“My wife has the pad kee mao and I had the spicy crispy pork basil. Both were good, but not great.

At some Thai restaurants, the food all tastes the same and it doesn't really matter what you order. That certainly wasn't the case here. Both dishes were different and we enjoyed them. But they weren't spectacular. The flavors didn't pop and they weren't bright. I'm not sure what was missing, but something about them felt... Less than exciting.

I gave it 4 stars and would happily eat there again if I'm in the area. But it's not worth the drive from the intersection of the 10 & 57 freeways.”

“Best pub in the Altadena area. It is a family run business, and really, a more traditional "public house." Not too many places like this around! Guiness and other European ales on tap. Nice selection of wines too. Say hi to Judah, Gail & family and help support Altadena!”

“Had an unexpectedly wonderful lunch by picking this place on a whim! The owner of the Greek Cafe was very engaging and polite. The food was ALL freshly made and absolutely delicious. All the dishes are freshly made to order and was willing to make accomodations for food allergies. If you are looking for authentic and a true taste delight THIS is the place. Strongly recommend it!”

“I think Prime Pizza is the best New York style pizza you can get in the LA area. The pizza is really crispy, and they offer both round and square pies. You can order by the slice or get a whole pizza. My go to slices are the spicy pepperoni, classic cheese, and pepperoni. The hoagie is also very good and worth trying.

The parking lot itself is small, but street parking is easy and usually not a far walk. Beyond the food, this location feels very community driven. You can really see it with Pasadena and Altadena merch being sold and the overall neighborhood vibe from the people here.

Seating is outdoor only in a patio setup, and they have a big TV outside where they show sports, which adds to the experience. Definitely a spot I keep coming back to.”

“I had the chicken and steak with fried rice! Absolutely delicious! 😋 My son had steak, shrimp, chicken with fried rice and veggies, his gf had the shrimp and chicken with fried rice. The yum yum sauce and garlic butter are the best I’ve ever tasted! All of it was AWESOME! You need to try! ❤️ The owners are super dedicated, kind, and friendly!”

“Classic Street Taco stand. Al pastor on a spit, asada, cabeza, lengua and tripas. You can also get your choice of meat over a baked potato. Good is generally tasty, although I thought the pastor was a little oversalted on my visit last night.”

“I tried the egg rolls and teriyaki chicken bowl and they were great. My hubby likes the Sourdough Jack Cheeseburger. Service was quick. Easy and satisfying meal.”
