“If you’re craving an authentic bowl of Beef Noodle Soup, this is it. The broth is infused with peppercorns, giving it an incredibly bold, numbing aroma that takes me straight back to those nostalgic Taiwanese military village (Juancun) flavors. It’s rich, punchy, and unlike any other broth in LA!
I love that the Lu Wei (braised delicacies) is served as its own standalone dish. You can really taste the mastery of seasoning in every bite of the beef and tofu.
To round it all out, you have to order the Radish Chicken Soup. It’s crystal clear and carries that perfect, natural sweetness from the daikon. It’s the ultimate palate cleanser after the tingly heat of the beef noodles. Perfectly balanced and so comforting!”

“Everything is vegetarian and they also have milk and bubble teas also. Free parking in a huge shopping mall. Clean and beautiful interior. When so much of San Gabriel and Temple city are non-vegetarian places, this is very refreshing to know that it is an all vegetarian restaurant. Thank you very much for providing the service for those who don’t like to eat meat or harm any animals.”
“Surprisingly spacious inside! They do have a rear lot, but street parking is probably your best bet. It’s definitely more of a social hangout than a quiet study spot, but the layout works well. Despite the crowd, service was efficient, I had my two drinks in less than 10 minutes. The peach oolong was a pleasant surprise and better than expected.”

“Located in a vibrant neighborhood, Oyster Dive Bar offers a delightful dining experience with a unique twist on seafood classics. The crispy Cajun fries with cheese are a standout appetizer, perfectly seasoned and crunchy, making them an irresistible starter. The lobster pasta features fresh lobster, expertly prepared and bursting with flavor, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, ideal for both casual outings and intimate dinners. The service is attentive and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable atmosphere. Prices are reasonable given the quality and portion sizes. However, it's worth noting that the restroom could use more attention; cleanliness was a bit lacking during my visit. Despite this minor drawback, the delicious food and pleasant surroundings make Oyster Dive Bar a recommended choice for seafood enthusiasts looking to enjoy a satisfying meal in a relaxed setting. Overall, Oyster Dive Bar earns four stars for its tasty dishes, friendly service, and comfortable ambiance. With a few improvements in cleanliness, it could easily become a five-star dining destination.”

“Didn't know they had more than one restaurant in the L.A. area. This is the second one we tried and it didn't disappoint, it was just as good as the first time and second times we visited the Koreatown location. The service, the food, everything is great.”

“I’ve been wanting to try Marko’s for a while. My brother and I had lunch there today. We were not disappointed. I ordered Nopales & Eggs, my brother ordered French Toast & Eggs with sausage and bacon. The food was so fresh and delicious. I can’t wait to try the other items on the menu. The service was very friendly and attentive. Marko came and introduced himself. He gave us a brief talk on how they pride themselves on serving fresh and authentic food. Recipes from the abuelita. Definitely coming back.”

“Bathroom was clean and smelled good despite the frequent traffic. I have never had anything but pastramis and fries from the hat but the turkey burger was recommended by my aunt.
I am not a fan of turkey or turkey burgers but I tried it anyway. It was delicious and juicy. Probably the best burger I’ve had all year.”

“I have gotten takeout from here before but actually got to dine in recently when I came here for lunch on a weekday with some coworkers. It was full inside but luckily, a table was leaving so we got our table without a wait.
We ordered the Beef Rolls, Signature Green Onion Bread, Stir Fried Onions and Beef, and some vegetables. It is a small restaurant that is family style so only one server and the food wasn't served that quickly especially since it was full inside. The food was ready around 20 minutes after ordering.
The portions are all decent and looked delicious. The beef rolls were very good, crispy skin and not stingy with the beef inside. The signature green onion bread was also very good, texture is the perfect balance of hard and soft. The only thing was that the vegetables and the stir fried beef was oily. Both tasted good but very oily.
Overall, still a great place to go with friends or family. I recommend the beef rolls. They tasted very authentic.”

“This taco truck is hands down my favorite spot.
• Lengua: Not diced, but served as a thick slab with the perfect balance of flavor and chew. If the world ended tomorrow, this would be on my last meal list.
• Nachos with everything + carne asada: The asada, tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, and cheese hit perfectly with the round nacho chips. Add the creamy salsa verde and every bite is on point.
• Pastor: Juicy, consistent, and never dry. Exactly what you want when the late-night munchies hit.
I haven’t made it to the seafood yet because my go-to orders are too good, but I’ve seen people rave about the fish tacos. Staff is always welcoming and friendly. Just remember to bring cash for tips. Parking is easy on the street or library during non business hours.”

