“I absolutely love Bacari Silverlake location! Not only is the atmosphere incredible but the customer service is exceptional. I was just there for my birthday on Tuesday night and my server Kevin went out of his way to make it seem like a special occasion and helped contribute to making my night memorable! Thank you so much Bacari and Kevin!“
“Great slices and great customer service. Might be the best crust in LA. I heard they use something like 27 different flours or something wild. Whatever it is, the attention to detail really shines through. You can tell it’s special just looking at it, but biting in, it’s obviously special. Incredible flavor throughout. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. I’m even tempted to try some of the vegan stuff ??♂️“
“I moved here a few months ago and found this spot searching for pasta. I absolutely love it. It’s now my fourth or fifth time & I cannot get enough. The service is SUPERB (Emily is lovely) and the food is to die for, I will always come back for more! (Sorry the photo is dark, but the arabiatta is amazing)“
“Without a doubt one of the best pizzas in town. I have tried the variety of Diego's pizza recipes and he nails it every time. Support this local small business, you won't regret it. And by the way, his Chicago deep dish is going to blow your mind.“
“Visiting LA and so happy I found this restaurant! Amazing food!! Had the Broccoli and I would come back to LA for that alone. The Gluten Free crust was delicious, friends who are non GF had no idea. 10/10!! Make a reservation as it was pretty busy.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free“
“Best pizza in LA cause it's from Italy duhh Best stuffs around just maybe use the real buffalo mozzarella or have it available on pizzas - I just get the worst farts from your fior di latte ... you know so like maybe put a ball or 2 in that kitchen for all your lactose intolerant folks - also it's more Italian anyway Forza azzurri and thank you“
“This is by far and away the best pizza in LA! We pilgrimage from the beach to Papa Vin’s pizza oasis. All the ingredients are made fresh in house. It’s all run by the friendliest family. Do yourself a favor and dine in to experience it piping hot straight from the oven. ONLY CON: all other pizza is subpar after eating here.“
“Nice spot on the south end of York to share beers and hang with friends! Plenty of seating indoors with a nice enclosed patio in back. Darts, board games, etc. seating for two or large parties. Pizza is solid with a good variety of in-house beers.?Parking: May have to look around for parking on weekends. Not too far away, though.“
“Tasty pizza, friendly staff, can’t wait to return!Ozzy’s Apizza delivers on all fronts – delicious New Haven-style pizza, welcoming staff, and plenty of seating. They post on Instagram stories daily to keep you updated so check there it helps! Don’t mind the wait, they’re popular for a reason! Hats off to Ozzy the pup and crew!We tried both the Liotta & Pepperoni Idiot Pizza, both were incredible! One of the premier spots in LA for sure!“
“Nothing but positive things to say. Meat is fresh and great quality, portions are large, owner is very friendly and involved. The place is super clean and well kept. Highly recommend the Pletch, Sharwarma Wraps, and chicken/beef, lamb plates - can’t wait to try the rest of the menu as they also have pastas, burgers, and pizzas. They also serve beer & wine! You guys have a customer for life. Thank you for your hospitality and welcome to our neighborhood!“
“Honestly, came here for the 4.9 rating on Google and the place honestly didn’t disappoint! David is super duper friendly, helped us with some questions and had a smile througout. That’s what i guess good customer service is. They have pizza slices but we ordered a small pesto chicken pizza and it is the BEST i have had till date. The pesto had a nice tangy flavor to it, chicken was cooked to perfection and the crust had just that perfect crunch! This place is a MUST visit. Thank me later :)“
“First time trying this spot out. We picked up since we live a block away walked there and man I am so happy we have a great wood-fired pie in the neighborhood! What a great pizza!! We got the deluxe which for the prize was decently priced. The pizza is wood-fired so the crust was amazing. The sauce, cheese, and toppings were very good and I am so glad that this spot opened up in Burbank since the city is lacking a good pie place. I definitely recommend them and will be back. (Please excuse the photo - it was so good I couldn't wait to eat and took it after) :)“
“Very tasty and wide variety of toppings it's pricey but excellent.plenty of parking easy wheelchair /ADA Access no stairs prepared promptly even when busyVegetarian options: Ive eaten 3 vegetarian options and they were very good and I'm not a vegitarianParking: 30 spots even for sucks a trucks plenty o f room to parkWheelchair accessibility: Easy easy safe“
“We recently discovered on our trip to LA. We never thought we would find better Italian food than we have in our hometown where there are generations of local Italian restaurants, but the food here beats them all ! How I wish they were closer! Everything is excellent, the food, the atmosphere and the service! Go! You won’t regret it!“
