They provide a good pizza for a good price and the gentleman saw I was struggling to open the door either the pies in my hand and he was nice enough to help me take it to my car.

The employees are probably overworked and underpaid, but they still take the time to create a delicious pizza which everyone can enjoy .“

“Last night, someone dropped off a bunch of pizza at the food pantry in Eagle Rock, which serves lots of people in the area. I managed to snag a couple of slices while making a dropoff and cleaning the community fridge. I wanted to first say THANK YOU, but perhaps more to the point, I am a pizza snob and even free pizza won't win me over if it's not good. This was shockingly great pizza. Simple, flavorful, the right amount of everything and reminds me of home (a large pizza loving city back east). “We came in very close to closing time. The staff was very polite, friendly and quick with service. We really appreciated it, especially since we came after Disneyland. The kids wanted to eat pizza for dinner and we got the drive over with to eat closer to home. Because of closed lanes on the freeway, we barely made it in time. I got a craving for woodfired pizza and this was exactly what I was looking for, the smoky thin crust was amazing. The Dr. Pepper was perfectly carbonated, the side of mild buffalo wings was excellent, the sauce was exactly how it should be and was a great compliment to the pizza. The space is modern, clean, and has a cool vibe — though I still lean toward the unique Arts District atmosphere. What really stands out is the pizza: same incredible quality as DTLA. “This place was referred to me by a co-worker, since I don’t know the area very well. What a great referral the pizza is like you build it how you want, but with an old skool pizzeria. It isn’t like Pieology. They have canned soda drinks, or two liter bottle soda, no alcohol. Vito the guy who made my pizza to perfection was telling me they have a really good Sunday BBQ from ribs, Tri-tip, 1/2 chicken, etc. They are only open in the evening hours, and the pizza is good size portion. Their small is the size of most mediums at other places. I highly recommend this place. A little more in price, but well worth the fresh ingredients and they won’t take tips.“

They also have many other options and we often order a salad on the side. Their salads are large and always, consistently fresh. They don’t cut corners and the owners and staff could not be more accommodating and delightful! Great local business to support and a hidden gem if you have not tried it!“

“We first found Big Al's Pizzeria on IG. All of their pizzas caught our eye because of the unique flavors that they serve. We know that often times when you see something on IG and go experience a place in person it may not be as expected. That was NOT the case with Big Al's Pizzeria. WOW!! Can't even tell you how much they exceeded our expectations when it came to the flavors and textures that they deliver. You can tell that they use High Quality, Fresh Ingredients and take pride in their creations, especially with everything being homemade!! I know a lot of people say that it takes a while to receive their pizza but we can tell you IT IS WORTH THE WAIT AND CALORIES!! The combinations on their pizzas are next level and so fun and unique! The pizza dough has the perfect fluffiness, chewy texture and flavor. The wings WOW! Definitely in our top 5 of favorites! So crispy and flavorful! OOh plus the Brisket Sandwich and the bread they use... ufffff!!! Don't forget about Dessert! Even if you fill up on pizza you better at least take a slice home with you because IT IS WORTH IT!! They are large, creamy, flavorful and just AMAZEBALLS! We got the Tiramisu and it was NEXT LEVEL! Everything is OUT OF THIS WORLD and we can't recommend them enough!“

“I love the food my favorite is the linguine clams which is made with a white wine sauce but you can ask for red if you desire. Everywhere you go now a days is expensive but at least portions are large and shareable. It surprises me to read the reviews and see that people enjoyed the Tyson frozen wings they use to serve at Vittoria’s for years. I also would like to note that I love the antipasto salad and it doesn’t have only one meat as I read on one of the reviews.Also everywhere that has delivery service charges more when ordered on the app. Update: they are no longer charging for water. I can say that yes they are short staffed sometimes as well as many other restaurants have been ever since COVID. I really love the service and I will continue to be a customer for many years!! It always amazes me that people can’t see when it’s busy and aren’t understanding.“

“We ordered takeout and decided to do half a pizza of ROASTED MUSHROOM AND SHALLOT + half of SAUSAGE, ROASTED FENNEL & FONTINA.

The pizzas are pricey compared to the major chains, but do note that they do give you plenty of toppings on your pizzas and it's not a sprinkle only.

The roasted mushrooms one had plenty of mushrooms and it was delicious.

The sausage and fennel one had plenty of fennel but not much sausage though.

Service was fairly fast and is a very casual takeout experience. I'd definitely go back for the mushroom pizza.“
