and bring my family.“

“Got the combination Pho and I got to say it is very tasty and this is coming from someone who likes Kathiev (Cambodian Pho). This is my number 1 go to for Vietnamese Pho the originals of this creation. I got myself a large bowl, the broth is light and savory tasting not too strong and the portions are generous. Remember to taste the broth first taste the hard work they put into it before you remix it. their chili oil is not spicy I would like for them to get a more spicy chili oil but besides all that yall should most definitely come here ! 💯“

“Consistent food quality and portions. Clean and the tables have enough space to order multiple things (unlike Yard House). I live near here so I walk and for that reason I know the parking situation is not the restaurants fault. It's very difficult to find parking so I recommend carpooling. The broths have plenty of flavor, the meat is not thin. I recommend for parties up to 4 since the restaurant usually has people dining in. Overall I hope this restaurant survives the economy since it's worth wanting a restaurant experience.“

“Mhat Korean Restaurant may be a small spot, but it delivers authentic Korean flavors and a really satisfying meal.

We ordered the Dak Galbi (Stir-fried Spicy Chicken) with a side of mozzarella cheese, along with an order of fried dumplings. The dak galbi was packed with flavor, and we appreciated being able to adjust the spice level to something a little milder. Adding the mozzarella was definitely the right call, it melted into the spicy chicken, making the dish even richer and creamier while balancing the heat beautifully. The fried dumplings were crispy, flavorful, and made a great side.

The best part of the meal was saving room for the fried rice at the end. They cooked it right in the leftover dak galbi sauce, soaking up all of the rich, spicy flavors. It’s definitely the way to finish the meal and something I highly recommend ordering.

The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, but the food is authentic, the portions are satisfying, and everything came together for a great dining experience. If you’re craving dak galbi, this place is well worth checking out.“

“The food is fabulous every time I try to call in an order. Nobody wants to pick up when I go to pick up the order. They don't recognize females as much as they recognize. Men.
For example, I'm standing there 15 minutes. Waiting for the lady to ask me what I'm there for and she didn't, so I sat down to wait. A man came in and she instantly said, are you here for pick up or to eat?“

I've even seen some family that brought children, with excitement for the food here and kids can be picky. “Hidden gem closed to home. Rare to find great tasting pho closed to home and big in portion.

Throughout the years many pho places give very little and tiny portions, but Tasty Pho reminds me of the good size pho bowls one used to get back in the day. Their prices are also very reasonable. Their stuff attentive to your needs.

The broken rice is very complete with the egg quiche, shrimp paste and radish carrot salad for a very good price. No need to go to Little Saigon anymore to eat great Vietnamese food“

“I love this place! Its low-key, it's clean and the lady that opens is just absolutely amazing! Been here a few times already. My goto is The Mul Naengmyun (Korean cold noodle with icey beef broth) . Absolutely delicious! The banchan varieties are tasty and they always as k to refill you up.. All the soups (hot) are very flavorful, hearty, and tasty!!!!!! Highly recommend. “Honestly this is a hidden gem. The flavor of it just tastes so authentic . I reccomend you order the tempura udon with a side of gyoza.
They also have sushi and teriyaki.
They are also available through Uber eats.
You should also call maybe 20 minutes ahead before you get there. That way you won't wait long for your or to eat there.“

Opted for the beef bone broth; however, there was a taste/smell to it, reminiscent of lamb (I only got beef), which was unexpected and a bit off-putting for me.

Service: Decent. While it isn't a standard sit-down restaurant, be prepared to be charged a gratuity for a party of six or more.

Ambiance: Casual. Pretty spacious and clean, including the ingredient + sauce bar.

Parking: Ample parking, but located in a relatively busy/ high-traffic plaza, so parking could take a minute, during peak hours.“

“The food never fails. The Pho is done right and we always order the 2 rib bone soup which is simmered for 4 hours. But with this visit, we tried the oxtail soup which was simmered for 10 hours. We always get the garlic fries. We also ordered crispy chicken in medium heat and chicken wings in the garlic parmesan flavor. All good and it didn’t disappoint at all. This place is open til 1:30am, this is our go to late night eats which doesn’t happen too often. This place is cute with a potted tree in the middle and decorated well. The evening we were there, we weren’t only ones eating, the mosquitos were eating us, the reason I gave the atmosphere a 4 star. Aside from that, this place is a go-to. There’s always a line.“

“I stopped by and tried a few dishes. What stuck out to me was how long the food took to prepare when the place was practically empty. I overheard another table also commenting on their wait time for food. Other than that, the food was delicious and the service was fine. The restaurant is pretty old and dingy but I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, I was just there for some food to treat my homesickness.

The salaw machu kreung and the prahok sauce was really good. The frog was alright tbh, I guess I’m not used to it being prepared in that way. (It was deep fried and then stir fried with the kreung paste and veggies I believe.) It was still good, just different. I’m glad I gave them a try, gotta support the Khmer businesses 🫶🏼🇰🇭“