“The pizza was so good! Extra thin crispy crust, a mild tomato sauce, and delicious mozzarella. We got the four meat, and it was so savory and delicious. Highly recommend! For two moderately hungry people, one pizza is the perfect size to share.“
“I had two prior visits and I have always ordered the same thing, a Margherita Pizza. The first two times the pizza was the best pizza I've had in the Glendale area. The third time I was disappointed. The pizza looked more like your typical local pizza shop cheese pizza. Too much mozzarella cheese. It was smothered with cheese. I believe a true Margherita pizza should have blotches of mozzarella cheese with a basil leaf in the middle of the blotch of cheese. The Margherita pizza colors are suppose to represent the colors of the Italian flag. Unfortunately this one was white and green. Couldn't see the red sauce because...well, you know why. Too much cheese!I will say that the pizza crust is still my favorite. I will return, but next time I'll just have to tell them specifically how I want my pizza made.“
“The atmosphere is great, youre not going to be disappointed there. Service was fantastic, they work together as a team to clear and get food out quickly. The calamari and rigatoni were enjoyable. Though the mushroom pasta did leave more to be desired, we look forward to dining in again.“
“The last few times I came here I always ordered breakfast items (breakfast burrito, French toast, etc) they’re good but pretty mid. Today we decided to give this place another go and was pleasantly surprised. The Pancho and Pesto pizzas were so good and the portions are very large. Tofu bowl, chicken shawarma, and chicken pesto sandwich were also amazing! Service is ok. Despite it being busy as always we were seated immediately. I do like the music they always play, it really sets the vibe.“
“This is one of my favorite pizza places now. The photo gallery in their website totally does the pizza justice. It is as good as it photographs! I never had Detroit-style pizza. I don't take part in the Great Pizza Debate with regional styles vying for Best Pizza Ever. Pizza is either good or it's average. The flavors and textures between cheese, crust and sauce are either balanced and each component delicious, or the magic just doesn't happen. Whenever I try thick, rectangular pizza slices I'm always disappointed in either sauce, cheese, or crust. I always hoped that pizza would taste like these slices. This pizza is the paradigm of what a thick square slice of pizza should be-- a sauce that is deliciously balanced between sweet, tangy, and savory-- the perfect intermediary between cheese and carbs. Speaking of carbs, a nice thick crust, just doughy enough to feel your teeth sink into, but with the edges perfectly carmelized to support the slice as it makes its way to your pizza pie-hole. The cheese was-- well, cheese, but cheese that goes all the way to the edge of the crust, caramelized to a deep golden brown against the pie pan. On this maiden visit, we tried both the Margherita and the Biggio. The Biggio is their version of a meat lover's pizza-- pepperoni, Italian sausage, ham, and bacon. The ham and bacon, however, lent a smoky flavor -- almost too barbecue-ish -- for a non-bbq pizza. I know this is Detroit pizza but it was almost a little too un-Italian to us. The Margherita pizza, on the other hand, was crave-worthy. The cheese, sauce, and crust converged into a balance of flavor -- sweet, savory, and tangy, as well as texture -- doughy, crispy, the cheesy stretchiness, the caramelized edges.... I thought this slice was pizza, pure and simple, delicious in its simplicity. Even the tomato slices seemed to be cut the right thickness. I got ours to-go and tried calling ahead-- several times. No go, so I had to order when I got there. The pizzaria (suite #203) lives on the second floor of a two story mini-mall, overlooking the street-side dining lanes on Colorado. The parking lot is also on the second floor which is convenient, the entrance of which is on Mentor, just south of Colorado. Our order took 20 minutes to prepare-- well worth the wait. We also ordered a Caesar salad. Their Caesar was a mix of iceberg and romaine and was fine. Just know that their Caesar salads are tossed-- a dealbreaker for some if you're not into lifeless salads. Just remember this if you're ordering to-go and have to drive a ways before digging in. There is no soda fountain in the restaurant. Beverages are canned. After trying their pizza I appreciate this. I also liked how their menu is simple-- there are just two salads offered and most importantly their pizza, but really, their pizza is all you'll really need. Detroit or otherwise, it's just really good pizza.“
“I was in town for just 24 hours and heard good things about The Elbow Room, so I decided to give it a try and I was BLOWN away! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by several people and got a table in the back of the bar. The menu was incredible, so I had a hard time trying to figure out what to order so I ordered a little bit of everything. The smoked wings were amazing, as was the pizza, shrimp and filet bites. The owner Lee is a great guy and would love to have you at his bar - you won’t be disappointed, I promise!“
