“A very small Thai restaurant but great food. There isn't a very big parking lot in the back but you can find parking nearby on the streets. There also isn't many tables inside so that is why the wait times get so long. Luckily, we came at a good time and didn't have to wait. The employees are friendly and have good service too.We ordered the pad thai, pad see ew, chicken satay, khao soi. The satay was okay but I really liked the pad thai and pad see ew. However, the portions are a bit on the smaller side for the price. One dish is barely enough for one person. But I guess the size is good for trying different dishes with friends.“
“So I have ordered Takeout & Dined In before countless times due to the food and customer service being absolutely AMAZING & DELICIOUS! Each time I order, I'm never disappointed by the quality of the food. Also, packaging for takeout is perfect it never spills! I love this Ramen spot a lot and noticed I never wrote a review so it was time to do so. <3“
“Nice local Vietnamese restaurant that I've come to a few times. Staff is a friendly and the food was quite delicious! I had some beef spring rolls and a vermicelli dish with meatballs. Both were very good and I had to bring one of the spring rolls home as it was a lot of food. Would recommend trying it out if you're craving some Vietnamese cuisine.“
“I tried many Indonesian restaurants in the area before and hands down this Wayang restaurant offers the best and most authentic Indonesian foods. I just love the wonderful combination of flavors and fragrances from the tropical spices used in the cooking. Additionally, the owner Lily is very friendly and attentive to all guests. She makes sure everybody is satisfied. It's always been a great pleasure dining at this place. Highly highly recommended! You should definitely give it a try.Vegetarian options: Gado gado ( steamed veggie salad with peanut sauce, tofu and rice cake) is one of the best vegetarian dishes anybody should try ( whether they're vegetarian or not). So yummy!“
“Amazing food, friendly service! The waitress explained how everything was and was super friendly. The soup came very quickly and it was absolutely delicious. There are several soup base flavors, I picked the sour/spicy one which reminds me of pickled veggie with fish soup, which I absolutely love. They also have small dishes, the potato strips are the best I've had in the US so far, they were thin and soft and reminded me of China.Prices were reasonable too!“
“2/18/24: 4.5/5Probably the best handmade dumplings and noodles I’ve had so far in LA and as good as most of the good local shops I’ve been to in China and Asia. Dumplings are hand made and kept in cold storage until cooked to order. Noodles are batched for dough and then rolled and hand cut fresh to order. The dumpling skins and wide noodles have the perfect Q bouncy chew texture. The dumplings can be either boiled, pan fried, or steamed. The shop doesn’t use MSG, which isn’t really a problem, but does mean their food is well balanced and just salty and savory enough. Their beef noodle soup is red braised and may appear lighter in color, but still packs a beefy flavor w/ perfectly cooked tender beef. Their in house sauces like spicy chili oil for wontons and hoisin sauce for beef roll are some of the best I’ve had and also well balanced. Definitely get the sesame pockets that have a nice thin crunchy shell. The pan fried buns are fluffy pillowy w/ a nice thin crispy bottom. The green onion pancake is good although just needed some salt. Think Noodle St still has the best beef roll pancake but You’s is pretty great still. And if you want a drink, try the fresh taro milk smoothie. The owner was super nice to talk to and service was great. You can order from the menu or they have a digital POS machine w/ Chinese+English and pictures.“
“small mom n' pop shop on the corner. food was great & made to order! ordered three types of jian bing, 3-delicacy dumplings, 3-delicacy noodles & soy milk. the dumplings & noodles were delicious too. dumplings are plump w/ thin skin & noodles had plenty of toppings. dumplings can either be boiled or pan fried. soy milk comes in a large bowl & unsweetened. there's a sugar dispenser that lets you customize the sweetness level in your own bowl. the jian bings ordered: 3 sausage, beef tendon, & normal beef. the beef ones were filled well! each order of jian bing is cut into 4 & are easy to split btwn 2-4 people. they also come with a wrapper to hold the pancakes to avoid greasy fingers. overall, the experience was good!“
“Authentic Chinese food! Will definitely come back again! My favorite food is hot and sour noodles and big steamed buns. This is the first time I have eaten such delicious hot and sour noodles in the United States. The skin of the steamed buns is very soft and the soup inside is delicious.“
“We are visiting from Colorado and stopped by for a bogo 50% off roll, we had the dragon roll and another roll, and I can't recall the name. Sorry Anyway, our server was very attentive, friendly, and helpful he knocked it out of the park!As for prices with the bogo, we paid 25 dollars for 2 rolls and were very much satisfied.100% would recommend you try them out for fast friendly service and great price for tasty sushi!“
“I love congees. When I saw The Congee show up on my search results when I was in Alhambra. I want to try them. I was there before lunchtime. So I got a table right away. The restaurant is not very big. The service was okay. I like the food. The fish balls are very fresh, and the congee is very yummy! I know I'll be back!Parking: The parking lot is behind the restaurantKid-friendliness: I am sure the congee is a good choice for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: It is no problem for a wheelchair“
“Coming here as a small child with my parents on their "mah jong" break since the 80s, this place has not changed a bit and I've come to truly appreciate authentic homemade "Taiwanese" food here in LA (an art form that has been lost through globalization and corporate franchising). The (orginal) owner has not changed his recipe, nor the quality of the food. Perhaps the only thing that has changed is the pricing via inflation, but the food is still considered reasonably cheap for what you get. The stinky tofu and pork chop rice is as close as "Taiwan" gets in LA. Miss those old "bento" days? Their lunch and dinner (order by A, B, or C, etc) sets will truly make you reminiscence the good ol days in Taiwan. Don't expect a fancy decor nor 5-star service, and bring cash--this place is simple. Lee's still looks like the way it did since the 80s; with the florescent lighting and wobbly tables--but if you know how to appreciate good Taiwanese food, this should not matter to you. So before you decide to waste your time and frustration going to the next "626 Night Market" in hopes of eating some authentic stinky tofu, come by Lee's first and save yourself the headaches.“
