For Norwalk I think this is one of better Chinese food places. Easy parking also. If you are nearby and want Chinese food, definitely recommend. They do delivery too.“

“Best place to get authentic cheonggukjang in Orange County. I've been coming for what feels like over a decade and the taste never changed. The restaurant does have a strong fermented bean paste smell but if you want authentic cheonggukjang, it has to smell like this. If a place that sells cheonggukjang does not have a smell, it you will get tasteless 'watered down' version of the soup.

Plus is the smell is not as over powering as it used to be way back when but the taste is still the same.“

“I was told about this place by a friend who knows her stuff so I thought I'd give it a try. I recommend you use your navigation to find it because you'll drive right by it because it's in a small strip mall. Off the corner of Jersey and rosecrans. The restaurant is on the small side and I'm sure they get crowded with the dinner rush. I went for the lunch special served Monday to Saturday from 11am to 3 pm. I chose the Kung Pao Chicken, that comes with the daily soup,egg roll,fried rice and a fortune cookie which is alot for $11.95. They chop up their red pepper into pieces, so it has a kick ! The portions were large enough to make two meals which is a plus. Definitely will be back to try other options on the menu. Especially the hot soups which look amazing. They are closed on Tuesday ,so I had to wait an extra day. A thumbs up to whomever designed their menu, easy to decide what to order and prices displayed clearly 😀.“

The staff and service was incredible! Big shout out to Crystal** our server and John the owner for making us feel extremely welcomed and very well fed.

My personal fave was the I LOVE JASMINE roll named after the owner's wife and the Daniel San roll named after the owner's son!

“What a perfect hole in the wall Sushi spot. I wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of Disney. Narrowed it down to Hana out of 50 sushi restaurants. How this restaurant only has a 4.5 rating is besides me. Absolutely incredible service and food. FREE MISO SOUP!!! Yes, you read that correctly. They also have ACE if you are a big eater. There is a small alcohol serving too. The location has outdoor seating, but I didn't see anyone using it. I ordered a regular Tuna roll as part of dinner, and it came with the rice on the out. It was perfectly fresh and delicious. I asked if the Chef can do Tuna Maki as off the menu, and he pulled through! I cant say enough good things. 5 Stars all the way. I hope I can return.
Tip: Parking is limited.

Standard dishes like Pad See Ew and Pad Thai were next level compared to other Thai places in taste and freshness. So if the easy dishes are that good - rest of the food must be incredible. Occupying the former location of Hanako, we've dined at the second previous tenant of this address, prior to Hanako. I've been meaning to come by Pudtarn Thai Cuisine because I'm a huge fan of Thai food, and Lunch Specials are an affordable option. This day seemed just the moment to try another local Thai restaurant for takeout.

Lunch Special Pad Thai-
Choice of protein (beef + $1, shrimp + $2), with rice, salad & egg roll. Oh, how have I missed pad Thai. Pudtarn's version hit the spot for my Thai food fix. Had the perfect amount of sour to sweet. Portions were generous, too.

Chicken satay-
Five tender, succulent sticks of chicken, served with creamy peanut sauce. Great accompaniment to the noodles, the pieces of chicken were delicious, especially when smothered in the sauce.

Service was good. A good amount of seating inside, the wait for takeout wasn't too long, since I was the first customer of the day. Parking can be somewhat difficult to come by, as some spaces are designated for the business in front of them. Hard to find on it's own, Pudtarn Thai Cuisine is located west of the car wash on the corner of Bloomfield & Centralia.

Pudtarn Thai Cuisine is a solid Thai eatery, and I'm definitely looking forward to visiting, again, in the near future. Their lunch specials are affordable, and provide an ample amount of food. Pudtarn Thai Cuisine has earned their spot in my food rotation list.“

“They say you need to die to get to heaven, but maybe heaven is the chicken pho at pho 881 in Long Beach. The egg rolls are the perfect width for a crispy exterior, but the exact length for a substantial amount of filling that doesn’t leave you needing more. The spring rolls were standard, the peanut sauce was good. The Thai tea was not too sweet, and had the perfect amount of ice. And then came the soup. The chicken had tender pieces of skin that melted in your mouth like butter. The creamy texture from the fat coupled perfectly with the sharp spice from the ginger dipping sauce. I’m not sure if the people who run this place accidentally made me on of the best meals of my life, or if that’s just standard practice here, but I am thoroughly impressed by the culinary level of pho 881. And also, the server was quite silly, very jolly, and kind. Just great.“

we called ahead made a reservation for 10 people and we were all seated quickly without any issues. The service was 10/10. The woman who took care of us was incredibly friendly and attentive.