“Pizza was delicious! Especially the pesto mushroom one. We also had the KBBQ (award winning), which was good but I thought a little too sweet on the sauce. I expected more from the award-winning pizza. Maybe I had my hopes up too much though.“
“Grandma Tony is the best pizza anywhere. The oregano and bell peppers make that much of a difference. I really want to order a pasta dishes and try all the other pizzas, so I'm going to have to come back a few more times. Screw Flanders.“
“Went here last night an hour before closing. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and patient while taking our order. We had the Greek salad and the Bianca Pizza, it was SO GOOD. (The crust was amazing).Great atmosphere, great food and EXCELLENT service at the Stone Oven. The team took great care of us. We'll definitely be back!“
“This place is absolutely fantastic! The pizza was really delicious with fresh ingredients and perfect dough. Honestly one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The fresh lemonade was also really good! I would highly recommend this place.Parking: There is a parking garage directly next door that is free for the first 90min and you can get your ticket validated for an additional 30min.“
“Awesome experience! We were seated within 5 min thanks to having a reservation. Our waiter was outstanding. He was very friendly and attentive. Food was very good and menu has a great variety of options. And they make a great old fashioned too!“
“Cute and vintage on the inside, too nice though to not sit on the sidewalk patio. Prices are steeper than indicated--$$-$$$. So much gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan selection though, and safely labeled. As in they seem to really understand cross contamination and not joist call something GF even though it then goes in the frier. Anyway, all day breakfast with both the enchiladas and juevos rancheros we're truly out of this world. The sauces, the fresh guac, cilantro, came out hot and so visually appealing I didn't stop to take a photo. Shakes were unbelievably creamy. Kids had what looked like the best burgers of their lives on fresh toasted rolls, thick melty cheese, and lacy crisp edges on the beef. The onion rings looked, sounded, and smelled amazing but I didn't eat one... gluten. Would absolutely come back, highly recommended!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegan options, offered impossible to protein upgrade entries.Dietary restrictions: Seem to truly get cross contamination.“
“We had our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner here last week and it was truly wonderful. The food was fantastic, brilliantly served, more than ample. The atmosphere was gorgeous, filled with flowers not billed to us. Marietta, the co-owner, was totally easy to work with, more than fullfilled our expectations. I enthusiastically recommend this restaurant for a superb dinner, lunch, or special event.5 stars all around.“
“This place has some really great pizza options, even pasta and other staples too! A huge menu and a HUGE plus is they deliver to local addresses. It has a quiet atmosphere with cool decor and even a pool table. The cashier was friendly and helpful and we didn’t wait long for our food.Parking: Strip mall parking, free.“
“I went with my family to MA's and I was pleasantly surprised with the best scampi I've ever eaten. The shrimp was perfectly cooked so it was fresh and soft and full of great flavor with wine and butter and the pasta with it was perfect. One of our family got eggplant parmesan and another one got spaghetti and meatballs, and bruschetta chicken. Chicken was cooked beautifully soft, melts in your mouth. The young kids enjoyed their spaghetti and meatballs and even the garlic bread and knots. For dessert we tried three of them; one was an outstanding chocolate mousse with a little whipped cream on top which you could get with raspberries or not, and we got a Tiramisu and a delicious sweet pistachio cake with a little icing on top. Their garlic bread is amazing! You get lots of little pieces of garlic on it and it's soft bread with the crunchy crust I mean you can't get any better than that. They also gave us garlic knots. The only thing we could say wasn't 100% for us was that the broccoli and carrots vegetable mix was not cooked enough to be softer so we asked for them to make it softer and they did. A server will come around and ask if you want any more freshly grated Parmesan cheese on anything and they give you a lot if you want it . The portions are large. The service is incredible, our waiter was excellent and checked with us every few minutes to make sure everything was fine, they do everything with a smile. It's just impeccable.I just wish the place was bigger as it's very popular for obvious reasons why every every table got filled up while we were there with people waiting to come in. If you have more than two people I'd say get a reservation, it's a must. This is now my new favorite restaurant I'm so glad we went there. Excellently managed and there's a big parking lot in that shopping center where it's located next to a market, and the freeway. And interestingly enough all the servers are men, and it works great. If I could ask for one thing they could include in their menu it would be for something like a filet of sole with a wine and garlic sauce. They do have a salmon dish but I don't eat salmon. But I did taste everything we ordered and all of it was delicious. We returned a week later, last night, and tried some other dishes. The salmon was very good, comes with fresh cooked vegies and pasta. The chicken and orzo soup is the best chicken soup I have had in any restaurant in my entire life, and I am very picky and this one is like what I make at home. I have never praised another chicken soup. The butterscotch budino dessert is delicious. The service is still excellent, Seth was our server who went above and beyond always with a real smile, warmth, eager to help. When we left there were many people waiting to get in. If you have to wait or you get cold easily, bring a warm jacket or sweater. It is worth waiting for.