We just visited recently and I wanted to share our experience. Our server was incredibly helpful with our questions and knowledgeable about the menu.

Started with fatty Tuna that melted in my mouth so fresh delicious then moved on to giant Clams (Mirugai) it was sweet & crunchy I could have gone for second order not many sushi restaurants have (Mirugai)The fatty belly Salmon was buttery & the spicy Tuna hand roll sashimi was perfect coz I’m a spicy food addict it was just heavenly for me. “If you want the absolute best bang for your buck in Alhambra, Baccali is hands down the spot. It's a total local classic for a reason. I've been coming here since 2001.
We find ourselves coming back all the time, and we always stick to our foolproof routine: the garlic lobster special and the filet mignon. The lobster is packed with flavor and gives you incredible value, and the filet mignon is always cooked right. To top it all off, we always get it with all fries because they just hit the spot every single time.
As a huge bonus, they offer free refills on most of their drink, which includes their amazing Thai tea with boba! It's rare to find a spot that treats you this well on drinks while serving up such great food.

“I think the most popular and best this year is the pho with a beef rib. Otherwise I would say everything else is pretty much what you would expect from a solid Vietnamese restaurant. Quality of the food is fresh and good but I wouldn't say it stands out from other places in the area. I've had their bun which was very good, and their pho, which was also quite good. I don't think anyone will be disappointed with the quality of service and food here though I think there are some other spots that stand out more.“
