We were traveling from Utah and were in that town accidentally. We wandered in to the closest restaurant nearby and were not at all prepared for how nice this was. Even though we were not looking our best from a long day on the road, we were treated kindly and even had nice conversation with the owner.

This is now on our must list EVERY time we come to California!“

“The best spicy Chinese Food in OC/LA area hands down! They have been Michelin recommended for a reason. Their food has lots of depth of umami flavors with a good amount of spice with a refined touch. Their none spicy broths are especially good too. My faves are their dry pots, toothpick lambs, Qiao Jiao Beef. We also like their spicy ribs and boiled fish in chilli sauce, and Mao cai. Service is great too!“

Small spot on Alhambra and I love it close to coffee shop that I don't need to drive around. Parking is a little busy.“

“Kosuke has great ramen- good spice level and veggie options. I love the popcorn chicken and the service is quick. I’ve typically gone during weekdays around 6-7 pm. The restaurant is small and not fancy, small parking area in the back, and pricing is decent.“

“If you order on Uber Eats, the price is exceptional for the quality and quantity of food you get. All the beef choices are top notch as well as the rice and fresh baked fluffy pita bread. The only not as good items are the chicken being a bit bland and the hummus (but that is a problem for most places in LA). Overall great restaurant with tasty food.“

“My family and I have been coming here for over 29 years they watched my siblings and I grow up and now we bring our kids here. Its family style dining pick really good options for dishes. Lunch specials are great and get alot for your money. The staff are amazing they treat us like family. Top fans are Orange chicken, steamed dumplings, Shanghai style pork chops and much more.“

“I finally got to try Patisserie Too at the Alhambra location. There is a free parking in the lot behind the business. I think it is free for two hours only.

Their Portuguese egg tarts are $0.99! They also have cute mini ones 3 for $2. The other pastries look really cute but they’re $7+. The brown sugar mochi tarts might be my favorite. They have a brown sugar mochi layer under the egg tart layer.

“I love the food my favorite is the linguine clams which is made with a white wine sauce but you can ask for red if you desire. Everywhere you go now a days is expensive but at least portions are large and shareable. It surprises me to read the reviews and see that people enjoyed the Tyson frozen wings they use to serve at Vittoria’s for years. I also would like to note that I love the antipasto salad and it doesn’t have only one meat as I read on one of the reviews.Also everywhere that has delivery service charges more when ordered on the app. Update: they are no longer charging for water. I can say that yes they are short staffed sometimes as well as many other restaurants have been ever since COVID. I really love the service and I will continue to be a customer for many years!! It always amazes me that people can’t see when it’s busy and aren’t understanding.“

i recommend the meat pan fried pancakes the most :-)) everything is so affordable n homemade idk how they stay in business. i think their steam bao is okay tbh. beef noodle soup very good just add some chili oil makes it much better.

“They have a happy hour that lasted a very long time during the week from opening all the way to 5 PM which is 30% off everything in the menu. The sushi is pretty fresh and above average quality. The portion is decent and the service is good. I probably won’t go there without the happy hour price but during the week is a good choice for lunch.“

Started with fatty Tuna that melted in my mouth so fresh delicious then moved on to giant Clams (Mirugai) it was sweet & crunchy I could have gone for second order not many sushi restaurants have (Mirugai)The fatty belly Salmon was buttery & the spicy Tuna hand roll sashimi was perfect coz I’m a spicy food addict it was just heavenly for me. Yum yum 🤤 ended with Kumamoto Oyster 🦪 it was so sweet like cotton candy in your mouth made me wanting more which I did order more. “Taiwanese cafe in Alhambra. 2hr shaded parking within the building (unsure if it's tracked). Great wifing/study or working on laptop cafe during the day! 3 Wide Tables with outlet/plug access nearby. 1 restroom, key needed. Staff is nice. AC is not working as well when we visited, they had a fan. Most ppl seem to grab takeout on a Saturday noon to late afternoon.

$3 Wheelcake. Batter is diary free. Red bean is the only dairy free one. Not bad.

Braised Pork Minced Meat Rice in a Cup. Hefty and kind carboload. But taste is decent. For a cafe, it's a quick cheap heft meal while wifing (working on the laptop here).

$14 Rice plates like popcorn chicken, pork chop, pork belly, etc. Popcorn chicken was decent too. It came with rice, veggies (stir fry cabbage), spicy seaweed tofu soup“

Customer service was also good! My husband didn’t know what to order, and the server helped him choose something that hit the spot.“

“My wife and I shared a beef burrito, and the Carne Asada salad. The dressing to the salad was really tasty, and the steak was better prepared than a steak I had any fancy restaurant last weekend. The burrito was just simple goodness … not too fancy or over done. This is a family owned business that supports the community. This place was exceptionally good. If you’re craving a burger, highly recommend this place. If you want a fantastic smash patty and crispy fresh fries, GO HERE. The burger was juicy, crispy on the edges (proper Maillard Reaction), good cheese, POTATO BUN (bonus points), and add whatever topping you like. The fries are fresh, oil was clean, and they were the perfect crisp. I actually don’t even know how they got them like that. I can’t do that at home…but that’s beside the point. I wish this was near me but I live in OC. If I am ever in this area, I will 10000000% be making a stop here to eat, even if I’m not hungry.“

“This place is like many of the Hong Kong style eateries around the San Gabriel and Alhambra area. I enjoy mixing Western and Eastern cuisine so I always enjoy HK style food. Would go again and definitely recommend if you like HK food. Menu was decently large too.“

“I have been coming here for multiple times for their drinks and so far I love it!
It is a small place for a boba shop but it is a pretty good place to chill when the place is not crowded. The servers are very nice and patient when you are ordering your drinks. The place in general are clean, even with the restroom.
The drinks are fantastic in my opinion, no matter what sweetness level you are going for. My personal favorite/ to-go are the rose cream foam milk tea or formosa ocean. Trust me, I think you will like them if you are a sweet tooth-er or Rose lover. (Good looking drinks for pictures too!)
Try their origanal flavored Formosa Umeyaki too! They are not only pretty for pictures, but crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside, specifically when they are freshly made. Great desserts matching with your drinks!“

“Every time I'm in Alhambra I stop by. The sugarcane juice is so refreshing on a hot day. Can't beat the price. It's under $8 for a large cup. Their Acai bowls with unlimited toppings is also a must get. It's under $13 for the regular size. Everything is fresh. The service is also amazing. We never had any issues getting in and out quickly. It gets a little busy during the weekend. There's some bar style seating.“

The service was a bit slow but we were with family so there was no time wasted. I would definitely return. I was conservative on the rating since I only went once. “This review has been a long time coming as I've come back multiple times... I love this bakery! The staff here is always welcoming, helpful and gives me the best suggestions when it comes to their seasonal or for a drink I haven't tried. They always have a great vibe going on in here.

Personally their lattes are great and their pastries are so yummy. You can just tell that the bakers put their best work into it. I'm always a sucker for the choco cookie.

Needless to say I returned for a refund cause I'm not paying top dollar for food I wouldn't even feed my dog. The guy said the owner Rola didn't want to give me a refund but decided too lol n than minus the tax I paid!!!! so ur gonna keep taxes on food I ordered yet I returned the garbage.