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options.“
“Authentic Italian dishes! The lasagna is excellent. You have to wait a few more mins cuz it's brought to you right out of the oven.. buts it's worth the wait! Yummy! Cozy place. Makes you feel right at home but with chef services. Love it!!Parking: Parking in front, west side and parking in rear.“
“Well our hotel recommended this place. Our server was good and made some good recommendations. They were right about the food. I ordered the chicken club sandwich, and it was so yummy! It's very filling. The sweet potato fries were not overcooked. I ordered the hibiscus ? flavored tequila drink. Sooo yummy and had a good amount of liquor. It wasn't a juice filled drink. I recommend this place to anyone and the good part is they are open until 3am. ?“
“Got some wings, salad, and pizza from here (half and half). Me and my wife split a meat lovers and supreme and it was pretty damn good. The corners were nice and crispy, the salad was big and had alot of toppings, and the wings were fire. Definitely enough for a family of four but we just kept for leftovers. I would return if I was in the area.“
“The owners were very nice. In addition to great customer service, their food was very delicious. I had ordered a cappuccino club (combo). Not only were they delicious, but it was fresh and extremely neat. My friend had a chicken sandwich & he was satisfied with his meal. Also, great fries (very well seasoned). I will definitely come back. 6 stars!“
“This place is a hidden gem. The portions are big and the price is small. The food is absolutely delicious. The customer service was spot on. The next time I'm in the area this will be my go to spot. I will definitely eat there and take a meal to go.“
“I recently dined at Gale's, an Italian restaurant recommended by a friend. We made reservations for a party of 6 a week in advance, and the restaurant was accommodating and promptly seated us upon arrival. Our waiter served us bread with oil and vinegar as we perused the menu. We ordered a total of 13 items, and requested the dishes to be brought in courses, which the waiter happily obliged. For starters, we enjoyed the flavorful Mussels in white wine sauce, which paired perfectly with the bread. The Prosciutto and Melon provided a simple yet satisfying protein option, while the Carpaccio with goat cheese impressed us with its thinly sliced meat and complementary flavors. Moving on to the salad courses, the Roasted Beet Salad and Rustic Caesar Salad were both refreshing and well-balanced.The pasta dishes were a highlight of our meal. The Rotini Bolognese featured a rich Italian meat sauce, while the Pasta al Forno delighted us with its creamy meat sauce and cheese. The Portobello Ravioli, stuffed with crab and shrimp in a cream sauce with wild mushrooms, was a standout dish that left us wanting more. Each pasta dish was bursting with flavor and paired excellently with our wine selection. Overall, Gale's provided a delightful dining experience with delicious food and attentive service.Towards the conclusion of our meal, we indulged in the 13th and final course—a generously portioned pizza that satisfied our group of 6 adults. This delightful creamy white pizza, topped with mushrooms and olives, boasted a thin crust with toppings evenly distributed on every slice. Our experience at Gale's was undeniably exceptional. The waiter's precise timing between courses enhanced our enjoyment of each dish. An additional highlight was the reasonable $20 cooking fee, and the added touch of live music on Friday evenings.A standout feature for me was the presentation of fresh dishes and utensils with each course, elevating the dining experience. In summary, I enthusiastically recommend Gale's as a warm and inviting spot for genuine, home-cooked meals that evoke a sense of dining among loved ones.“
“I’m Swedish and I agree with everyone here, fantastic pizza and I was overjoyed that he serves PIZZA SALAD!!! The taste is exactly like in Sweden and I’m just amazed with how great this place is! Twelve of ten, will definitely be coming back!“
“Great little pizza place with fast lunch service. Pizza was good, price was right, and the store is clean. They accidentally overcharged me by $0.50, which they realized when they gave me my slices, and immediately offered a cash refund. No need since they deserved that as additional tip.“
“GoodFellow Market is my local market. I’m here 24/7, anytime i need something on the spot, they have it. The workers are nothing but welcoming, loving and most importantly respectful. Everyone is truly on top of everything. It’s always a good atmosphere. Overall, 10/10 experience as always.“
