“THE BEST Teriyaki Bowl in the LA area! I always order the beef, chicken, and veggie bowl because it's the best. Lots of meat and veggies. Ratio of approximately 30% rice, 20% veggies, and 50% meat. Lots of cabbage, which I like. The teriyaki sauce is not too sweet, which I like. However, they are a little light on the teriyaki sauce. Just ask for extra teriyaki sauce. Made to order, which I like. I LIKE! :)“

“This has got to be my absolute favorite place to come to in La Crescenta for a bite to eat. Everything on their menu is so delicious. My absolute favorite are there burgers. The meat always taste so fresh along with the produce. Not to mention they have the best fried. The customer service is always on point. You can tell they hsve pride in ownership here. We had a great experience at Sushi Monster in Montrose. From start to finish, everything felt relaxed, welcoming, and well taken care of.

The rolls were the standout — beautifully presented, generous portions, and packed with flavor. Each roll tasted fresh and well-balanced, without being overpowered by sauces. The nigiri and sashimi were equally impressive, clearly made with quality fish and attention to detail.

What really elevated the meal, though, was the attentive and friendly service. Our server was knowledgeable, checked in at the right moments, and made thoughtful recommendations without ever feeling rushed or pushy. It made the entire experience feel genuinely enjoyable.
