Best pub in the Altadena area. It is a family run business, and really, a more traditional "public house." Not too many places like this around! Guiness and other European ales on tap. Nice selection of wines too. Say hi to Judah, Gail & family and help support Altadena!
Always a pleasure when we go to the Altadena Ale House. Nothing but good vibes. Delicious pizza, great wine and beer list, ambience fun, and the staff are like family. Highly recommend. Love The Altadena Ale House. 🍕🍷🍺🎶🎶🎶

Altadena Ale & Wine House is a relaxed spot with a variety of beverages, including beer, wine, and pizza. It features a cute outdoor patio for smokers and occasionally hosts live music. The owner, Gale, is known for her hospitality, humor, and extensive knowledge of the menu. It's a great alternative to crowded areas, offering a welcoming atmosphere for guests to enjoy drinks, pizza, and sports. The staff are friendly and laid-back, creating an environment that feels more like hanging out with friends than just grabbing a drink. The place has a classic old-school vibe, with indoor and outdoor seating options. Visitors can enjoy a solid beer and food selection, including great pizza and hot dogs, and often watch sumo matches late on Friday and Saturday nights. The wine list is impressive, especially the French selection, and the place usually opens around 4 pm, becoming busier later in the evening. It is considered one of the best spots in Altadena to relax and unwind.