“This restaurant is easy to spot in an otherwise sleepy strip mall. Parking was easy and plentiful.Pho Super Bowl is no-frills, and the first thing on the menu had an owl saying "it's superb-owl" cracked me up! ?? On a Friday afternoon, most customers seemed to be picking up or ordering takeout, so it was easy to get seated.I got the super size #15 (tai nam gau gan sach) and the tendon especially was so fall-apart soft. My favorite thing about their pho is how hot the broth is! Usually adding in all the garnishes at other places cools the broth down, but not here. It stayed hot enough to wilt the garnishes and throughout the meal. Do note that this means your noodles will continue to cook if you're a fan of more al dente noodles...My friend got #29 with charbroiled pork + egg quince. I snuck a piece and it was pretty flavorful!Parking: Parking is easy to find but the turns are a bit tight on the ground level. There is underground parking, but we did not need to use it.“
“Sam's is a staple in my rotation of restaurants because it always hits the spot. It's one of those restaurants I go to with my family but also by myself. As with any Chinese restaurant, you don't come here expecting great service but the food is always consistent and they're fast. My go-to is either Shrimp & Pork with thick egg noodles or filet mignon cubes with egg noodles or macaroni. Don't sleep on the filet mignon cubes at Sam's! Mix the egg noodles with the filet mignon cubes and the satay they have at the table and it's soooo good! Cash only. I would avoid ordering online, there is an up-charge. Call in to order or just order at the restaurant for to-go. They're very fast“
“I ordered a Taiwanese banquet meal with Orange Bistro a few days ago. The food is fresh, authentic, and delicious. Especially the Bi-Feng Tang lobster was the best. All my colleagues loved it. I also loved their oyster noodles and stinky tofu. The dishes taste fresh without MSG or too much oil. Please call them at least one or two days before your arrival if you are going to order a banquet table. I highly recommend this authentic Taiwanese restaurant.“
“Came here for my bday and all the food we ordered was delish! Everyone loved their order. If it's your 1st time going, might be best to come in a group so you can share most items because it's so hard to pick one! Service was a bit slow and ambiance is on point! We would be back!“
“Noodle World's name says it all...you come here for the noodle and rice dishes. A wide variety of Asian themed dishes featuring..rice and noodles, along with meats like pork, chicken and beef. They have soups to traditional rice dishes. Boba drinks are a given among other beverages like soda. The menu is divided by regional dishes : Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese etc. The service can be iffy. Some of the staff are super friendly and efficient, and others are...less so. But, the food is delicious, the portions are generous, and prices are reasonable. A long time fixture in the area and a great place to dine with family and friends.Vegetarian options: Like most Asian cuisine, it is easy to kick out the meat if you are vegetarian. Additionally, there are veggie dishes available.“
“Food is good. I really love their pepper noodles. I love their skewers. I frequent here often.Lots of very large tables. No small onesI also wish they played a little music or something. I feel like this place could be really trendy if they changed the vibe up a little bit. The guy who takes orders here seems miserable. The woman always has great vibes“
“Chinese family style dinner is served.Highlights of the menu:1. Shrimp & pork dumplings2. Stir fried shredded pork w noodles3. Steamed mini pork buns4. Cheese beef roll5. Shangdong style chicken6. Stir fried vegetables7. Cold mix of pig ears, beef tripe & dry tofu8. Hot & sour soup w pork“
“The food at Sunday Bistro is superb. I would definitely recommend it to any group of family or friends who are looking for good food, whether during the day or closer to midnight, they are always giving out good food. Never of low quality and always cooked the best they can. They also offer take out which is the same quality and also just as cheap. Each person averages roughly $10 and you will normally still have leftovers. The service is also great. The staff are always looking around. If you need anything, just put your hand up and they will cone to serve you. Not only that but the restaurant is good for children and is wheelchair accessible. With plenty if parking outside, you will be able to get in quickly as well. This place is good for large groups as they have many seats for customers of large and small groups. 5 stars.Parking: A lot of space to parkKid-friendliness: Contains a kid menu with some options and seats are good height for children. They also have baby seats for younger children.Wheelchair accessibility: Walkways are very wide and entrance is wheelchair accessible which makes it much easier to push the wheelchair around.“
“I come to this restaurant multiple times. This is restaurant is alway my first choice when I craving Chinese barbecue. This is alway a good place to hangout with friend. Great service and clean Environment. The food are very delicious and if you like Chinese bbq you should definitely try it.“
“This is truly a Hong Kong style restaurant, with dishes that might seem odd to us, but perfectly normal in HK, such as Italian dishes which are almost Italian. Consequently there is a huge variety and a long menu list (257 items!). This was a great place for our family get-together. Clean, good service. Caters to a wide variety of tastes.“
“BEST Taiwanese beef noodle soup hands down! I've never been wow'd by Taiwanese beef noodle soup and this place was a first! They're a small shop but has some big tables for large groups. Food:- House special braised beef noodle (5/5): the soup is PACKED with flavor. Tendon is so soft. Noodle is perfectly cooked. - Braised pork rice (4/5): tender pork. Not too flavorful. Decent dish overall- Pig ears with red oil (4/5): on the less crunchy side but good flavor- Red oil wontons (2/5): both the wontons and chili oil lacked flavor“