“This restaurant is amazing! The food is cooked as if it came from a tiny restaurant with an Italian nonna in the kitchen. The ingredients are fresh and the meals generous in size. The pizzas are HUGE! The minestrone has big sized veggies whose freshness you can taste in every bite. Every dish can feed you at least once, and there are plenty of choices such as pasta carbonara, chicken piccata, sandwiches, empanadas, salads, etc. We have only used outdoor seating and it was pouring rain the last time we went. They had prepared for that with large canopies and even offered dessert on the house. Desserts are hard to choose as each delicacy is mouth-watering. Offerings include a variety of gelato, cheesecake, a pistachio-based pastry, tiramisu, chocolate cookies, and cherry tarts, to name a few. Parking is a little bit of a challenge if you arrive late. There is street parking and some paid parking. You may want to park on Colorado as parking is free after 6pm. If you are a MAD magazine fan, you'll get a kick out if visiting this hole-in-the-wall, awesome restaurant!Vegetarian options: Salads, soups, risotto or pasta dishes.“
“I’ve been a diehard loyalist to the Arts District Pizzanista, and it’s still so odd to me that they opened one in sleepy San Marino, but no complaints from me! The slices are the same taste and quality as their AD counterpart, and the vibe is as chill as the area that it’s in. It’s a must for a casual lunch if you’re in the area.“
“I can safely say I've tried the majority of their pizzas on the menu, and they're all amazing. The Estrella is my personal favorite. They have a couple of great vegetarian options like the cheese & spinach that's a for sure not to miss. The staff is always friendly and just an over all great experience.“
“The only thing better than the kind vibes and happy attitude in this spot is the incredibly good pizza. Felt like a slice of home from every best pizza shop I went to growing up on the east coast. Great crust, tasty sauce, and top notch cheese blend.“
“I’ve been a regular at Michelangelo’s for many years…. I feel like I’m at my family’s kitchen every time I dine there. Pino and Tony are wonderful people and great hosts. I love seeing Mamma every time I dine there. The food is fantastic. I will be a customer for many years to come.“
“Very unassuming on the outside, very lively and loud inside. Cozy feeling, clientele and bar staff all friendly and happy to be there, had to wait for a few minutes to get the attention of a bartender who wasn’t preoccupied, but once I did the service was extremely prompt and and drinks were made with care and style. I’d definitely recommend and go again.“
“I recently dined at Angelino Trattoria and had an amazing experience. The Roma pizza was absolutely delicious, with its perfect combination of flavors and a crispy crust that was just right. The mussels were cooked to perfection and the ravioli was filled with a delightful blend of ingredients that left me wanting more. The beet apple salad was a refreshing and unique dish that added a nice touch to my meal. Overall, everything I ordered at Angelino Trattoria was wonderful. The quality of the food, the attentive service, and the cozy atmosphere all contributed to an exceptional dining experience. I highly recommend this trattoria to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.“
“Dropped in on a rainy day, was greeted immediately and was sat in a nice booth. We ordered a salad and the special of the day, "A Spicy Meat-a Ball-a". Great ingredient combo and had a nice thin crust...very edible ?. The house salad was fresh and with their unique dressing, it was surprisingly delicious. Will definitely be a repeat customer!“
“The pizza and fries are soo good! And service as well, we wandered in close to closing last night (had an event nearby) not knowing they closed at 8, but we still felt welcomed and the younger blonde guy at register did an excellent job. We had a Hawaiian type pizza with dried pineapple, which sounds weird but was SO good! And fries with their garlic sauce, I'd go back for those two items for sure. We also had a supreme pizza that was delicious as well. Also, tried their freshly made lime guava lemonade, we loved it. Wish we lived closer, would be there more often!“
“Definitely tough finding good pizza places in LA originally being from New York, but I do think Fernanda's goes on my list of the better ones worth trying. Super fresh and nicely thin sliced pizza. The gentleman who helped me was also very kind and made it easy to order. NOTE: The store itself is a bit hidden in the parking lot so I've attached a photo to help locate it.“
“Giamela's is a classic go to and has been around for so many years! Consistent quality subs generously topped with diced onion and pickle (if you opt for it). Always a treat and blows away the chain sub "shops". The only downside for some my be that it's cash only.“
“We spend one day a month up keeping a golden age sanitarium and decided to order this particular Domino's pizza for the volunteer group, and, let me tell you, the bacon was large pieces and a surprise from the SD Domino's. Our bacon is minced meat! Only in LA!It was yummy!“
