“I think Prime Pizza is the best New York style pizza you can get in the LA area. The pizza is really crispy, and they offer both round and square pies. You can order by the slice or get a whole pizza. My go to slices are the spicy pepperoni, classic cheese, and pepperoni. The hoagie is also very good and worth trying.

The parking lot itself is small, but street parking is easy and usually not a far walk. Beyond the food, this location feels very community driven. You can really see it with Pasadena and Altadena merch being sold and the overall neighborhood vibe from the people here.

Seating is outdoor only in a patio setup, and they have a big TV outside where they show sports, which adds to the experience. Definitely a spot I keep coming back to.“

“Best pub in the Altadena area. It is a family run business, and really, a more traditional "public house." Not too many places like this around! Guiness and other European ales on tap. Nice selection of wines too. Say hi to Judah, Gail & family and help support Altadena!“

“Delicious from start to finish. We ordered the Caesar Salad, Burrata, Meatballs, Pork Belly, and tiramisu, and everything was excellent—well-prepared, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The meatballs were especially memorable, and the tiramisu was the perfect way to end the meal. Add a little burrata to a bite of the meatballs for a perfect bite.
The wine selection complemented the food beautifully. They were also very accommodating when we needed to adjust our reservation time, which we appreciated.
Service struck the right balance—attentive without being overbearing. Claudia was friendly, knowledgeable, and helped make the experience even better.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered and will definitely be back.“

“cute tucked away place. Have picked up and ordered to sit down! It's outdoor seating only. It's a hidden place. Parking may or may not be hard. But I just walk a half block. I like it. People working there are nice for Pick up, Too Good to Go and also to eat there as a regular customer!“

“I brought my team for lunch here and we had a blast with different types of pizza pies and sides. I’ve also come by at night and the whole area is activated with night market, bars etc. Also have taken pizza to go or by the slice. From the simple classic ones to inventive ones, with or without hot honey, Calabrian peppers… I’m coming back. I do like the zucchini popper. Just Wish they opened earlier for lunch.“

“We love the ambience at gra. And I’m so happy to see more restaurants coming into the many vacant storefronts in this neighborhood. Gra has an incredible vibe. Wonderful service and unbelievably great music. We do wish for two things though. We love traditional full-bodied reds by the glass. They are hard to come by. “We were in town from Palm Springs for the day and went to Little Goat after finding it online. One of the best spur of the moment stops ever - we absolutely loved the pizza and the service was phenomenal, super sweet server. We ordered two pizzas - margarita and the chef’s special apple/walnut/kale/caramelized onion/goat cheese. They were both amazing! We eat a lot of pizza and definitely have a new top favorite. Outdoor seating has both stellar views and people watching; there is a cute patisserie down the street that’s an amazing desert stop for the perfect date night; we will definitely stop by next time we are in town! We will try the house made panna cotta next time. :) Highly recommend checking them out!“

“I went to this place yesterday and I had a blasts the white guy cashier was so wonderful. Their costumer service is amazing i recommend coming to this amazing pizza spot. I ordered pepperoni and pineapple pizza and the buffalo chicken pizza, the buffalo chicken pizza had but much of salt but it is ok Cuase the food was still amazing. “Really nice pizza place. My wife has celiac so I was looking for gluten-free choices. She tried the sweet potato crust which was delicious. I also got the Philly cheesesteak which tasted really good. Super friendly people and we ate in the store and the food was delivered quickly!“

“Alitalia Pizza is literally the only place we pick up pizza! The crust is delicious as is their sauce and fresh ingredients, definitely different than your average pizza. They also have many other options and we often order a salad on the side. Their salads are large and always, consistently fresh. They don’t cut corners and the owners and staff could not be more accommodating and delightful! Great local business to support and a hidden gem if you have not tried it!“

“How didn’t we know about this pizza before??? Well, we know now! It’s a very non pretentious place, with very direct and promising menu. We tried the PINEAPPLE, PROSCIUTTO AND JALAPENO pizza and the ROASTED MUSHROOM AND SHALLOT. Both were absolutely delicious. The dough was just right and also very tasty. Price was surprisingly low.
We’ll be back to try more of the menu.

“I’ve been to the DTLA Arts District location so many times, so I was shocked (in the best way) to discover this one so close to home. The space is modern, clean, and has a cool vibe — though I still lean toward the unique Arts District atmosphere. What really stands out is the pizza: same incredible quality as DTLA. Blindfold me and I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.

The only thing to keep in mind is that pizza by the slice can add up — if you’re thinking of grabbing more than two, a fresh pie might be the smarter move. Either way, I’m thrilled to have another amazing spot nearby!“

The crust was baked to perfection, and the toppings—loaded with sausage, mortadella, mushrooms, bell peppers, and cheese—were flavorful and fresh. “I love the food my favorite is the linguine clams which is made with a white wine sauce but you can ask for red if you desire. Everywhere you go now a days is expensive but at least portions are large and shareable. It surprises me to read the reviews and see that people enjoyed the Tyson frozen wings they use to serve at Vittoria’s for years. I also would like to note that I love the antipasto salad and it doesn’t have only one meat as I read on one of the reviews.Also everywhere that has delivery service charges more when ordered on the app. Update: they are no longer charging for water. I can say that yes they are short staffed sometimes as well as many other restaurants have been ever since COVID. I really love the service and I will continue to be a customer for many years!! It always amazes me that people can’t see when it’s busy and aren’t understanding.“
