“Hello This is a good news/bad news review. We frequent Only Place quite often. We probably average about 3 times a month. But it's not unusual to go a couple times in a week. Your food and serving staff are excellent. Among our favorites are Whitney, Bronwyn, Hanna, Jose to name a few. Whitney is especially great! Now the bad news. We were in last Friday and were shocked with the unexpected bright lighting. It was uncomfortably bright. Nobody needs that much light!! And considering the average age of your customers it's even more important to keep the lighting flattering. We had to move from our booth because it was so disconcerting. Please please please change the bulbs in the overhead lights. If you have to squint to see the bulb it's TOO bright. We loved the family atmosphere of Only Place. The new lighting level ruins the atmosphere. We're begging you please return to the previous pleasing level. Thank you”

“What a great spot! I frequently stop by to get a smoothie or shake, they’re all very good! If you’re with a dog, there’s a convenient walk up counter to order from, and be sure to order a pup cup for your doggie! Love how dog friendly My Friends Cafe is 🥰”

“This might have been the best coffee I've had in years and I like a good cup of coffee if you've read any of my other reviews i get very irritated at places that charge a lot of money for bad coffee and this place made the best half calf iced latte that I have ever had plus they bring in French pastry that is really excellent so I thought it was perfect and it's extraordinarily simple bear walls bear concrete floor chairs and tables I mean it is a perfect coffee shop nice music playing the vibe it was retro and I loved it”

“It’s in the gas station! I just saw it’s 5 stars and went there and couldn’t even find the place and in the end I found it’s in a gas station BUT! BUT! It’s not a failure to “since I am already here “, performance quite exceed my expectations, good fried chicken indeed, crispy outside and juicy and tender inside! Should not miss it if pass by!”

“We had dinner at Wistaria last night and the food was delicious (we had the beet and goat cheese salad and the trout almondine and salmon dishes). We had such a positive experience that we decided to make this our go-to restaurant whenever we are in the area. I actually decided to write this review because of the kind service--after I left. I was convinced that I had left my cell phone at the restaurant (my phone had died and my apple watch indicated that the phone was there), and the staff person who answered the phone kindly looked for it and then patiently explained that if the phone had died, my apple watch may be indicating its last known location, but not its present location. She was right, and I soon found my phone--with a completely dead battery. Nevertheless, I appreciated her taking the time to reassure me--despite how busy I know that staff can be at that restaurant. We had planned to return for the wonderful food, but now we will definitely be returning for the delicious food, charming atmosphere, and more-than-helpful service!”

“Hiatus= opportunity for another stop in the LAtte tour. Today’s pilgrimage finds me in Sierra Madre at Syndicate, a fantastic find nestled comfortably downtown on Sierra Madre Blvd. Plenty of street parking and a beautiful place to take a stroll if you don’t score a spot immediately out front. The vibe is instantly welcoming, decor is colorfully minimalist, that’s probably not a thing, but it’s the best descriptor I have. The baristas are friendly, skilled and true devotees to all things coffee, even willing to share some potential sites to visit on the next LAtte stop. The coffee itself is excellent, rich, flavorful and no hint of bitterness. I went with oat milk this time and it paired perfectly with the blend, rich creamy, delicious! I can wholeheartedly recommend a visit should you find yourself in the area, or even if your not- expand your horizons and make it a destination, it’s worth it.”

“This is where you go for the BEST of ice cream, pie and root beer floats. The employees are thoughtful and courteous, the flavors are spectacular and the owner is a civic minded angel. GO!”

“I got a slice of the NY style pepperoni and sausage. It was warmed up perfectly! The crust was crispy, but not hard. The pepperoni has some spice to it and the sauce had a pinch of sweetness.

My husband got a slice of Detroit style pizza. It could have been warmed up longer as the cheese wasn't melted except for the edges. He said the crust was really good”

“Best prices on Tuesday and Thursday during taco special price days. I like their fish taco Tuesday best. The fish strips are a decently sized, properly seasoned crunchy and still tender.”

“Located in downtown Sierra Madre, Sierra Madre Pizza co serves a wide array of various pizzas and toppings and assorted other items as well as offering lunch pizza slice specials parking can be found in the back in the front of the location or you can park in the public parking lot and walk across the street, some of the best pizza I've had.”

“Excellent food with the cutest decor ❤️❤️❤️ not ganna lie, I first saw the store and thought I’m ganna go in and get some lemon ice cream of some sorts 🤣 and then I go inside and was like what’s this place?🤣I we end up getting a gyro and some fries, very yummy!”