“Fries were perfect, and burger was great. It was my first time here, & I love in-n-out, but some locations are hit-or-miss when it comes to the fries. Burgers are always great across all locations. Only downside at this one is the parking lot is tiny, with only four spots, while three of them appeared to be taken by employees. This is mostly a drive-thru type of Location, but there are outdoor seats and tables under a larger roof. (Not the small umbrella kind that some have) There are two unisex restrooms that are clean and kept safe with entry code.”

Also, they do have a private room to have a good time with the family or friends privately”

“This place is REAL good! Small space, but VERY wonderful staff, and extremely good food at a decent price, tucked away in a small corner that people easily pass by, if they don't bother stopping in. But hey, that's just their loss.”

“Small family owned business, super super tasty and worth it. In the span of 7 days, we ate here twice. Everyone is very nice, and considering it is like one person (big respect) in the kitchen, everything is made super fresh and quick comparatively. The 3he house noodles, beef noodle soup, cat eat noodles are all very tasty and the noodles have good texture. The popcorn chicken is also good but lacking 椒盐 for my taste but that's fine because I can add more at home or dip in the sauce.”

“All of the complaints about this place are the competition. The food, and the overall prices are a bargain indeed! The menu is old school delicious!!”
“my friends and I come here every Tuesday before the bowling league starts across the street at Action Lanes.
I love this spot. The owner and his son are super kind and you can tell they love their craft.
The Asada Fries/Nachos are my favorite, but the battered fish and shrimp tacos are a very, very close second.
My go-to order every week is a pina y limon agua fresco with one fish taco and a plate of asada fries.
Recently though, I was recommended a shrimp plate that absolutely slapped. Ate half before bowling and saved the rest for next day's lunch.
These guys DO NOT SKIMP. I feel like very mexican place in LA gives you like 15% protein and 85% rice and beans. Here, they give you at least 60% protein with rice and beans on the side to complement the meal.
Absolutely phenomenal”

“Boba options are plentiful and there are several food options as well. I live their tomato and pesto sandwich, but you'll have to be aware that it takes time for the food to be made. Every time I order food, it takes about 20 minutes to almost an hour sometimes to get the food.
If you're able to call in advance for pickup, I'm not sure if it will be any faster. I typically order the teas without boba since it's already quite sweet (and delicious). Would recommend if you want to study or do your work here. It's a lot quieter than Starbucks, unless people are talking.”

“Great friendly local bar and grill. Extensive menu, great Taiwanese food.”
“Came here on a Tuesday night for some dinner with family since we've been wanting to try this place for a while. Its located in a small plaza that is a bit hard to see unless you look carefully when driving by. But this is the only restaurant here so there's plenty of parking. It was pretty empty when we came so we got seated right away. They have a good amount of tables and the interior is nice.
Their menu is not that big so it's wasn't too hard to decide what to order. They do have some pricey items here though. We got the Galbi Seolleongtang (25.99), Bulgogi Bibimbap (21.99), Tonkatsu (19.99), and Yangji Seolleongtang (17.99). They were served pretty quick and they also gave side dishes. The side dishes were actually pretty good and has free refills. The bibimbap was alright, tasted like other bibimbap places. The Galbi seolleongtang has two large galbi in it and the soup and meat are nicely seasoned. As for the regular seolleongtang, it is on the bland side since you need to add your own salt and pepper. It also has some vermicelli with it. But the seolleongtang was pretty mid. The tonkatsu had some good sauce on it and was crispy and not too dry or hard to chew. But I have had better tonkatsu before. The portions are all reasonable for this price and economy though and we enjoyed it. I just thought the seolleongtang would have come with rice but I guess this place doesn't do that.
I think this is an authentic Korean place to try since they do have a good assortment of soups and other entres to order. The only thing was I did notice some small gnats flying around while we were eating. It wasn't a lot but it did bother me a bit. This isn't a spectacular place I would crave but it is a decent spot.”

“Looking for a taste of Hong Kong in the SGV? I checked out Alice’s Kitchen in Temple City and it really feels like dining on the streets of Hong Kong. The ambiance is super cool, with fake storefronts and shop signs that set the vibe. The menu is large, with a mix of Hong Kong cafe classics and Cantonese dishes. My friend ordered the fish maw soup and I had the baked pork chop rice. Both were delicious, generously portioned, and very reasonably priced. Service is standard for an HK cafe.”
