“Favorite Sichuan restaurant in California! Definitely the most authentic Sichuan food I’ve ever had in the states (yes I’m from Sichuan so take my word for it lol)
We live in the Bay Area, but whenever we’re visiting LA, we go to this place because of the great taste.
We ordered rabbit, beef and beef. The portions were HUGE. Every dish was flavorful, and it’s amazing that they picked seasonal vegetables to complement the flavor of the meat in each dish. And the spiciness is really close to what I had back at home in Sichuan. The chengdu fried rice(this should be the name if I remember it correctly) is also very good, not oily at all.
The restaurant owner is also very nice and she told us the rabbit meat is fresh from the butcher shop everyday, which sets this restaurant apart from others. (Well, this is the only restaurants in the states that I have ever been to that serves rabbit on the menu, so I really appreciate that)
100% recommend this place.“
“Surprisingly spacious inside! They do have a rear lot, but street parking is probably your best bet. It’s definitely more of a social hangout than a quiet study spot, but the layout works well. Despite the crowd, service was efficient, I had my two drinks in less than 10 minutes. The peach oolong was a pleasant surprise and better than expected.“

“Located in a vibrant neighborhood, Oyster Dive Bar offers a delightful dining experience with a unique twist on seafood classics. The crispy Cajun fries with cheese are a standout appetizer, perfectly seasoned and crunchy, making them an irresistible starter. The lobster pasta features fresh lobster, expertly prepared and bursting with flavor, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, ideal for both casual outings and intimate dinners. The service is attentive and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable atmosphere. Prices are reasonable given the quality and portion sizes. However, it's worth noting that the restroom could use more attention; cleanliness was a bit lacking during my visit. Despite this minor drawback, the delicious food and pleasant surroundings make Oyster Dive Bar a recommended choice for seafood enthusiasts looking to enjoy a satisfying meal in a relaxed setting. Overall, Oyster Dive Bar earns four stars for its tasty dishes, friendly service, and comfortable ambiance. With a few improvements in cleanliness, it could easily become a five-star dining destination.“
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had a really great experience at MeBo Jiao Club. From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which immediately set a good tone for the meal. Everyone was helpful and made sure we were taken care of without ever feeling rushed.
The food was excellent overall. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared, and you can tell a lot of care goes into the ingredients. The hot pot selection was a highlight for us. There was a great variety to choose from, and all the meats, vegetables, and add-ins were fresh and flavorful. It was very satisfying and perfect for sharing.
The atmosphere was comfortable and enjoyable, making it a great place to sit down and enjoy a meal. Between the quality of the food, the freshness of the hot pot options, and the genuinely nice people working there, this place definitely deserves five stars. We would absolutely come back again and recommend it to anyone looking for good Chinese food and a solid hot pot experience.“

“Nestled in the heart of Arcadia, Phoenix Restaurant offers a delightful culinary journey through Southern Chinese desserts and Cantonese comfort food. As a frequent patron, it has become my go-to destination whenever cravings for authentic Cantonese flavors arise. One of the highlights of Phoenix Restaurant is their traditional approach to crafting dishes, exemplified by their exquisite red bean paste soup. Cooked using the time-honored method with dried orange peel and lotus seeds, this dessert embodies nostalgia with every spoonful. The texture of the red bean paste is impeccably balanced, meeting my discerning taste preferences perfectly. For those seeking a savory indulgence, the Yandchow fried rice stands out as a quintessential comfort dish. Bursting with flavor and expertly prepared, each bite offers a comforting embrace reminiscent of home-cooked meals. Whether enjoyed as a standalone delight or paired with other Cantonese classics, the Yandchow fried rice never fails to impress.Beyond the culinary delights, Phoenix Restaurant prides itself on exceptional service that adds to the overall dining experience. “Fries were perfect, and burger was great. It was my first time here, & I love in-n-out, but some locations are hit-or-miss when it comes to the fries. Burgers are always great across all locations. Only downside at this one is the parking lot is tiny, with only four spots, while three of them appeared to be taken by employees. This is mostly a drive-thru type of Location, but there are outdoor seats and tables under a larger roof. (Not the small umbrella kind that some have) There are two unisex restrooms that are clean and kept safe with entry code.“