The food was also 10/10. Most of our group ordered the brisket or beef pho, and everyone loved their meals. I ordered the garlic filet mignon with rice, and it was amazing. The portion was generous, and the steak was perfectly seasoned, tender, and juicy.

“I love this place! Its low-key, it's clean and the lady that opens is just absolutely amazing! Been here a few times already. My goto is The Mul Naengmyun (Korean cold noodle with icey beef broth) . “your wonton wraps were flexible and easy to shape. they hold together wonderfully when boiling, taste great and have a good mouth-feel. they are top notch. Imagine my disappointment when I tried to use your gyoza wraps; some too dry to use; many were stuck to the one next to it (NOT an easy peel). the combination of too dry and stuck-together made for a lot of torn wraps, necessitating that I patch them together using scraps of ones that didn't stay in one piece in order to finish making the gyoza. Such wildly different quality makes me wonder if I got unlucky with the gyoza wraps, or lucky with the wonton wraps.“

“Consistent food quality and portions. Clean and the tables have enough space to order multiple things (unlike Yard House). I live near here so I walk and for that reason I know the parking situation is not the restaurants fault. It's very difficult to find parking so I recommend carpooling. The broths have plenty of flavor, the meat is not thin. I recommend for parties up to 4 since the restaurant usually has people dining in. Overall I hope this restaurant survives the economy since it's worth wanting a restaurant experience.“

For example, I'm standing there 15 minutes. Waiting for the lady to ask me what I'm there for and she didn't, so I sat down to wait. A man came in and she instantly said, are you here for pick up or to eat?“

The broth is rich in flavor, not oily and so delicious! Obviously simmered for many hours with care.

Regardless of the bowl you choose, you will be pleasantly surprised with the quantity of meat, the quality, and the service.

All the spring rolls are delicious although my favorite is the sausage.

They are famous for the pork ribs sour kimchi stew so be sure to try it. The summer fish are came with 3 crickets and it was cooked to perfection and not too salty. This place is must try.

“Legit Chuncheon-style Dakgalbi.

When I go to Korea, I love eating dakgalbi. Specifically, Chuncheon-style, where the meat is cooked in a spicy sauce with vegetables and other items that you can often choose (e.g. rice cakes, ramen, udon noodles, cheese, etc). I've tried to find the best dakgalbi in Seoul, and I feel like I've only scratched the surface.

In the US, I've only had dakgalbi a few times, and before Mhat, I'd been consistently underwhelmed. But Mhat has changed what I think dakgalbi can be in the US. Mhat serves up a version that is excellent, much like the better spots that I've found in Seoul. I didn't get a cheese version, but then again, I'm not really into the Korean trend of putting cheese on everything, so things like dakgalbi and galbi jjim usually go without cheese.

In short, my favorite dakgalbi in the US so far.“

There was a significant wait, but the folks at the restaurant heard me and tried to make things work. Otherwise I was going to order a take out. So they get a plus for service. The food was good too. I really liked the different noodle options. Though the flavor was not as rich as I had thought they'd be. But it is still pretty ok.“

“Been in this plaza once before to get some Vietnamese pastries and saw this place.
Decided to check it out since they have Cantonese style dishes here as well.

The food here is really delicious in flavors. Better than what we had expected.
I ordered their Beef Chowfun with black bean sauce and garlic.
Wifey ordered their House Special Chow Mein, and daughter got their egg rolls with veggies to wrap them in.
Everything was super delicious and their egg rolls had a very unique flavor to them.

The beef chow fun and house special chowmein was so good!
The restaurant was clean, well organized, and the service was good.

The fish sauce / soy sauce bottles could use a little bit of love.
We shall be returning to try some other items on the menu. Their wonton noodle soup looks really good.“
