Hangang Korean restaurant Reviews
Hangang in Temple City is a great spot if you’re craving Korean food! 🇰🇷 The inside has a very traditional Korean aesthetic that gives the restaurant such a cozy and authentic feel.
They have really good deals on their combo sets, especially for the amount of food you get. The portions are generous, everything was filling, and we definitely left satisfied!

I recently came here for lunch with my friend and I ordered their cold noodle combo and it was delicious. Perfect for this scorching summer.
This is a hidden jewel of Korean food. Ordered the kalbi tang and soon Tofu. Both tasted so good. You can tell that the chef takes pride in his work. Forget the big chain restaurants, if you want real, authentic Korean food with full flavors then this is the spot!

Hangang Korean Restaurant offers a range of authentic Korean dishes, though some customers feel the prices do not fully justify the quality of the food. The menu includes items like Galbi Tang (braised beef short ribs), Seolleongtang (beef bone soup), Bulgogi Bibimbap, and Tonkatsu (fried pork cutlet).
Many reviewers praise the side dishes, or "banchan," which are well-sourced and include items like fish cake and sweet marinated potatoes. The portions are generally large, though some feel the flavors could be more pronounced. One customer notes the Seolleongtang was a bit bland and would have preferred if it came with rice.
The service is consistently described as friendly and attentive. The restaurant's ambiance is clean and quiet, making it a suitable spot for family dinners. Parking is readily available in the small plaza where Hangang is located, though the restaurant can be a bit hard to spot from the road.
While not every dish is a standout, most customers feel the food at Hangang is decent overall, scoring it around 7.5/10 on taste. However, the high prices, especially for items like the Galbi dish, leave some reviewers unsatisfied with the value. One customer suggests the restaurant could offer more affordable options by making their own broths and sauces in-house.