“It's a cute family restaurant. Great tentative service. I recommend for 2 people or plus since the dishes tends to be a bit bigger for family to share .
Also, they do have a private room to have a good time with the family or friends privately“

“9537 Las Tunas Dr, Temple City, CA 91780 is located in Temple City, Los Angeles County. The name of the store is "Hometown Noodle House". As the name suggests, the restaurant specializes in all kinds of noodles and various hometown-style stir-fried dishes and snacks. The owner of the restaurant is a Shanxi native and he is a Shanxi restaurant owner. A member of the association, he has been running a restaurant for many years. He has many branches. The boss's business philosophy is that customers come first, quality comes first, and service comes first. In order to ensure the quality of the meals, the boss has strict requirements on the selection of ingredients, and he selects the best ingredients on the market. Good ingredients and strict control ensure the quality. In addition, this store has hired Master Mu, a top chef from Shanxi Grand Hotel, to cook in person at a high salary. Therefore, both the various kinds of noodles and dishes are top-notch, not only the color but also the color. , the aroma has reached the extreme and the cooking is to a standard that ordinary chefs cannot make. Every time I have a meal with my relatives and friends, I will come to this restaurant. Not only is the food quality the best, but the price is also very affordable. Friends who have eaten here are full of praise and praise. One of the best restaurants in the Los Angeles area welcomes old and new friends and is sure to make you happy and satisfied! ?“

“I stopped by El Super Burrito Jr. on a Tuesday and tried the menudo—honestly, it was really good and super tasty. Rich flavor, tender meat, and just the right amount of spice. Definitely one of the better bowls of menudo I’ve had in a while. I’ll be back for sure.“

“Boba options are plentiful and there are several food options as well. I live their tomato and pesto sandwich, but you'll have to be aware that it takes time for the food to be made. Every time I order food, it takes about 20 minutes to almost an hour sometimes to get the food.
If you're able to call in advance for pickup, I'm not sure if it will be any faster. I typically order the teas without boba since it's already quite sweet (and delicious). Would recommend if you want to study or do your work here. It's a lot quieter than Starbucks, unless people are talking.“
“Came here on a Tuesday night for some dinner with family since we've been wanting to try this place for a while. Its located in a small plaza that is a bit hard to see unless you look carefully when driving by. But this is the only restaurant here so there's plenty of parking. It was pretty empty when we came so we got seated right away. They have a good amount of tables and the interior is nice.
Their menu is not that big so it's wasn't too hard to decide what to order. They do have some pricey items here though. We got the Galbi Seolleongtang (25.99), Bulgogi Bibimbap (21.99), Tonkatsu (19.99), and Yangji Seolleongtang (17.99). They were served pretty quick and they also gave side dishes. The side dishes were actually pretty good and has free refills. The bibimbap was alright, tasted like other bibimbap places. The Galbi seolleongtang has two large galbi in it and the soup and meat are nicely seasoned. As for the regular seolleongtang, it is on the bland side since you need to add your own salt and pepper. It also has some vermicelli with it. But the seolleongtang was pretty mid. The tonkatsu had some good sauce on it and was crispy and not too dry or hard to chew. But I have had better tonkatsu before. The portions are all reasonable for this price and economy though and we enjoyed it. I just thought the seolleongtang would have come with rice but I guess this place doesn't do that.
I think this is an authentic Korean place to try since they do have a good assortment of soups and other entres to order. The only thing was I did notice some small gnats flying around while we were eating. It wasn't a lot but it did bother me a bit. This isn't a spectacular place I would crave but it is a decent spot.“

“This sketchy-looking hole-in-the-wall serves the best 生煎 (fried bao) in all of greater LA. The sanitation situation is visibly terrifying. But honestly, I’d risk mild food poisoning once in a while for that crispy bottom and juicy bite. So many authentic Shanghainese restaurants serves pathetic prefab version生煎 nowadays.“

“I’ve been wanting to try Marko’s for a while. My brother and I had lunch there today. We were not disappointed. I ordered Nopales & Eggs, my brother ordered French Toast & Eggs with sausage and bacon. The food was so fresh and delicious. I can’t wait to try the other items on the menu. The service was very friendly and attentive. Marko came and introduced himself. He gave us a brief talk on how they pride themselves on serving fresh and authentic food. Recipes from the abuelita. Definitely coming back.“
