“My friend recommended this place and it definitely delivered! It’s a little hole in the wall with aunties coming up a storm of deliciousness. The place is cozy and has room for small out large groups.
They were so polite, kind and attentive. The food came out quickly and was stunning. We got shredded pork rolls that were good. The beef soup with yellow noodles was really good and delicious. Our absolute favorite was the lemon grass chicken. It was so flavorful and had a little kick to it. The rice was perfect and went well with the chicken. I can’t wait to get this again. I also got soy milk and it was absolutely lovely warmed. 10/10 experience!“

“Hungry Bird is new in town, and I’m lucky enough to live just a few blocks away. This was my first visit, and I loved it! Everything looked and tasted delicious. They have chicken, beef, seafood, and pork skewers, plus noodles and sushi rolls. I came for the skewers, and I’d definitely come back to try more.

“Had a yummy dinner with great service in a lovely setting. We love the hot and sour soup here and the lemon yuzu scallops are my absolute favorite! Love the beef rolls and the cauliflower dish too. Truffle xiao long bao are so fragrant and yummy! Everything is always delicious. The sticky rice drinks are so good too! One of my fav toppings anywhere! Always a delicious meal.“

“Pretty solid spot for a quick meal. Signature potato noodles were chewy with that numbing spicy broth, I kept fishing out the potato slices. Added a few fried skewers on the side, crunchy and salty, and they pack everything neatly for pickup, tbh that helps.“

“If you want authentic Burmese Food, go there. Not pricy, yummy food and warmly welcoming environment.
I really wanted Shan noodle with Tofu but mostly Burmese Restaurant only offered Shan Noodle, but this one has it. So I ordered Shan Tofu Noodle and it’s so fresh. Monhikha is good but texture is thick.
The place is hard to find as it’s really small inside. Waiting time for food is so long, for me, I waited for about 20 25 mins to get my food after already ordering. The lunch special deal is good one.“

Parking is super easy since it’s located in a huge plaza.

I got here around 11:00 AM and waited in line for about 20 minutes. The line was mostly filled with older people speaking Cantonese, which told me right away that this place is super authentic!

The Beef Chow Fun is super flavorful and comes in a huge portion.
Their $12.99 breakfast combo is also a great deal with a huge portion—though it's pretty much pure carbs! And the best part is they still let you order it even after the breakfast hours.

You also get free refills on the Hong Kong style milk tea, and you can even take it to go for free. The iced version is the best, especially in the summer!

Unlike a lot of other places where the food is good but the service is terrible, the staff here is incredibly welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend!“

“Savory Corner is the real deal. Free-range chicken is silky, tender, and full of flavor. Rice is fragrant and not greasy. Their beef stew noodle soup is also incredible — rich broth, melt-in-your-mouth beef.

Service is superb. The staff remembers us regulars and always surprises us with free herbal drinks. Makes you feel like family.

Can’t recommend this place enough. Always planning my next visit though we have to drive from West Hollywood. It was so addicting that I must try to eat there every weekend.

“Food is delicious and fragrant. Chili oil is authentic and actually has spice and taste, not that mild stuff other places have. The beef in the fried noodle dish is tender and delicious, the sauce is fragrant. Cats ear noodle did take a longer time to make, but it's all hand made. Can't complain.

My husband got the lamb organ soup and the broth is milky white. The soup is extremely clear tasting and not gamey. Hand pulled noodle texture is on point. Not too soft, chewy.

Speciality fried pork was great and had that authentic north west vinegar sauce and taste.

There was a super annoying customer last night and the staff handled the situation very well. My husband was annoyed for the staff. Props to the restaurant. 10/10.

If you're dining in for the first time:
-Staff does not speak English, do some research on Xian cuisine and checkout their menu beforehand so you understand what dishes to expect
-They accept cash
-Water is self service
-Staff is not intentionally being rude, there's a cultural difference between Chinese and western dining service
-They don't bring utensils out because they're already at your table
-If you have any type of food allergies or dietary restrictions it's up to YOU to figure it out and not the staff“

“Tried Vege Valley Restaurant recently and honestly it was a good surprise. I’m not even strictly vegetarian but the food was really flavorful and fresh. Ordered noodles and a veggie dish both were well cooked and not too oily, which I liked.
The place is simple perfect for a relaxed meal. Service was quick and staff were polite. Pricing also feels reasonable for the portion size.
Only small issue was parking, took a bit of time to find a spot. But overall definitely worth visiting if you want healthy and tasty veg food.“

We came in for dinner with a group and ordered one of their set menus for 6 people. It's honestly an incredible deal, it comes with a whole Peking duck and a bunch of great dishes, including the shrimp with vermicelli, beef in soup, broccoli, salad, sweet and sour pork ribs, and a 6-item appetizer platter. The food tasted fantastic, though the portion sizes for the set felt a little light for 6 fully grown adults. To make sure everyone was full, we added an order of their famous braised noodles with pork ribs, which absolutely hit the spot.

The service was highly impressive and completely matches the new elevated vibe of the restaurant. We had such a great experience that we’re actually coming back again next week for a birthday celebration. Highly recommend checking out their new look!“

“the restaurant is super clean. If you show up thinking you're going to order Orange chicken, Broccoli beef, kung pao chicken or any of that chinese fast food then this is not the place for you. BUT if you're looking for some delicious mouth watering dumplings cooked in various forms then you're at the CORRECT place. I brought my mom here and we tried the pork chive regular dumplings, the pan fried beef and cumin dumplings and the regular fried rice. All of it was delicious. Also they give you a complimentary bowl of egg drop corn soup. NOT a small bowl but a good size portion, it was GOOOOOD. “This spot is a local gem! Extremely delicious and authentic Indo food in our neighborhood. We tried the Kwe Tia’s Goreng which is similar to pad see ew and Perkedel which is like a potato fritter, but our favorite was the Nasi Bungkus, which was a sampling of different curries on top of rice paired with fried chicken. It was so delicious, and the sambals on the side were really spicy, which was a nice surprise! Ever since the Mandarin Noodle House in Monterey Park closed down, I’ve been searching for a decent beef noodle soup to scratch my itch and while I’ve found a few pretty good places in the SGV, Prince Dumpling has the beef noodle soup and so much more. Literally everything I’ve had on their menu is delicious. I can’t think of a single dish or appetizer I tried that didn’t blow me away. I’m so thankful I found this place and my family is too. “Was at Santa Anita Mall and it was dinner time. Had seen Marugame Udon many times, but had never tried it until today. Tried the new Bolongese Udon with a potato croquette and sweet potato tempura. Ambience is great and the wall artwork is fabulous. Noodles were fresh and bowl was warmed before plating. I ordered a large size and was not disappointed. Free toppings were nice: tempura flakes, wake, cilantro, grunions. Tempura was nice and crispy. Potato croquet was good but a bit too sweet for my liking. Grabbed a Calamansi Ade to drink; nice Calamansi flavor and not overly sweet. Tempura dipping sauce was excellent. Appreciate the Togarashi and chili oil as well if you want a bit of spice. Free water cups also appreciated.

For the bolognese, please don’t think this will be similar to an Italian restaurant; this is the Japanese riff on bolognese. A boiled egg may seem odd at first, but it gives the dish a wonderful creamy texture when mixed with the cheese. The ground meat rounded out the dish well. Cilantro and togarashi paired really well by providing freshness and a hint of spice (I love spicy stuff). While this dish will not be for everyone, I’d encourage people to try it, as it is quite filling and really good for what it is. If you’ve had Japanese pasta before, you’ll know.

Will be coming back to try other Udon options and tempura. Udon is great comfort food, and Marugame does it well!“

“Lu Yi Xian is located in what looks like a office building. At first there looks like there's very limited parking (the entrance is on the north side on Valley Blvd), but there's actually more parking underground.

The main dining room is a bit small, but they have a secondary adjacent dining room. Not sure how large as I didn't go in there. The vibe is very mom and pop, clean, with some fun simple decorative touches.

The food however is the main standout of this place, especially the Beef Noodle. It's deliciously savory, slightly sweet and not the usual salt bomb that most noodle soups tend to be. The noodles are springy and have great bite, like al dente pasta. The vegetables are fresh, not overcooked. And the beef...oh the beef! It's wonderfully seasoned and braised until its silky and tender. Plus you get a very healthy portion of it. This is the main reason you should come here.

I also recommend the Tofu Skin with Cilantro. It's fragrant, simple, fresh and satisfying. If you order the potstickers, be warned that you get four but they are much much larger than most places. I ended up taking them to go.

All and all this place is well worth the price. It's not a super fancy place, but the food is fantastic.“
